Charlie was super helpful in helping me select a grill. Prices were very competitive, and I saved more than if I visited the bright orange hardware store!He delivered it himself 2 days later fully assembled. I would recommend this store over the big boxes around. Service and pricing is superior.

As far as I'm concerned they should rename that Ace Hardware to "Ken In Paint". That Gentlemen is an intelligent, experienced, and kind soul to do a big help I needed for Stain matching. He was doing that and about three other tasks. The man has rockets for feet. You can tell the paint section is well thought out too as most of his selection I see are products used by contractors. The only thing he is missing is Mad Dog Primer. A high quality Paint/Stain section with friendly and great help. So rare these days, that I have to tell that rare diamond to keep shining!

Best customer service I’ve ever seen! We walked in and were immediately approached by a younger woman employee, she asked us what we were looking for, ran us over to the aisle to realize they were out of stock. She said “be right back” and ran away. She came back SECONDS later with the item from out back. 10/10 human

Usually my go-to place because they’re close to me and have always been friendly and helpful. Not this time though. I didn’t get his name but the guy working there was extremely condescending, made comments about my appearance and actually laughed at me. I am not a thin-skinned person, so believe me when I tell you it was beyond the limits of acceptable. I will NEVER be going back to this store.

Tried to return an unused item within 30 days of purchase. They kept ignoring our calls or told us they would call back when the owner was in. Never receiveda call back. Kept calling until they said, sorry, it's now passed the return window. Be VERY careful shopping here.Update based on the reply...Thanks for the reply but I tried calling multiple times to arrange the return. I was told that it had to be coordinated with the owner. The item is heavy so I'm glad that I called. I was assured that the message would get to the owner. Either it never did or it was ignored. Regardless, I'm now stuck with a $300 item that I'm unable to use.

Although I was so excited to see the new green YETI line and that their prices beat Home Depot on some items, My husband and I were stared at and followed through the store. It was very obvious and absolutely no reason for it. Especially when most of the time we were inquiring about these items. This is something I DO NOT take lightly. I have a unique look and am judged. If it had not been for this, I would have made a pretty substantial purchase. I left before finishing out my pricing.

I purchased a chain saw here. They where great! Showed me the features and even took it outside and made sure it started for me. You can’t get this service at the big box stores. Got an extended warranty for purchasing true fuel for the chainsaw. Great deal , needed gas any way !!.

I would love to support a more traditional hardware store over the big box stores but I just can't. Their selection is minimal, which is a tradeoff you'd expect and I can live with. Their prices are very, very high on hardware. Again, I might be able to live with this tradeoff. I needed a particular screw and bolt and wanted to buy an assortment. The price was $30 instead of $10 from the big box store. If I loved the store and/or people I might be able to justify the premium price.However, the service is not good at all. In the past, I've not found them particularly knowledgeable and in this particular instance, I was waiting in line with four customers ahead of me. There were literally FIVE employees behind the counter and only one of them was helping check out customers. The other four were either yucking it up or doing paperwork or something. Lousy customer service.

I feel bad for my last rating of this place, I was unhappy they didn't have a bird house pole. Seeing that most of the hardware stores near me do not carry them either, I can not put blame on the store itself. So I am giving them a full 5 stars. Mainly because they do a great job of customer service, as well as keeping what they do stock in stock. Thank you guys for being so friendly and helpful!!

Bought a Stihl chainsaw online and picked up in store. Saturday morning and the store was busy but Charlie greeted me at the door. The chainsaw was up front, ready to go. Charlie clearly knew his stuff and demoed how to start the saw and keep it in tip top shape. Terrific experience and a great store with huge assortment including a high-end flooring showroom.

I purchased a mower last month at this ace store. It was very easy to do online and curbside pickup. My mower had issues over the weekend and the guys came, picked it up, fixed it and brought it back. This is exactly why I wanted to buy local. Awesome customer service. Thank you!

Been using these guys for a year for paint. They screwed up a batch, the only remedy they provided was to “add white and mix it yourself”. Customer service was great, all of sudden awe full. I will not be making any future purchases from this place.

I've past this store many times and finally decided to stop by. The store was very neat and well organized and I was surprised to see that they carried wallpaper. I thought my wallpaper days were over, but after taking a quick look at the samples I may have to give it some reconsideration. Maybe not the whole room, but maybe a wall or the trim here and there. While there I asked about a problem stripping some old paint off from the trim in my home. They also suggested a novel approach which I have decided to give it a try. While the initial cost is more than stripper, it so far appears to be cheaper in the long run and definitely a whole lot faster.Johnnie was very helpful and took the time to answer my many questions. Definitely a place to go if your doing any serious remodeling. They also have access to flooring and carry a decent selection of hardware.
