New staff are very friendly and hard working. Always have dog treats and excellent customer service. Grateful for them being there and the fact that they have such positive attitudes despite the staffing shortages speaks measures.

With respect to the mask "requirements." If you are evaluating the store, itself, then the requiring of masks is an ancillary issue that evaluates a very small aspect of the business. Second, although the Governor lifted the mask requirements, and IF you knew the law, you would soon come to realize that private businesses make their own decisions. Now, I will excuse ignorant remarks based upon recent events. Now, Biden, ever the flip flop is calling on vaccinated to DROP their masks and this should have been done long ago. So i put NO credence in these reviews addressing masks only. Why? Because you've done NO research and you are NOT evaluating services and that is simply off topic.Now for some additional reality. The store is undergoing a massive upgrade. How do I know? Because I have been working 10 consecutive days. There are many more products. All the coolers and freezers have been replaced. Many new isles have been created and the store has been streamlined. I literally see something new every day of the renovation. Don't believe me? Then visit now or after the 21st of May 2021. You will be surprised. Then many of you who have limited your focus on masks just MIGHT see the light.Review the pictures that I am uploading.The project is complete and I only served as a worker in a team. Accolades to managers Angel and Mark; these are excellent people.Honestly, if you do not visit this store now it will be your loss. I do not have a vested interest other than being part of the team responsible for the transformation. However, you will see a tremendous alteration all for the good! If I am wrong, then write a review and provide evidence that I am wrong.Things have changed! At 9 am the store was not open but an employee, Brandon, was waiting outside. He stated that manager had a migraine. That is unfortunate but it is essential, particularly on a Saturday, that opening is on time. Arrangements for coverage should have been made. Alas, that did not happen and this is typical of this societies alleged work force.

If y’all drop a 12 pack of soda, why put it on the shelf like nothing happened, I was looking forward to drinking 12 sodas not 10 and 2 half empty dented cans. Not to mention ALL 12 cans have dented tops and are sticky because they are covered in dried up soda.

Let me start by saying I love all family dollars but this one in particular is spectacular. The staff is mind and helpful. And I feel like this location has more to Choose from. Its definitely cleaner. It would be nice if there were public restrooms but I understand how that would be difficult.. all and all I give it 5 stars!

I was absolutely appalled at the lack of respect and hygiene on display at this store, one employee in particular was VERY rude and disgusting, he picked his nose, told me F myself and then I saw him smoking what appeared to be CRACK in the parking lot. I pray to Allah I never have have to interact with this wretched "Bill" again.

The employees are very nice and go out their way to help you if you need help. Great prices and very good store deals. I shop here weekly and always find what I am looking for. I recommend this store to everyone.

I was just in this store and was appalled that absolutely none of the employees properly used masks if they even had any on! Two employees were standing by the front if the store talking to each another the entire time neither attempted to socially distance from those of us in line. We just returned from out of state and felt safer there than I do at home.

I was in here yesterday afternoon and paid for two drinks with a $100. bill.Twenty minutes later, I was down the street and found that they had shortchanged me by $20. The receipt had the correct amount of change listed on it but I was twenty dollars short. I checked this out three times and I did not make any mistake, nor did I misplace the twenty. I did not waste time going back to see them because it would be my word against theirs. Try to pay the exact change if you can, or just watch them and make sure you count your change.

I came up to North Conway on vacation and on 2 separate occasions went to Family Dollar, the store was closed during the day. All the lights were on in the store, on the website it said open. Paper on the door said "closed til further notice per management"A friend went that evening and said the store was open!!

I have been in a couple time and some staff are friendly, then some smoke right in front of the door. Which makes the store stink. It’s sad really to see how little they truly care. It’s great prices and good stock, but 25ft people!

Larger freezer and cooler section than before. Stocked well considering the times!Edit: inconsistent hours went there today at4:11 pm on 5/3/22 before I even got out of my car potential customers said don't bother they're closed!!

Very few items for $1.00! Selection of special Christmas cards is terrible! Nothing 4 son & his wife or daughter-in-law! I would not recommend it 2 friends!

When family dollar employees and friends of employees smoke in front of the building fill the whole building up with cigarette smoke and then expect us to bring kids in there. And inhale the nasty smoke while we wait to check out. I will not be going back this is not the first time I have mentioned it to them and the don’t care
