All in all, I like this store but whoever does the ordering needs to do better. If you can't get a brand, switch vendors. For example, they have been out of whole food multivitamins for months! There are plenty of other brands to order. This is just one example of many things they are out of when other stores have them!

It's a good Hannaford. Always clean, no weird smells, employees are present but not up in your face. Parking lot is large, easy to access, and well lit. Never too busy- my favorite store in Claremont.

It's alright; The prices are a bit high. I'd only give them 3 *** However the house brands are good and I do like their K-Cup Vanilla Coffee: That makes up for the high prices.

This particular Hannafords rarely has the items listed for sale in their weekly flyer, particularly meat. I don’t know what the issue is, but they clearly have no intention of fixing it. Bait and switch seems to be the most likely explanation.

THE place to go if you are looking for Salada regular (not just green) tea and when Market Basket and WalMart are limited in canned cat food. Great to have for back-up groceries.

First time I have actually shopped here for groceries and they actually were not bad at all for prices. I would say they are cheaper than most grocery stores around the area, which i was pretty shocked cause before this inflation they were pretty expensive. The store is extremely clean, I would say the cleanest grocery store around the area. I will definitely be back there again to get my groceries for the month.

What a great store. Customer service is fantastic. Employees very, very helpful, that includes the youngsters that are still in high school very curtyeous and politful. I have to commend their deli associates, very, very helpful, polite and, always willing to let you taste a piece of meat and/or cheese, that you aren't sure of and may never have had. There is one particular associate in the deli and I think her name is Robin, that will go above and beyond her job to help you for any reason if it even doesn't have to do with the deli. Very professional and polite!!!! More super markets should have employees like her and all the staff at Claremont, NH, Hannaford's...

Staff is helpful and friendly, store is usually well stocked, all things considered. They have the best "Natural" and "Organic" selection of the 3 main supermarket options in our local area, and their prices, while not always the best, are very reasonable. I took off a star because in my many years of shopping here, I've occasionally purchased produce (Particularly berries!) that had mold on it, hidden in the bottom of the box, and sometimes expired milk products are not taken off the shelves promptly. I've also purchased "red" grapefruit that turned out to be white grapefruit, mislabeled. All in all, a positive shopping experience, but be careful in the produce aisle. :)

I come here for a few items I can't find down street at market basket..I have NEVER seen the parking lot full.they are expensive even before prices went up . You will spend 30 to 40 cents more or even higher on some items. Store is clean employees are friendly..when I want to get in and out quick for a few items I'll come here because it's never busy

Always clean good produce, good selection of products. Seems a tad bit dark in here (lighting). Employees are nice. I've had only one issue in the past, made a complaint and the manager spoke to me himself to correct it. Very nice!

For the woman working who screamed at me and my partner while checking out , we had two separate transactions for two separate households in two separate towns, and you screaming at us for buying turkeys while they were on sale . She told us we were not allowed because we were together, all we did was arrive in the same vehicle. I cannot drive. You management you spoke to who approved our sale, should have you fired for your aggression tword guests (in front of my daughter) for separate sales unrelated to each other. You are hostile and a terrible worker . She then screamed t us to now come back , after her manager approved our two separate sales. You really don’t deserve your job

I love this hannaford location. I stop in fairly often and everyone is always friendly and helpful if help is needed. The karts always seem to be rounded up and put inside so no-one ever has to track one down. I've never had a bad experience at this location. All departments seem to be ran very well and organization is great! Best Hannaford location!

A little disappointed in the store, looks like it hasn't been updated in long time. There is a still growing trend for craft beers and your neighboring state is thriving off of it. Beer selection here was poor.On the positive your employees were polite.

I can't wait until they re-open the building's west end - two lane entrance / exit to all the general public again, so that the customers can go in / out to their own pace or needed quantity of space. I'd hate to think if we (customers) all had to exit quickly through only that one current door way. Since it's original city approved opening, it's worked fine with the two previous entrances / exits, instead of corraling us in a single line nature it is now. They do stock quality products.

The employees are courteous and professional 5 stars. Clean store with quality products. The crowded single entry and exit is totally ridiculous and unsafe. Upgraded from 1 star to 2 because if you are vaccinated masks are not required.Update: The single entry/exit reign of terror has ended. 5 stars

Appears to be a nice store. My experience today:. Went to buy Lobsters. After they went into the steamer we noticed the clerk pulling out at least a dozen that were dead. We questioned the asst mgr about getting sick from all the debris in the tank. He assured us that the steamer would kill off and bacteria or germs. We went ahead and purchased them. Wish us good luck. On another note, if your there to purchase shrimp from the fresh seafood case you might want to check the seafood frozen section next . They raise the price by $1.00. it's the same shrimp. We witnessed the clerk do it. I'm not really a Hannaford shopper but I'm thinking I won't be. Their prices are higher than the other stores and the fresh food is no better.

They are constantly changing brands on some items. Store overall is very clean.Neat and organized. Staff are helpful. Really have nothing negative to say. Been shopping here every since they opened around 30 years ago.I've tried Market Basket a few times here in there but the smell of the store is hard to take for too long.Walmart is very hard to shop with all thier online orders workers are fulfilling it's hard to get around them and they usually don't move so you can grab what you need. It's just too congested.So Hannaford is the place for me. Quick , clean place to shop.They just NEED to open the doors at the other end of the store!

I asked the produce guy if he could pick out a watermelon for me. The week before I bought one and it was yellow inside and wasn't good. He picked out a great watermelon and made sure I got it for no charge! Great customer service! Thank you!

First of all when you first walk in you can just see how much time and effort the staff out into the store because it is SPOTLESS . The floors practically shine your cute lil' face right back at you . 🙌🏻😂 Very well organized inside the store ; the organization of everything food related makes sense with the layout of the rest of the store . Plenty of room to get around or by others without invading personal space . Great and I meant GREAT meat selection - most all are nice , high quality meats and there is usually always a good quantity there so you're usually always finding what you actually wanted and not settling for something different because they didn't have it . Definitely very fair prices for the most part , like any store thiugh if you wanna get the best price on everything you're gonna have to shop around a little . Their store brand is actually of very good quality though , I find a lot of the store brand items here give the same name brand items a run for their money !

Super friendly employees. The fruits and vegetables are the best in town. Store is always clean and well-staffed. I especially like the new self checkout lines . Gets me in and out when it is busy

I used to really like going here but the older gentlemen they hire to greet at the door is rude and thinks he can control who can go in and out of the store. If I see him there I will purposely turn around and go somewhere else or go later at night went his shift ends.The produce is also lacking.

Always love Hannaford. Clean, neat, well stocked, well staffed with friendly and helpful employees. Maybe a little higher priced than the local GIANT box store but finding everything you need in ONE STOP is well worth it, especially in a pandemic.

I honestly can not shop for groceries anywhere else. I'm not sure why people complain about prices. Some items are slightly higher, but not all. The reason for those prices is quality; you get what you pay for. Hannaford has the freshest meats, produce and fish.Hannaford supports the local community by selling locally produced foods, raising money for the kids' sports teams and holding a program at the end of summer, that allows a portion of proceeds to go to the shoppers school of choice.You get to know the employees well, and they are always available to help how they can. Its a grocery store that isn't obnoxiously loud, like most. It's a "calm" store so it is comfortable to shop there.You'd think I work there by reading this review, but I don't. I'm just a customer who shops at Hannaford every week for the past 6 years.

Friendly staff, great selection in most departments - especially produce & international. They have stroopwafels! Would appreciate more lactose free organic milk, seems to be out of stock more often than not.
