We had a wonderful trip. Every staff member was friendly and kind. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The grounds were exceptional, especially with everything blooming or ready to pop! We stayed for dinner, and it was delicious with exceptional service. Breakfast was great as was the service. There was a nice selection. We were on an anniversary tour for the month, staying at select registries once a week and this was our last (on our actual 51st anniversary) and it didn't disappoint. We hope to return!

My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Chesterfield Inn. The rooms were spotless, charming and very comfortable. The staff was gracious, kind and thoughtful. We enjoyed all of of meals, breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and had NO regrets! The food was plentiful and deliciously prepared. We hiked at area hiking trails and enjoyed exploring the local shops filled with hand-crafted and one-of-kind items. We will definitely be back in the near future. HIGHLY recommended!! Great value!!!

This quaint and romantic hotel was perfect for a weekend getaway. The restaurant had the capability to cater to my allergies, and they had an excellent wine selection. The room had everything we needed, and the gas fireplace was very welcome! It is well worth the drive. We will definitely be going again.Rooms: Quaint, romantic gas fireplace, fridge, Kurig, TV, and some rooms have a private walk-out patio.Food & drinks: Great drinks selection in the hotel. Meals in the restaurant were good and catered to allergies.Noteworthy details: In certain rooms they allow up to two pets (as long as they're crates while you're out).

What a pleasant surprise! Had a weekend getaway with my best friend at the Chesterfield Inn. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. We had wine n our room upon arrival, then had dinner in the dining room. They have a thoughtful drink & food menu. Our service was attentive and everything tasted like it was prepared with care. Next morning breakfast in our room had the same attention and care. All the staff interactions were very welcoming. Spent the day in Brattleboro, which is perfect for walking around, shopping, looking at art, eating good food, and sitting by the river. Came back to the Inn for another quiet evening, drinking wine under the stars. We were sad to leave the next day, and already planning a return trip.

Perfect country inn!!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming!!The rooms are quiet and cozy-the fireplaces are a great touch.Breakfast is fabulous, offering something for everyone, including a basket of fresh baked muffins or scones!! The Chesterfield also offers dining in the evening as well. It’s great to come back after a day out knowing you can just have dinner there!!It’s our second visit and I’m sure we will be back!! They’re dog friendly also!!!!Rooms: Rooms are super cozy and quiet. Beds are very comfortable.Nearby activities: Burdicks Chocolates in Walpole!!! The hot chocolate is to die for!!!Food & drinks: Full bar with good wine menu!! Food was delicious for breakfast and dinner

The inn is beautiful and quiet, and everything is well-maintained. There's even an inn cat who sits by the fire and welcomes visitors. We loved him! But the best part is how hospitable the staff are and how they made our stay so comfortable by accommodating several small but meaningful requests that we needed. Food was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and warm. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay was relaxing, inn was beautifully decorated, tea/coffee with fresh baked cookies at time of check in. Rooms were exceptionally Clean with comfy bedding, And more bathroom linens than you could use during your stay. The breakfast is included in your stay with an amazing menu Specials and fresh baked goods. We took full advantage of staying at the end by dining in their restaurant. The food was outstanding and price accordingly. All staff at the inn from concierge to wait staff to the chef were very friendly and accommodating to any needs or preferences. We will definitely be returning to the restaurant and in The near future.

The lights of the Chesterfield Inn were twinkling in the distance. We were far later than expected.As we walked, Nicole greeted with a huge welcoming smile!! It felt like coming home! It was for the next 7 days!We had come to visit our daughter and her partner, in Dummerston, Vt. They had just bought a new home on a mountain! As we settled our delightful “Room 23” we couldn’t believe how lovely everything was!From our Innkeepers, Judy , to Theresa,(our breakfast waitress) ,to Nicole staff COULD NOT been anymore gracious and kind. The Chesterfield Inn holds wonderful memories. It will be our “return to” place for the Livingston’s.By the way, did I mention the breakfasts!?!?

Wonderful place! This was our first visit and we were extremely impressed and will definitely be back. The rooms are beautiful, the whole inn is beautifully decorated for the holidays. The free breakfast was delicious and the owners couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. You can tell they truly think of every detail and put their heart and soul into everything. All the staff were very helpful and kind and we were extremely happy with the whole experience. Thank you!

We have visited this inn many times over the years and still find it as refreshing as the first time. Meals are as good as it gets for our tastes and expectations. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is always there. Breakfast is included and always a treat. We have come to know many of the staff who seem more like friends than service people. The innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating and always professional. No matter what time of year we visit there, we always enjoy it fully and find things to do in the area. We have been to a number of other inns over the years and find this to be the absolute best for the money. My wife really notices the attention to detail and that it is always kept up. We will be back for more fond memories.

This place is fantastic! Gorgeous location and an authentic BNB.They have pet friendly rooms, in a separate building, which is great for guests with allergies. The rooms also don’t smell like dog, which is impressive, most do over time!The room I stayed in had a cozy fireplace, and they can do room service for dinner or breakfast. Breakfast was amazing too.Everyone here was so kind and helpful, and even sent me an item I misplaced in the room… that made it to me in Maine in 2 days. Amazing!Stay here! You won’t regret it.

While visiting New Hampshire with friends for the weekend, we stayed overnight at the Chesterfield Inn. Our stay was wonderful, the inn is beautifully decorated, the room was great, the bed very comfortable. We also had dinner at the inn which was delicious as was the breakfast which is included with the room.The staff were all very nice. I would definitely recommend The Chesterfield Inn and we will be back.

The Chesterfield Inn is a delightful countryside inn near Brattleboro with an incredibly attentive staff (and an adorable friendly cat as their mascot). The included breakfast is fantastic; we also had the chance to dine there and absolutely loved it. The Christmas decorations and holiday music created a wonderful atmosphere. The room was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The Chesterfield Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast and reminded me of such places in the Hallmark movies. We recently stayed at the Inn and celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday. My entire family (20 of us in total from several different states) was treated exceptionally- The rooms were lovely and each one was unique. The fireplaces in the main areas were warm and cozy and the hospitality was welcoming and sincere. We will definitely make this a traditional for our family.

As an EV owner, I try to find lodging that accommodates guests with EV charging infrastructure. The Chesterfield Inn was listed on my EvHotels app so we called and made a reservation. The moment we walked through the door, we knew we were staying at a special place. We were warmly greeted by the front desk and directed to our room. The room was spotless, and beautifully appointed. The dining area was warm and welcoming as were the staff. My wife had the filet and I had diver scallops. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. Breakfast was included which had everything you could ever ask for.We left in the morning with our EV fully charged with a promise to ourselves that we would return to this exceptional place next time in New Hampshire.Rooms: Homey and beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful views out windows.Noteworthy details: For the EV drivers, this place has complimentary charging for Tesla and J1772 level 2 charging.

Absolutely perfect. The bed was wondrous. We fell asleep at 8pm, which is so unusual for us, and didn’t budge all night.The food was spectacular. I finished my plate without regret and savored every bite. The garlic aioli was unlike anything I’ve ever had before. I absolutely had to have that recipe and they were more than willing to share. We enjoyed the filet mignon and the lamb shank. I wish we could’ve eaten two dinners that night.Oooh. I wonder if the subsequent food coma played any part in the solid, deep sleep…I was still full when we went to breakfast, but still enjoyed every bite, and hold no regrets for cleaning my plate.I’m hoping to return in the near future. The very near future.

We had a wonderful stay at Chesterfield Inn. We felt welcomed from the moment we checked in. The grounds are lovely and our. room was beautiful. We enjoyed using the fireplace in the room as well as our private patio. The staff was very friendly and did everything to make sure we had everything we needed. The afternoon tea, coffee, and homemade cookies served in the lobby were a nice touch.The dining rooms are lovely. We had a delicious dinner and we greatly enjoyed the breakfasts.We would highly recommend staying at the Chesterfield Inn.

Website could not show the feel you'll experience when you arrive . Tremendous comfort and cozy atmosphere. Very relaxing. Food is delicious. Staff is excellent and friendly. Accommodations are clean and quaint..Would come again. Much to explore in the area and the community is friendly to out of state visitors.Nearby activities: So much to see and visit . Being on boarder of two states provided a great amount of variety of nature .

My husband and I spent the weekend at the Chesterfield Inn for our anniversary. The Inn is very spacious and clean. The room was nice and big with wonderful views of the landscaping via the big windows. The owners are wonderful and very caring to your needs. I had extras delivered to our room and was very pleased with the rose, fruit and cheese tray and chocolate covered strawberries. We had a meal in the dining room on our first night there and it was delicious. It was a romantic and quiet destination - exactly what we needed. Just 2 miles to the Vermont border and about 12 minutes to Keene, NH.
