I have always had awesome service at this store until 1/27/2023. A customer in front of me was treated very rudely. I then approached the counter, this same woman was very rude. I was set back by her attitude, I have never seen her before so I am wondering if she is new. If so she really needs an attitude adjustment about her customer service.

The service here is so good compared to the competing CVS pharmacy that it's hard to believe they are both pharmacies.

Rite Aid in Claremont is a great store and pharmacy. I am always treated with respect and courtesy and the pharmacists are always there to answer any questions I might have. Have tried others, but always ended up at Rite Aid for the best price and service. I also purchase many seasonal items in the store, very reasonably priced.

See comments about the Pharmacy staff. The crew in that store are Amazing. I have never had a problem.I have witnessed very rude customers. People need to remember the Pharmacy is the moddle man. No need to be rude. Thanks JimmyKeep up the good work

Newport and Claremont store are the worst pharmacy's I have ever been to takes 2 hours to fill scripts and I felt like the customer doesn't matter. I'm going back to smaller more caring pharmacy and one that can and will give me information when I need. I felt like the people behind the counter are just doing a job.

Normally I don't have an issue with the pharmacy staff, but there is one "tech" that is absolutely rude, argumentative, and treats customers like they belong below her shoe. I grew up in retail and you are supposed to respect your customers or they go elsewhere. This tech should not be working in retail if she thinks its ok to yell at customers.

My wife has used this pharmacy and store for years after CVS disappointed us. She is very pleased with their genuine caring attitude. We always recommend them over the competition to our friends and primary care doctor.

We love our Rite Aid for many reasons, best & fastest drugstore, friendly, great food & vitamin ETC sales & the quality items we use often on sale, dollar store section really helps when on fixed income & near home.What’s not to love? WIN/win for me for 9 years now.😊

I see people say pharmacy staff rude ,I have never had a problem and always see a smile and sometimes a laugh ,Working in a pharmacy got to be tough customers usually sick or impatient or both . Tough job alot of hours and hardly any breaks so give them one . I like rite aid staff seem good to me just a little stressed and tired I think but 4 stars from me

Pharmacy employees were an absolute delight and managed to save me over $200 on my prescription. Pharmacist took one look at the price as she rang me out, said it was completely unacceptable, had me call my doctor to request a specific brand and pick it up the next morning. Went from over $200 to $23. These people have always treated me right and it's why I keep using them despite them now being a significant distance from my home.

The store it’self is very nice. And the people who work up front are always wonderful but seriously, the pharmacy workers are some of the rudest people. Cutting you off, acting like they are better than you. Frankly rite aid pharmacy, f u.

Update to original review after speaking to the district manager, I was given a lot of in-site from some of the issues the store has been working on, the parking lot being one of them and how it was a misunderstanding between my self and the below employees. You can Ms. Lisa cares a lot about her customers and even their complaints.After a few weeks of shopping here, I was told by an unmasked employee that I could not park there if I was going to walk to other places as well. I would go to the gym and work out for about an hour then walk to Rite Aid to get groceries and provisions for the next day, doing this about five to six times a week, also getting my prescriptions filled there as well. There is usually about three cars in the lot, leaving about seventy empty spaces. It’s a ridiculous reason to lose a customer. When I tried speaking to the manager, Arlene was very rude and definitely has no people skills.

I get my scripts here. There are prompt and courteous. Regularly have 6 oz bottles of sanitizer available free and you receive phone call when Rx ready.

Returned 2 pkgs of Melatonin 5mg tablets that rang up $15.99 each = $31.98 was refunded $7.98. I asked Arleen to avoid the transaction and I would keep them,it just meant I would have to take 4 tablets at one time. She said she couldnt,but she had just voided a transaction for beer a head of me. Being 68,on a fixed income I cant afford to lose the money. I will go find my credit card statement and have it charged back to the store and you lose all the money. Not happy customer

I've used this pharmacy twice now and the pharmacist on my first visit made the realization that the medication wasn't going to work because of a allergy/allergic reaction that would have happened. Hard to explain without giving to much personal info. The pharmacist has gone above and beyond. She also found some coupons and saved me a bunch of money.

I get phone calls when my prescription is filled so I don't have to go there or call..I get shingles shots.pheumonia shots . Flu shots and covid shots there. Friendly staff Prescriptions filled pretty quickly .very helpful anwsers all my questions

I was shopping by the pharmacy today and I was appalled at the treatment this young woman and her child recieved trying to get meds. The pharmacist was rude and disrespectful. Her poor little girl was so sick that she fell asleep while her mom held her. I will never shop here again.

Horrible service everytime I go there now. The people are rude the wait is always an hour or more and instead of calling u to ask u a question they wait for u to come back 3 hours later to ask u the question and then fill your persciption. They need all new staff including the rude pharmacist.

Don't believe any time they give you. They say it will be an hour turns out to be 2 hours plus. Understaffed and their system is up to date they don't even know what drugs they have on hand. If this keeps up we will go elsewhere

Always seem to have an issue when ever I pick up my prescription.....they always have to look for it when I call it in....it wasn't ready one day when it was supposed to....my recent visit I had 2 to pick up they forgot my other one and tried to give me one had to say something to them been seriously considering switching to another one

call the pharmacy to verify BOTH prescriptions were filled, 10:00 am no one answered for 5 minutes. What is wrong with this? There is always more than one person behind this counter.
