This is a really incredible little hardware store that looks like it came right out of the 1950s. Such a cool place. The floors are still wooden and creek a bit when you walk on them. The prices are reasonable, and you will never meet more helpful people than the employees of Hicks. A really important fixture for downtown Colebrook!

We were snowmobiling up north and needed a couple parts that no one had at the local dealers. We were able to piece things together by going to Hicks and finding all those elusive nuts and bolts that we couldn't find. If they don't have it you don't need it

I have spent a great deal of money here and the owners and staff are top notch. With the pandemic going on they have asked customers to please wear a face mask. Thank you so much for this but I would rather you made it mandatory as i noticed many locals going in and out without a mask.

Hicks hardware is the Walmart of ColeBrook! Once you are this far north in New Hampshire, it’s only a half an hour to Canada. Let’s just say, this town is so small that you have to sign out when you leave.Not to worry, what ever you think you need, Hicks has it. It’s a hardware store/kitchen appliances/children’s toys/HomeGoods store. If Hicks doesn’t have it, you don’t need it!
