My little brother & I stopped by Darbster today with some donation items we picked up. We had to put our family dog, Cash, down yesterday & we are just completely shattered. I wanted to donate to a local dog shelter, & try to make something good from a hard situation. The staff was kind enough to give us an opportunity to have some play time with one of their puppies, & it really put a smile on our faces. We loved Ruby, & we know she will find a loving family soon!❤️

Darbster was amazing with the adoption process for me & my son to find our forever pup, Peachy! They know all the dogs & their personalities on which ones could be a potential good fit for your family. Peachy & my son instantly made a special bond! It has been almost 3 weeks since we adopted her & it seems like she has always been in our home. I recommend anyone looking to adopt to go thru Darbster!

We have 2 dogs and both were rescued from Darbster Doggy!My fiancé rescued our 9-year-old black lab mix as a puppy (before we met) and we just recently rescued an almost 2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix!We could not be happier with both of our pups and how well they fit into our lives.The employees at Darbster were very good about making sure we were fully informed on the Belgian Malinois mix and all that comes with the breed so we were confident we knew what to expect and could give her all the love and training she could need!If you are ever thinking of getting a pup definitely check out Darbster Doggy!

I adopted a dog, Vito, from Darbster this past week! He is a love and the person at the front desk, Bex, was a wonderful support in helping me. They suggested Vito to me even though I did not request and it was a more than perfect match! He is loved by me, my partner and dog, Yoshi. It’s like a dream having worked with those at Darbster, making sure he had the right home and having recommended him in the first place. I didn’t initially plan to adopt this week but I certainly am glad I did and they made it so supportive! Thank you for everything! We couldn’t be happier! It’s been two days and he fits right into our household.

This was my first time adopting from a rescue. Darbster Doggy made it so easy for me to find my newest boy Andy. He was the sweetest boy, and I knew right away that he would be my best pal. The staff at Darbster Doggy made sure that I was all set up for my first night at home with Andy, and they made the process quick and painlessly easy. After meeting Andy on Tuesday I was able to bring him home Friday night. They did a great job of taking care of him while he was there, and they were able to answer all my questions about him and reassure me that he would be a good fit at my home. So far it has been a week and Andy has already filled that missing piece in my home. Thanks for such amazing work Darbster Doggy. I would highly recommend checking this place out. It was clean and all the dogs I saw seemed happy and well taken care of.

Absolutely the BEST rescue facility anywhere! All of the staff is so very kind, extremely patient and provide loving care to all the animals and extend a warm welcome to all who walk through their doors. The facility was clean and the animals seemed all so happy. I was lucky to find my new fur baby and give him his forever home. We are bonded for life! I spent the day at Darbster Doggy volunteering and I was extremely impressed. The animals are well taken care of and the kennels were extremely clean. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do and really care for the animals! I will definitely be going to Darbster Doggy when I am ready to adopt my next dog.

I adopted my dog Chestnut (previously Fernando) from Darbster. The process was straight forward and when I called to ask some questions, they were amazingly friendly.And when I went to meet Chestnut for the first time, I could see that he was well taken care of at Darbster facility. They were very honest in answering all the questions about Chestnut. Did I mention that they made it so easy and painless? This was my first time adopting a dog and I'm so happy that it was with Darbster and that it went so well.If need arise where I want to adopt another dog or need to board Chestnut, I will be returning to Darbster.

My first time to ever adopted a dog ❤️ I absolutely love him. After my 16 year Chihuahua had passed I had gone down into a deep depression. An a friend at work had told me. Maybe I should adopt? She told me this place. An I looked into it. An.. I fell in Love with Tanner , which is renamed Scooby. He had definitely patch up the pain I had, after my lost. I wanted to thank you!!! Guys for letting me have him in my life ❤️❤️

We were very pleased with our experience of adopting a dog from Darbster Doggy. The employee we worked with happily brought us several dogs we were interested in meeting. We were able to spend time with each one in the fenced area (except the one that had a medical hold). She asked appropriate questions of us regarding what we were looking for (age, weight, energy level, etc). She did not get frustrated with us for wanting to meet another dog, then another. We had filled out an application, which was approved previously, so the adoption process moved along quickly and smoothly. We were provided with a folder containing our new dog's information, which our vet called "exceptional, precise and complete". The facility was clean and well kept. We highly recommend adopting from Darbster Doggy.

The people that work there are fantastic and caring. They really care about the well being of thier animals. I adopted a dog a week ago and they call to check up and make sure everything is going OK. I so appreciate the help and time they gave me. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering to adopt. You will have the greatest experience.

Darbster Doggy is a wonderful rescue! You can tell the staff loves every dog very much. I adopted my dog from them 7 months ago and I can't thank Darbster Doggy enough for bringing him into my life. The daycare looks like lots of fun for the dogs as well, with indoor and outdoor spaces to play.

I am a volunteer and adopter of Dole from Darbster, a little terrier mix who I recently added to my household - a little sweetie. Everyone at Darbster works very hard to do well by the dogs and find them good homes. They are always trying to help as many dogs as possible and also ensure they receive great care.

We rescued our 11 month old mix, Elwood (formerly Kiwi) from Darbster at the begining of March and I can't say enough good things about the experience. I had originally come in during walk in hours to see what dogs were available with a couple in mind. After hearing what I was looking for in a companion they suggested meeting a dog I hadn't considered before- it was love at first sight! Darbster was up front and honest about Elwood's minor medical issues and worked with us until he was cleared and healthy enough to come home with us in MA. Their team was responsive to our questions, helped schedule an additional visit so that everyone at home could meet our guy, and never made us feel rushed or pressured while we decided. Our lives are so much better for having Elwood with us- in the future if we are able to add more furry family members to our home they will be our first call. What they do to help dogs in other parts of the country that deal with over crowding and kill shelters is so important, and I'm extremely glad a place like this exists in this area. We feel extremely lucky that Elwood found his way home to us with their help.

Visited Darbster on a whim and met the sweetest boy, Roger. Fell in love on the first day and brought him home a week later. Darbster approved me quickly and followed up with as well. They’re all extremely nice and excited for us. Thank you so much.

It's been a couple of months now since I got Sinai. She's amazing. Cuddles with me in bed. We give each other loves. My baby girl Sinai is the best thing that ever happened to me. She sleeps in my lap sometimes. Omg she's so cute. Yeah Sinai never gets old. She's so cute.

Wonderful staff who truly care about every single one of their dogs! Answered all our questions and matched us perfectly with our forever boy! We loved them so much that we decided to go with them for doggy daycare and they do absolutely wonderful staff is always thrilled to see him and he’s always happy and tired when he comes home. We had a great experience adopting from Dabster Doggie. Met two wonderful dogs from Florida and decided to keep them together. Bonnie (formerly Bunni) and Gypsy are sweet wonderful dogs. Dabster Doggie was very good to deal with, quick and efficient at application approval and provided more info on the dogs than we thought we'd get. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Okay well first off let me say I would not want that job, I think the staff do the best they can to help people who come in to find a dog They are not miracle workers nor are they fortune tellers. Sometimes the way the dog is in the shelter may not be the way they are at a persons home. Or at that matter your dog maybe good on the meet at the shelter and not so good with the new pet at home. Which is what happened to us. Unfortunately we had to bring a dog back the very next day due to our own dog not getting along at all. I think call backs could be faster and yes sometimes things aren’t clear and miscommunication happens. But they are good people trying to do a good job probably on limited resources My story luckily turned out happy ! They worked with us to find another dog that fit our family and we where also offered to meet with a trainer if we had problems with our dog accepting the new dog. I think they price the dogs fairly, it’s a rescue it does cost money to run. The dog you adopt from them is fully vetted , microchipped and spayed/neutered. If you were to get a free dog from someone you probably would have to pay upwards of $600 and more to be sure it’s fixed, flea free and healthy. I definitely would recommend Darbster. I found it clean and the dogs seemed well cared for. I would adopt from them again!
