What a great shop! I stopped in to just grab a coconut water and ended up browsing for a full 30 minutes! Theres so much goodness here 💜Besides delicious and healthy foods, nuts, salads etc. they have local and national skin, hair, face products- organic and not animal tested. Just being in the space was therapeutic. I left feeling wholesome and determined to take better care of myself- both body and mind. Thank you 🙏🏽

Great place for a grab and go meal. They offer a wide menu of healthy options and their salads are HUGE. They use high quality ingredients so you definitely get what you pay for. Their market has a lot of hard to find bulk options (soaps, detergents, etc.) that are reasonably priced. Their groceries are more expensive than a supermarket, but they have a good selection of natural foods that are hard to find in a mountain town.

Can't say enough about this wonderful store. It'd a must visit if you have never been. There is something for everyone and everything is good for you and the world. Great energy, friendly staff amazing assortment of so many hand made things... health foods... crystals books trinkets galore. Great place for buying gifts.

The Local Grocer is a good place to find organic, allergen-friendly, and local food. The prices match other organic food stores in the city, but you purchase quality at a store like this. Also, the store's local food prove that there is more to eat than pine cones in the White Mountains.The cafe provides a large menu's worth of juices and smoothies, with a more limited sandwich/lunch option, as well. Gluten-free options are available. Be aware, though, that the kitchen closes at 3:00 PM, though smoothies and juices are available during all opening hours.The Local Grocery sells supplements, meats, prepared foods, produce, dry goods, and more. Another part of the store focuses on locally made artisan goods, such as candles and that thing you use to realign your chakra (a book, I think?). They also have a place to eat indoors and what looks to be space used for events.Overall, The Local Grocer is a place I could spend a lot of time. It has many little things to be examined closely because it seems as if everything was picked on purpose. I took home some frozen bison liver to try and cook, and I am excited for this!Covid safety rating was 5 out of 5. I felt safe there with the way precautions were set up.Sustainability rating is 5 out of 5 stars. This place stands out amongst others in the region for their commitment to sourcing compostable alternatives to food handling tools.By the way, their potato salad was worth a try. Not too different from other to-go items, but it was enough of an individual experience to take a picture and share!

Stopped in quickly on the way home from Jackson to pick up local honey. I was pleasantly surprised upon entering how much it felt like The Herbal Path which is a herbal/healthier lifestyle focused store in Dover and Portsmouth. The next time we visit I'll make a point to visit again since they carry a lot of herbal supplements as well as other natural foods. It makes me happy knowing such a place exists up in the mountains.

Pleased to have found this gem of a grocery store on our second vacation to North Conway. As a Celiac I am always excited to find new gluten free products and this store has plethora of them. The owner helped me find s’more making materials herself and is a delightful person. Excited to come back and try the attached cafe.

Excellent place with very good selections. A bit pricey but worth it. The iced coffee is very nice — they use coffee ice cubes so it doesn’t get watered down.

I was looking for "local" dairy products. The closest I found was one butter from Maine. The next closest was one yogurt from PA. Everything else was commercial brands.

Awesome place.Very cool gift shop with tons of healthy options! We enjoyed the cool book section.Very good cafe with a great atmosphere. Great menu -we had a hard time choosing! We had a pineapple probiotic shake, a Knight's hemplar shake, a Cuban and a turkey pesto melt. We loved everything we ate!Our only complaint was that we thought it was a little pricey. $50 for 2 sandwiches and 2 shakes that didn't come with any sides. But it was delicious! We do plan to return!

We purchased produce that ended up being so terrible it went straight into the garbage. I paid a small fortune for a pineapple that was so disgusting I spat it out. What wasn't rotten was completely tasteless with the texture of dense cardboard. We did have a good laugh though thanks to a tip jar in a place that sells soda drinks for $16/can.

I've been coming to the store for 3 years and absolutely love it. I suffer with lupus, connective tissue disease and tried a lot of their. It all helps for sure, my face gets a lot of sores from my lupus and I search for products to use. Been trying to stay natural well I happen to try there evanhealy products for my face, bought their cleanser moisturizer and their mist spray, along with their foundation. So far this is the first product. Never made my face worse and actually help healed my face! You have no idea how excited I am now. For everyone who suffers like I do with lupus and connective tissue disease I definitely would say try this product.

Shopping here was a beautiful experience. The storekeeper (and possibly owner?) was very kind to me and my young kids. Great selection of natural and organic foods - we got some breakfast for the following today, and some delicious sesame candies and chocolate truffles, with compostable wrappers (to my great surprise). Definitely stop in here for any health food or grocery needs, and a friendly and warm experience!

Local Grocer is a fabulous grocery store and food establishment. For those of us who are organic/gluten free/ vegan conscious this is the go to place. Everyone is always nice and besides shopping for food daily, I also get one of their great smoothies each day. Yesterday had lunch there with my wife and our meals were delicious. Great salads. This is the place to go.

Stopped in while we were vacationing in the area. Nice little place with some otherwise hard to find vegan items in this area. We had a pleasant experience chatting with staff about some of the products they sell and got some recommendations for places to check out in the area. I didn't think the prices were that bad as others have mentioned, especially when you take in account what you are getting and the area you are in...but I supposed that is largely subjective. My recommendation would be to stop by if you are in the area. We did and ended up getting what we needed to make some delicious vegan grilled cheese sandwiches.

Found this grocery store while on vacations at Attitash. Love it!Mostly organic, healthy options and local stuff. The place also has a wonderful cafe and bakery with many inviting options. Highly recommended.

The local grocers is the place to go for great high quality organic food. Both the cafe and the super market are great. With its wide range of activities (yoga - etc etc) on offer it is more of a community resource and North Conway would be lost without this place. The staff are wonderful and seem like a family to each other. Their breakfasts have alway been great and you can taste the difference in their organic eggs and sausage. We love going here when we can.Park in the back to make it easy on yourself.

I will order something (for example house cured smoked salmon) and it's great, but then the last time it was so salty it was inedible). Also, They used to have a baker who made amazing gluten free baked goods. I would stock up every time I went here, but, then they, for whatever reason, stopped using her services and have not replaced her even though its been a couple years. I still go here though because I seem to be able to find something worth while each time. I just wish I could count on my favorite things being in one of my favorite places. I have started to just buy more from their grocery section and less from the cafe.-I wish they would utilize their outdoor space as it could be really beautiful. Maybe this is an issue with the building owner and not the store... not sure.

My husband and I look forward to eating here every year on our vacation. Amazing food and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Both store and cafe have plenty of vegan options which makes life so much easier while on vacation ! They also have amazing baked goods!

My family and I visited this impressive health store and Café restaurant recently from our home here in Perth Australia. We loved their natural food selections and my autistic, food sensitive child really loved their gluten-free healthy blueberry muffins (from which he had no reaction to whatsoever)… Wonderful experience! It was so nice to find an organic, ethical, natural food store & cafe so far from home!

This is one of my favorite places to go when I visit North Conway. Been going since they opened. It's a little expensive but that's to be expected for their speciality items. The staff at the deli area seemed to have gotten a little ruder over the years. Maybe it's just the kids these days, not able to understand that good customer service is an actual skill that's important to their jobs. They have an awesome selection of food, and of spiritual themed goods (Jewelry, books, crystals, oils, etc.) I love coming here and browsing. Hard to walk out without spending money on the unique gifts they carry.

The vibe was very divisive and we felt not wanted and I over heard them gossiping about us. It’s a shame because it’s has so much potential if the peoples vibe fit the theme of the place.

I enjoy the cafe, delicious breakfast sandwiches and great smoothies! Love to get a smoothie after a yoga class. The yoga studio is wonderful, if you have a chance take a class, it's a wonderful practice.They also have a great selection of crystals. It's a one-stop for your well being!

Great selection of organic food. Visiting the area we stopped in here twice to get nourishing treats 😊 the chocolates made in house are amazing (some are made without cane sugar which is awesome!). This was a kind of oasis of health foods for us.

Hands down one of my favorite places in the valley. Fresh food, great diversity in the menu, so many dry goods that are healthy and delicious. Wonderful atmosphere with a friendly knowledgeable staff. Great place for a good meal and a abundance of health and wellness goodies!! Love this Place!!

Both their grocery store and attached cafe are amazing and offer a wide selection of foods to meet any dietary restriction, especially gluten free and vegan. However, if you eat animal products, they offer high quality meat, cheese, etc. from local farms too. So anyone can find something yummy at their store and cafe.From my past few visits, I enjoyed a smoothie, vegan sausage breakfast sandwich on a gf roll, vegan and gf strawberry donut and blueberry donut, dairy free and gf blueberry muffin, hot and iced oat milk latte, and lastly a vegan and gf breakfast scramble wrap. That's just a sample of what they offer! And all of it was super tasty. (And not just tasty FOR a gluten free, vegan thing!)Additionally, the staff was so friendly and willing to accommodate any adjustments to their menu items. Overall, I loved the food and had a remarkable experience with the staff.

Selection is great, service is great, and food is fabulous for a vegan family on a trip to NH who hasn't had a decent meal in days. Pleasant atmosphere. If you are in the area and don't like the chain supermarkets, this is where you want to buy your groceries and eat a few meals.
