Not great for anxious animals. The staff are good, however the waiting room is extremely echo-y, and combine that with loud customers, barking dogs, and crying cats, it makes for a traumatizing experience for my already-anxious cat, even after she is in the examination room. Normal-level human voices are clearly hearable through doors, so you can imagine how loud barking or meowing sounds.I'd really like it if they put some rugs and/or acoustic tiles on the walls to try to mitigate this, or do cat-only days (like a second Friday of every month sorta thing), or any way to try to reduce the sound bleed from room-to-room. Without these things, each of my visits has been very chaotic and unpleasant.I hate to say it, but I think I will need to try other vets in the area. I appreciate how good the staff is here, but the noise level is almost too much for me, a human, to handle. Can't imagine how my cat feels. Maybe if they implemented some mitigation, I'd go back.Again, this is not a reflection of the staff, and if you have a brave animal who doesn't mind loud noises, barking, cat-crying, then this place could be fine. But for my anxious kitty, I think she needs a more chill place to get checked up on.

I highly recommend Goffstown Animal Hospital. The front office staff is both kind and loving to everyone that enters (both human and animal). Dr. Dekavis is sweet, understanding and so knowledgeable. He is beyond patient with my anxious Duke and Rufus. I am so grateful for their patience, compassion and fantastic work.

They have taken care of our dog Charlie. Now 10 years old after being on meds and in heart failure for 16 months I knew it was time.( shutting down)Many reasons, not another night in pain. I called at 320 pm and could barely talk they were understanding and helped with the process. End of day not enough staff and still made time. Thanks guys. All were so helpful! GAH has always been my go-to animal hospital. From growing up with our family dogs going there, to my own, I trust GAH to take the best care of my fur babies and love them like their own. I’m an incredibly *involved* pet parent, and have concerns/inquiries quite often just to be sure my sweet boy is on the up and up; GAH is always kind, supportive and genuine in their responses. Very grateful for the staff and all they do!

Dr Scott and Angela are a wonderful team. I feel very comfortable leaving my pups with them when they have had procedures done. So loving and caring which is what a pup mom needs when feeling stressed about her fur babies. Thank you!

We have been going to Goffstown Animal Hospital since 2018 and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the hospital and Dr. Scott. Our two Saint Bernards have been seeing her for routine visits since they were both puppies. She is very compassionate and patient with their large and in charge size. Throughout the years, we have never felt pressured to do something we didn’t feel comfortable doing and we are always given an honest and educated opinion about our beloved dogs well being and interest. The rest of the staff are equally as wonderful! Both of our dogs love getting their usual greeting from Karen at the front desk when they walk in and they love to return the hello to her. Our dogs mean the world to us and we are so happy to have found such a wonderful animal hospital to provide them care.

Dr. Scott is amazingly caring and thoughtful vet. I can tell she trying to do the best for the animal and it shows having a senior dog with mobility issues she always communicates and trys work with you to figure our best plan for your pet.

The staff at Goffstown Animal Hospital is always great! They try to get patients in quickly and truly care about your pets health. When our cat had an eye injury and they were unable to assist, they recommended a great local animal eye doctor and even setup an emergency appointment.

I've been taking my "children" here for over 10 years. When I had to say goodbye to Keesa, I asked that the doctor come to my house to put her at rest. Not the best day of my life but they understood how important it was for me to have Keesa home during her final moments. I will never forget that act of compassion.

I love the staff here! they're all kind and understanding. When i called in mild hysterics due to what i thought was an emergency with my cat, they were very helpful and talked me through it. Dont worry, cat is fine she is just a little jerk sometimes.

Brought my dog for ear drops. They couldn't get them in. Charged me for ear cleaning and ear drops? Asked to help clip his nails. Without even trying they suggested to walk him on pavement as a solution. Told me I needed a 1200 surgery, got a second opinion, that was not the case.I strongly suggest finding a different vet for your doggo. This place cares a lot more about money than your pets.

We chose Goffstown Animal Hospital due to how close it is from our home but our first visit was spectacular and we are so happy that we went with them. The location is just a nice addition now. Our rescue dog is very timid and afraid outside of our home and requires a lot of patience, they were very accommodating to this. The staff were patient, understanding, and worked wonderfully with out dog. She was a little stressed just because she was outside of our home but overall she had a wonderful experience and even wagged her tail a bit. We didn't experience any delays in our appointment but even if we did because of how well they worked with our pup we would have been okay with it. They were also great with us, answering our questions and providing us with a lot of very helpful information.

They saved my dog’s life! I kept bringing my 1 year old puppy to hooksett because he stopped eating and kept either throwing up or having diarrhea. They would only inject him with fluids and send him off, saying that he was still building his immune system or that he ate something that didn’t agree with him. I brought him here for a second opinion because he wasn’t improving at all and they found out within 5 minutes that he had two foreign objects in his GI Tract. We brought him to rockingham emergency for surgery and now he’s finally acting like his old self again ♥️

I am so impressed with the quality and care that Goffstown Animal Hospital has given my puppy. I have never even been inside due to the timing of getting this new puppy and all the COVID regulations happening, but have been impressed with their punctuality in coming out to the car regardless of the weather. Always smiling too. I can tell that whatever they do inside, it must be well done, as my 6.5 month old puppy hasn't had any aversions to going back for follow-ups. She always comes back to me the same way she leaves; excited and happily wagging her tail. She was recently spayed, and their concern and response time with questions I had regarding her post-op behaviors was impressive. The doctor listened to all of my concerns, and came up with reasonable answers and suggestions. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in quality and compassionate care for their animals.

When I had my first dog, Dr Lewis was the most patient and warm man with him. Now I have two dogs that are cared for by Dr Scott. The Techs are amazingly nice and. I recommend this pet hospital 100%!.

Yesterday we brought our older cat knowing we might have to put her down. The staff were wonderful and understand at this hard moment in our lives. We were walked through of what was going to happen, gave us plenty of alone time with our love one. They also handled her with the most care. This meant a lot to me and a big impact. We have one of our other animals that go to the goffstown animal hospital but I highly recommend this place.

My cat Leo has had urinary problems his entire life. Not only were the staff fast and reliable with his care when he had to go into surgery because of it, but they were so patient with me and so very careful and Kind with Leo. They explained to me and set me up with the care that he would need going forward in his life. A couple years after the visit, and he is having problems again. I’m making an appointment first thing in the morning. I know that the staff will help him without completely sucking me dry of every dollar I have. This practice has been in my family for years, I’ll never switch vets.

Everyone here is fantastic! My dog can be a handful, but she absolutely loved everyone she met, and the staff was very understanding of her dog agression. Dr. Koniers was amazing and extremely compassionate, and provided a ton of information and insight. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is amazing!
