Brought my puppy to get fixed... and let me just say, they are --> Amazing! Nice atmosphere and clean. They have a section that sells leashes, collars ect. One thing I really liked was that they have a (fake) candle to light when someone is saying goodbye to their precious pets.. A sign next to the candle that says, when this candle is lit, please speak quitely because someone is saying goodbye to their pet. This to me shows how much they truly care about animals and their owners. They are very professional, caring and were all great with my puppy. Everyone in the office was very nice, and patient and took the time to awnser all my questions without me feeling rushed. The vet even stayed late after closing hours to check on a concern I was having with my puppy.. she was hands down GREAT! I even paid less then I would at my normal veterinary office and got more done. I will be switching to this veterinarian for all my future animal needs. A+ service, I highly recommend this place!❤

I cannot rave enough about the care we receive here. As an English bulldog mom, I have struggled to find the right one until we met Dr. Pollack. She is easily the most knowledgeable veterinarian and i love how much passion she shows for the job. From routine check ups to seasonal allergy issues to run-ins with porcupines and more. I highly recommend her! Whenever I call, Morgan is always an exceptional tech to speak with along with the other staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable. Despite being short-staffed through the pandemic, I have always been able to get appointments when needed. The pricing is comparable to any other clinic we have visited but worth every Penny due of the high standard of care here! Would give a 6th star if I could!!

So happy with our first appointment at Claremont Animal Hospital! We recently moved to the area and were glad to hear that this clinic is able to see more "unique" animals, such as our pet pig. The tusk trim performed by Dr. Fisher and his assistant was so incredibly smooth - out of all the vet visits we've had to trim down our Porky Boy's tusks, this was by far the least stressful! Huge shoutout to Dr. Fisher and his staff; we absolutely recommend this animal hospital and will certainly go back for all of our future piggo needs.

I was referred to Claremont Animal Hospital by the rescue service I adopted my dog from and am very happy that Claremont Animal Hospital lived up to my expectations.I was greeted immediately when entering and my dog and I were shown to an exam room immediately for a routine appointment.The Vet Tech and Veterinarian were extremely reassuring and friendly to a nervous first time dog dad and Critical Care Paramedic. The staff loved the interaction and play with their patient.The clinical and technical skill shown were excellent and I appreciated the Fear Free practice certification.I recommend them highly.

The BEST clinic around, By far! We drive over an hour to come here for the GREAT service. I will not go just anywhere and have worked in the vet industry locally, so am very picky about who I use for our four legged kids. Do not hesitate, they are worth the drive! They also come to our farm for large animals. We miss Dr. Fisher (he deserves his retirement now<3) but Dr. Pollack is fantastic. Had my first experience with her the other day and she was great! I see why she was chosen by Lynn. Well deserved. Thanks for all you guys do!

Claremont Animal Hospital took excellent care of my golden retriever (Nash) when we found that he had a heart condition. Though in the end there was nothing that could be done for my 2 year old dog. Dr. G answered every question I had with honesty and with my feelings in mind. She could tell he wasn't just a pet to me, he was my baby. He was there for me through one of the hardest 2 years of my life. I lost him a year ago and it still hurts everyday. That is why it has taken be this long to even be able to write this review. My poor boy passed away on a weekend in the middle of the night and I called to let them know and they told me to bring him in the next morning so they could take care of him and they did it all with such grace. I highly recommend this Animal hospital to anyone that loves their animals. The staff has a very hard job and even though they are under staffed and have extremely high demand for there services they made my situation feel top of the list.

Dr. Pollak took exceptional care of our little girl Pipa. The team went above and beyond in every way. From progesterone, insemination, ultrasound, xray, overnight emergency cesaerian delivery and postnatal care. Dr. Pollak even made sure all the pups latched and got colostrum before leaving after delivery. I can't say enough amazing things about this hospital.

My Jasmine was an unhappy cat. Now that her tooth feels better and all she has to worry about is getting a liquid antibiotic for a week, she is much happier! and she can eat again!

I have no idea where the compassion is for animals from this place!A friend of mine uses them and he has had nothing but issues here - he doesn't even like to go here. His puppy was almost dead and they sent him elsewhere.I recently relocated here - and my dog has a slight emergency - I dont want to contact them...but I am in bind....and they wont see him - its just awful.....Stay away from this place - there is no care, no empathy, no compassion for animals...

We had to drive an hour away to put our cat down because there were no vets close to us available for emergencies! He suffocated to death because we had no where to bring him that was closer than 40 minutes! I haven't been able to find a vetaniarn that actually cares about animals anywhere near us! It's just a job and another number! ALL vets should have an emergency number for legitimate emergencies! Not right at all for people that paid to go to school to help animals!

I booked an appointment after calling three times and finally getting through. My cat had gotten in a fight with some large creature. He's a long haired cat and wouldn't let me touch his leg. I walked 10 miles to the vet to have them treat me like I mistreated him for taking so long to get him there when in reality I had to wait 2 months for them to have an opening. They gave him an x-ray (I don't think they actually did the x -ray. They just charged me for it.)and some antibiotics and pain med and charged me $500 and sent him home saying call them if he still has problems. Obviously they didn't fix his leg because he still won't put it to the floor. But I can't afford to be paying $500 for them to not do anything. They ripped me off because they knew there is no other vet around. So be careful. I'm out $500 and still have an injured cat. I want to book another appointment but who can afford to pay this much cash out of pocket and not have the problem fixed. Not to mention my poor cat is still in pain.

New the area and had to find a vet. My local vet said they couldn't see us for 2 weeks since Sully, my hound, was a new patient even after explaining that he had an ear infection that was distressing him grwatly. Called Claremont Animal Hospital and they got us in the next day! The staff and Vet were all pleasant, efficient and very sweet to Sully. So glad to have found them! I feel comfortable knowing we now have CAH for all our veterinary needs.

My Black Lab got into a porcupine while out with his dog Walker. I called and they said “ when will you be here?” No discussion about trying to fit him in. I am an hour away, but as soon as we got there someone came out and took him in right away. The cost was 1/2 of what I would pay at my prior Vet, if I could get in! The Drs. & staff are awesome! So worth the drive to receive such wonderful care!

I have been with Claremont Animal Hospital since 1978. Dr.Fisher is excellent ! This morning my new pup got into the fishing closet , clever pup , he's 11 weeks old with a fish hook stuck in his Jowl .I called CAH at 8 am and was told they were at 1/3 staff and one vet ! So she said we are telling people to sink or swim ? Good luck ! No recommendations for another vet nothing. Thanks . I'll be there Monday to start my new journey!

We've been going to the Claremont Animal Hospital for 40+ years. Dr. Fisher is thee best veterinarian I've ever met. I trust his knowledge, intuition, and skills immensely. His understanding, connection, and rapport with animals is special. The staff is incredible too. They treat every patient as if they were their own pet. How can you ask for more?

Absolutely amazing!!! I couldn't imagine ever going anywhere else. I love my animals and want them to have the best possible care and we have tried area vets but never felt like my pet was in the best care possible. We gave Claremont Animal Hospital a try and have fell in love with the staff and amazing care they provide, even on weekends and holidays, they are there for us which is more then I can say for other vets we have had care with! They are also very aware that people have a budget and some compassionate all the way around.

Aquired a two week old orphan kitten who developed an abscess. I had never been here, I called an hour before they closed due to the poor kitten's abscess popping and turning red. They were very quick to get me in even without being a previous customer. I have to say all the staff are extremely caring and sweet. I had a wonderful visit and they were able to clean him up and get him set on medication very quickly. I highly recommend this place. They have big hearts and are passionate pet people. They deserve a 10 star review if possible. Definitely using them in the future. Thank you all!

Dr Fisher and his staff give our labs extraordinary care. It is totally worth the hour drive one way to receive our care from him. They are kind and compassionate and genuinely care about my dogs and me. Highly recommend

I have not been to a vet here yet but my 13 year old cat has been to vets all over the US. He was very sick and on his way out so I called around to find a place to have him put down witch destroyed me and my family. I called every vet in Springfield, the vet hospital in town were rude and wanted $195. Which money was not the issue but they did not seem compassionate at all. So I called the one in Westminster and they were not do anything because he had not been there before And they were not taking new patients so they could not put him down. So I called Claremont explain the situation to the lady. The lady who answered my call was extremely sympathetic And helpful she gave me a quote of $145. When I got there I was very impressed to see a sign in the front asking people to keep it down because other people might be there morning their pets. They got us into a room extremely fast they checked his weight and let me know that the bill was only going to be $114. Asked if I wanted to pay now or after. Then the doctor came in with her assistant. Sarah Mills I believe was the veterinarian they were both extremely sympathetic very kind And allowed us to stay by his side the whole time I did have him sedated before the actual utilization that’s why the cost was a little high. It was going to be $80 for just the utilization. They let us stay in the room for as long as we needed with him. I have nothing but great things to say about this place I would recommend anybody taking their pets to them. Thank you all At Claremont animal Hospital.

The front desk staff, technicians and doctors listen, evaluate and he[p (with options and personal experiences they have had) when I have been faced with making difficult decisions. I presently have 4 dogs and 3 cats one of whom is 21 years of age. End of life decisions are the hardest as you can imagine. The doctor has come to my house 5 times over the years (when it was time) so that the end of life experience for my pet was as gentle as possible. I am forever grateful and appreciative to have those memories.. Thank you.

They were awesome!Our bunny needed surgery, and I was incredibly nervous about choosing a new vet. Claremont is now our top choice. They were very patient with my concerns and took perfect care of her, even called the next morning (Saturday!) to see how she was doing. Even the price was great, $150 and well worth the treatment she received.Any reviewer who complains about the cost of veterinary services will never be happy, no matter where they go. If you can't afford proper care, find a proper home for your pet.

We were visiting family in New Hamshire when my dog required immediate care. I was very delighted with the whole process from beginning to end..the first phone call, the check in, wait time and social distancing protocols in place. Best of all was the care we recieved from Sarah Barker, her patience and expertise.Our boy has since passed. I have been bringing my pets here for several years now. I couldn't be happier with their customer service and the treatment my pets have gotten. Recently my hunting dog had to have bowel surgery and the cost was more than I was prepared for at that point. They were very good about working with me to make payments. I will continue to bring my pups here for all of their health needs.
