The SpotOn Fence Collars have allowed our dogs (Jemma & Josie, 6-month-old Chocolate Labs) to go outside and be safe without me or my husband watching every step. We no longer have to worry that Jemma & Josie will bother the neighbors; we will use the collars when we go camping, visit family, etc. Initially, I thought, 'Well, this won't work.' Well, it does. It works. It does exactly what it claims it can do! I cannot speak highly enough of these collars, & the customer service! Its extensive range ensures effective communication even in open and dense wooded spaces. The waterproof design adds durability, making it suitable for various weather conditions. The rechargeable feature eliminates the hassle of constantly replacing batteries and NO underground wires. The best overall part is this- My girls are safe! When we purchased our fur babies and took them home to their forever home, I started to research GPS collars; I did this for about three months. Ultimately, what made me call SpotOn Fence was the reviews I was reading (and trust me, you can't believe every review out there), but their App was "spot on" from what the reviews said. I watched videos made by people like you, not the company themselves. When we spoke to the representative, he answered every question we had, and trust me, I (the wife) had a lot of questions from all the research I had done; he was professional and never tried to rush us. We were still determining if We needed one or two collars, and he helped us decide. It's just a hands-down substantial company. We love our collars, and thank you, SpotOn Fence, for keeping our fur babies safe!

I highly recommend The SpotOn Collar. Over the last three years, I have used the generation 1 and generation 2 collar. It is everything I want: the ability to have multiple fences and maps, the ability to easily switch between maps or make a circular map, the ability to track the dog, the portability of the charger and collar and the five star customer service. I have used this collar with a retired deer hunting dog and with a miniature poodle and both adapted easily to the collar and multiple fences. It gives me peace of mind to know that my dogs live their best lives, unleashed, but safe with their SpotOn collars.

If I could give this a 0 I would second collar in a matter of 3 months…. It doesn’t work dog won’t stay in yard yes he is trained the feedback is a vibration my dog just looks at me and keeps running not worth the price and they don’t do returns

Long Term ReviewI have been using the SpotOn system for quite a longtime here in the arctic cold of Alaska. My family is so glad that we can let our dogs run the 4 acres that we have. The battery was our biggest concern in the cold but it has held up well giving us around 12 hours of battery life. The app is easy to use and control the settings and see where your dog is at. Our dog Millie gets very excited each morning when we put the collar on her. She is a much more behaved now that she can run and play without restriction. The system was easy to set up and create the map either by walking the boundary or drawing it out on your phone. The system is well worth the investment and much easier that building a fence or burying a wire. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants what is best for their family and dog.

Best collar out there, works as designed and has been keeping my dog safe for a couple years. Any questions I have the company is always quick to help answer and trouble shoot. Would recommend this collar and always do!

Wonderful product, just my 30lb Aussie figured out and waited out the fence and continued to get out. Or she is made of dielectric material and the shock does not affect her. Truly wished it worked!!!!!!! I would watch her with binoculars and she would weed herself into the fence at a slow rate, stopping every 15 seconds waiting for the beeps and static to cycle, and then she would be on her way….and we had it turned up to 24 and 30 at times!!!!!! Dog should have caught Fire from Shock at that level!!!!!!

Very disappointed with this product, especially given the premium price. We’ve already had one break due to a poorly designed charging port within a month or so. The replacement is very glitchy, doesn’t record new maps, and doesn’t actually enforce the boundaries. My dog just went galavanting through the woods….didn’t even beep or shock him. The app is also very buggy.

Does not function as promised. App is clunky, outdated, and constantly crashes. Collar constantly losses signal and connection to app. No way to create/change maps in app. Boundaries move 50ft or more. Attempted to return collar that had never been used, only setup. SpotOn told me "sorry out of return window" even though I have had the collar less than the 45 days stated. Customer service has been polite but is not willing to offer me a return. Only a few times in my life have I felt like I was duped. This is one of them. Steer clear from this product and company as all costs.

The collar would turn itself off. Service was quick and pleasant. They had me hard reset the collar by hard wiring the collar to a computer. . The problem persisted, plus on restart it would get stuck searching for phone service. .....i sent it back and they reported that all was fine with collar...... So I returned it for a full refund. I did not want to risk losing my $1600. !!!!!

We live on 16 acres and have never been able to get a fence configured for our property after trying numerous times. We’ve had it for almost a year now and still cannot use it. Every time we try to create a fence, we keep getting invalid fence and network errors. Definitely not worth the money! Going to give Halo2 a try. At least you don’t have to walk the property perimeter to set up a fence with that collar.

Dismissed concerns with our dog breaching the fence. Unhelpful. Technology failed hence our dog breached the fence.

I purchased and paid for this product back in January. Finally a few weeks ago received a notice from them that it had shipped, much to my excitement. Unfortunately a few days later they told me it had been delivered when in fact it had not (and I have the security camera footage to prove it)! I've since contacted customer service many times and always receive the same response -- we have to wait for an investigation to be completed before further action. They cannot give a timeframe, will not send a replacement, will not issue a refund. At this point I'm afraid I'll have to take legal action just to get my money back. Absolutely do not trust this company.

Great concept and good product at times but doesn't last and I'm constantly troubleshooting it. Not worth the high price tag.
