Alex is my all time favorite groomer! We followed her over from her petco gig and for good reason! She has twice now caught ear infections our old vet didn’t, makes sure to keep our semi aggressive dog safe, tolerates our wild boxer pit mix, uses the oatmeal and hypoallergenic products on both of their allergy ridden skins, and as frustrating as I’m sure it is to put up with my finicky sometimes last minute schedule changes is never upset about moving things around to get us in at her soonest convenience! When she was out with covid she referred me to another specific individual in the shop that she knew would be able to handle my big overgrown babies, and that woman did phenomenal as well! I trust her and my fur babies lives in her hands! They love going to see her and know her by name! Ten out of ten!

Someone at the dog park recommended Tails Above the Rest, I drove over and Miss Becky had beautifully clipped nails in less than 10 minutes! I can put snow booties on her, but she wouldn't have anything to do with me clipping her nails! Thanks!

I am in total SHOCK over the condition of my cat when she left this place. Upon pickup she was in her carrier so we didn’t know how much damage was done until we got home. They completely destroyed her fur.. shaved her down to the skin in some places, leaving the rest of her hair choppy & completely uneven.. with no shape to it and no skill in the process WHATSOEVER. I mean it looks like she was straight up struck by a lawnmower... how can you call yourself a professional groomer with these results?! My cat looks and acts uncomfortable and she is stuck with the worst haircut of her life! They refused to refund us for this absolute nightmare.... so this review is to hopefully save someone else’s cat from having to go through the same thing.

shaelie is kind thorough and extremely talented. Wouldn’t go anywhere else with a standard poodle a long-haired Chihuahua or any other dog for that matter. Everyone is always pleasant and the dogs seem so happy

I have been taking my pup, Annie to Wendy for years now. Annie loves it there! Every time I bring her in, the staff is always welcoming and they know her by name and give her lots of love and attention. It is rare to find a groomer that is THIS GREAT!! I recommend that if you have a pet, bring them here. You will never be disappointed. Annie can't wait for her next appointment at the 'salon'. :) Thanks to everyone for always making it a happy experience!!

Kat was amazing with our two cats. Sofia is chill and we expected her to be fine during the grooming. She is much happier with her lion cut. CJ has a lot of anxiety and won't let us near his paws. Kat is able to calm him down, cut his nails, and give him a lion cut. At home, we can tell they love it. More comfortable and cooler.

I was thoroughly impressed..I brought both my dogs at the same time..im always a little nervous because my Labradane can be a lot around other dogs (excitement wise)…but they said both dogs did great and it was affordable, only took an hour…Incident free and two clean happy dogs..this is now my groomer..Thank you Wendy

We been taking our two puppies to Maureen at Tails Above the Rest and we are so happy with her professionalism, care and service. Our dogs are being going there since they were little. They are 2.5 years old now and they love going there. We feel super comfortable when they are in her care. I tried calling them three times within the last week and a half to see how much their prices are to get my little pup groomed. They could not even have the decency to return phone calls. I would not recommend them.

My daughter Alicia made an appointment for our Akita to be groomed here for the first time and we were very pleased. He has been dealing with hot spots for a while so we haven't been able to have him groomed so this was amazing. The place was GREAT!! Friendly, clean, perfect with our dog and he looks like a million bucks. Henny will be going back for sure. Thank you SO much Jackie!

My dog absolutely adored Jacky and the price was very affordable! She did a great job on his nails and trimmed him exactly as I asked. This is the first groomers we've been to where he wasnt absolutely shell shocked and panicked to leave when I came for pickup, in fact I popped back in just in time to see him cheesing for some photos she was taking of her work.The service was friendly both over the phone and in person and this is now my go to pup spa. The entrance can be a little tricky as it is on the back of the building so if it's your first time making an appointment just let them know so they can direct you to the correct door

We just brought our cat here to get a haircut after trying to do it ourselves many times. Our cat is super vicious and has bitten us both many times. Maureen was so nice and such a professional. Her ability to keep the cat calm while grooming is unreal. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Love this place, they are all about making your pet feel at home and a more comfortable environment not so stiff and your dogs are not waiting in cages which I love. The staff are so nice and accommodating to pets needs.Definitely would recommend. Jackie, she's outstanding and does a great job!

I take my blind cat here for routine shavings when her hair gets matted (she's a longhair). They're always very accommodating and let me stay with her if she's nervous. Lovely staff, lovely services, reasonably priced. :)

I had to bring my cat Stella in for a lion cut because she had a matted coat. I was very nervous as she is not a culdily cat and doesn't like brushing at all but they did a great job with her. They took the time to work with her and not stress her out. I'm so happy she can feel better now.

Maureen is so great with my kitty Ms. Milo! No harness needed, she has a way with calming fur babies! Awesome crew as well! Milo goes in for her Lion cut every couple of month to help with her long-hair kitty hairball issues...

I love this place.Iv been a customer for over 15years. Maureen is a great and her staff is super.my cat is looking very sharp when he gets his lion cut. Right up to his blue ribbon on his head. Maureen is so good with all types of animals ect. Don't waste your money on big box stores,If you haven't been a definitely give her a try.tails above the rest you rock..

I had the best experience at Tails About the Rest. My long haired cat gets so over heated in the summer a lion cut is a necessity. However, the process is usually not something to be enjoyed. Today the staff at Tails Above the Rest changed that. The groomer listened to our concerns and was so attentive to our cat. He's ready for summer and I'm ready to recommend this facility to everyone I know!
