Items rang up incorrectly and we were overcharged. We then asked for it to be corrected and were given a gift card for the difference. Asked for it to go back on the card instead since this purchase is being reimbursed through work and they won't reimburse for a gift card. Was told that since the money is already put on the gift card that it would be impossible.The cashier and manager helping them seemed totally indifferent.

I was extremely surprised. Due to the unknown establishment to me I thought that the selection would be minimal and somewhat unsatisfactory however I was happily surprised! The selection was large, (Books A Million was a very proper name) from Travel, Graphic Novels, Biography Nonfiction, Lifestyle and More. Personally I am a large fan of YA (young adult) was fantastic and not just Harry Potter and the Maze Runner luckily! For a smallish store the YA section wasn't pushed to the side but instead had a plethora of books from Fantasy, Poetry and Historical Fiction my fav! And much more. The staff was very kind and extremely helpful. Usually like I said earlier I am more of a Historical fiction fan and find Fantasy slightly confusing however the person working there with I'm pretty sure green hair slightly convinced me towards " The invisible life of Addie LaRue" and it has been delightful so far. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would happily go their again. Until next time! - In words of my daughter

Haven't been there in a while, things have changed. Stopped in around 5:30 PM, before the door closed behind me, a guy with a broom, kind of loud, CAN I HELP YOU FIND SOMETHING. No, I replied, as I finished saying NO, someone behind the counter said, we close in half a hour. I have never felt more unwelcome. Bye.

Staff is always super helpful. When I went in with three of our kids, we purchased quite a bit and one of the cashier's went out of the way to save me some money with a coupon (and she wasn't even the one ringing me up!) . Saved me an additional 15%, which is always welcome. The cashier cashing us out was also super friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be back

Excellent store with fabulous staff. The selection is great and I was lost selecting books last evening at the North Conway, NH store .I lost an earring but left without noticing it. When I realized, I came back to find that the store was closed. I was worried so I left a message on a sticky note on the door. I was pleasantly surprised to get message this morning from Sharlene ( I am not sure if I have the right name) that she found the earring and was holding it for me. I cannot thank her enough for going the extra mile to help me. I thank you from the bottom of my head for your kindness.

Good selection of books with some fun deals that get you extras (like a tote bag!) And the staff are all very nice and definitely seem passionate and interested in books, offering suggestions and having read some of the ones you purchase themselves.

This is a smaller location but they have everything new and anything anyone would want. They have a toy section that has different stuff from Wal mart. I go here to get my books and magazines.

had the largest section for manga! not the greatest on quality classics though. I went in expecting a hard cover crime & punishment or the most recent translation but was met with an on sale $5 one. it seemed more teen & kid directed. they lacked a lot of books. for me it was fine, but for others it most likely could be dissapointing :( MY experience was 5 stars but urs might differ. :)

It's a nice enough small bookstore. But got turned off by the workers. While browsing, I heard at least three very hard sell pitches to customers checking out to join their loyalty program. They went at it for several minutes, really insistent. My family bought some books and got the pitch, but a shorter version.Also, I SAS looking at a book and put it back on the shelf. The checkout guy came across the store, stepped in front of me and adjusted the position of the book I had just put back. Not that it even needed adjusting. I was too shocked to say anything. I'll never go there again.

Good local bookstore aside from the fact that the company is religious. Religion does not belong in government or business in my opinion. The employees here are friendly and the new book smell is on point! Decent prices, but I suspect Amazon will eventually put them out of business too, sadly.

Clean and friendly! They also still (thankfully) enforce wearing a mask and social distancing in NH where the mask laws were lifted.Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a positive experience!

Store is organized with many different options for a BAM that is smaller than most of the other store locations.I bought some Butterscotch Beer [cream soda] from their Harry Potter stand.Staff were friendly and professional towards guests and each other.

Says "books, toys and tech" do not listen just books, no tech and one shelf with about 5 toys. Book selection is just ok no good finds here. Go to barnes and noble because they have more books, more toys and more tech!This place is honestly a pretty junky bookstore.

We go to North Conway once a year. BAM is one of my favorite destinations. They have an updated and comprehensive selection of books and items. I did make a purchase.

I was looking for relatively recent, somewhat popular, certainly relevant, and varied publications in cosmology and astrophysics, as well non-left leaning publications on recent political issues and social issues/unrest. None of the at least 3 options I requested were even available. I did however pick up a Holmes volume cheap.
