Great staff and selection. I won't buy my dog food anywhere else. I had lost my debit card and needed a few days worth of dog food to hold my dog over until the new card came and the owner took great care of me. I just really appreciated the help when I needed it when they didn't have to.

A fantastic selection of limited ingredient pet foods. Raw pet food and grain fee pet foods. They have the best selection within a one hours drive. High quality pet food at reasonable and affordable price points. Don’t buy your loved pet box store or grocery store pet food full of animal byproducts thst causes cancers tumors and renal failure over time.Visit food for pets, a trusted pet store which offers high quality food sources for dogs and cats. They have been n business since the 1990s at this very location.

Hard to find my cat's brand of food in an actual store, but these guys have it; and it's cheaper than online. Great prices, friendly staff, high quality foods, and an awesome rewards program. Makes shopping local an easy choice

Jack and Food for Pets deserve more than 5 stars. Over the last 10 plus years Jack has never let me down with advice and guidance about nutrition for my dogs. Having a dog with special dietary needs is a challenge and through trial and error of a few brands we got it worked out. He knows the products, ingredients and manufactures and has high standards for the quality of products he carries. Lola picks out her own treat while I pick up her food.

They have a great selection of food, treats and accessories. Fair pricing compared to others we have bought from in the area. They do offer a frequent shopper program but it is on the customer to keep the coupons/receipts. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable. I even asked about a kennel we are looking at using. Parking was a little wonky, it says there is more behind but I parked in front of the bar next door since they were not open yet.

This place is the best for great advice and nutrition for your dog, cat or other pet! Jack is so knowledgeable and friendly.I fed my kitten their higher quality food and her sister, while thankfully healthy does not have the soft shiny fur my kitty does. My Mom fed her regular store bought. Visit this place! Your fur baby will thank you!

I'm not sure where these bad experiences are coming from, but I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Food For Pets. I went in 2 weeks ago, about 10 minutes before close. As a Manager of a retail establishment, I know this would scare or annoy most employees. There were two gentlemen behind the counter. One greeted me and wasn't very enthusiastic. I told him that I was looking for Blue Buffalo cat food and they were listed as a retailer. He brought me back, and I realized, that he wasn't being unenthusiastic or rude, he just wasn't a very lively person. He was INCREDIBLY helpful though. He showed me where everything was, explained my options, and then brought me back to the counter. At the counter I had a wonderful discussion with the other gentleman about my kitten and what/how to feed her properly. We discussed many things from vets having changed from years ago, to the enzymes that cats have to break down certain foods. He also informed me if we were looking for certain flavors for Dinah, he would order them in at no extra charge, just tacking them onto their next order. Both gentlemen were very cordial and while my first impression was a bit put off, I'm glad I stuck it through to see the wonderful customer service provided. Also the prices were amazing. Compared to Pet Smart, I saved several dollars and was able to stock up!I highly recommend giving the store a chance.

Great store, lots of organic pet food, as well as toys for both cats and dogs. They have some nifty cat trees, bit on the pricey side though. Didn't buy anything while i was there, since i only browsed the store. Highly recommend this location if you want to give your pets the best of the best.

The owner gave great as food recommendations for our very picky kitties. He walked us through the selection and we were able to find food they love! Also, thanks for the tips on how to transition them to a covered litterbox. It worked like a charm, even at their old age :)

This store has a decent selection of food toys and accessories. I really enjoyed that they have the Lupine product line also and that they offer the replacements at the store. However, I noticed that prices were quite different from product to product. For example, the basics (plain colored line, not designed products), a pink 3/4 9"-14" was dollar and change more than the blue 3/4 9"-14". Prices throughout the Lupine line seemed to be like this and that doesn't really make sense. Not sure if the items were mispriced or if they really are all different prices based on color? The total for my purchase did match the price listed on the tag but I did think it was strange they were all different prices despite being the same.

This place was great! The guy working there was super helpful for us and I liked the vibe in there. Much better to shop local! I also liked that they had locally made cat trees there, it's good to see!

So so. I like the location . I like the brands of food but why oh why are the prices aren't marked??? That's the biggest turn off and I wish you'd consider changing that. It's probably the biggest reason I don't go to thisstore. And I've never seen a sale. I'd rather travel further out if I can view prices.

I have been fortunate enough to have known Jack for years. He has guided me through the nutrition of 5 dogs and taught me the importance of diet for health and longevity. (I had two Great Danes love to be almost 13!). He is patient and kind and genuinely puts the dogs needs and well being above all else. I can walk into this store and even if I had no guidance in choosing a food it wouldn’t be all that bad because FFP only carries the best quality food so there is never a bad choice. One of the most convenient services offered (aside from an abundance of knowledge) is the nail trim service on Thursdays. My Border Collie fights me on nail trims but Jack has patiently and calmly earned his trust and allows him to do the deed stress free for all. This is one gem of a store with one gem of an owner. 🐶

My friend recommended this place for my dog and I as we prep for a thru hike. We went to Food For Pets yesterday and talked with Doug because he has a lot of knowledge about hiking and camping with dogs as he has had a lot of experience with his. He was super nice and informative! We even received free food samples and maps of dog friendly campsites and hiking trails. I am so thankful and happy our friend's recommendation as this is now one of our favorite places!

My boyfriend recently went to this store for the first time to check out the selection since we've been looking everywhere to blue buffalo cat food, however when he was checking out, the cashier asked him if "this was his in price range" which I found to be extremely rude and unprofessional. I've been a cashier before and this was just way out of line, I would NEVER say that to a paying customer. It's safe to say we will not be returning to the store

I think the gentleman that helped us was named Doug and he was such a nice guy. He walked us around to show us all we asked for explained the warranty in detail for the products we purchased and was so invested in what we were looking for. Great service

Food for pets is the best pet store around for all your pet needs. I get my raw pet food from here and they have a big selection of all kinds of pet food. They are very knowledgeable and friendly! The owner is very nice and is always super helpful. highly recommend !!

Didn't get much help from the man who was working that day on which foods were healthy for my old cat... Also most prices had to be looked up by the employee, they weren't marked on the shelf or product.
