Both my wife a daughter fell on the ice outside of this store. It was brought to the attention of the cashier who gave nothing but attitude. Claimed nothing could be done about it. It was suggested to at least put out a sign so folks could see there was a slip hazard and was blown off. Everytime I go in to this store it's the same cashier and he is always rude. If you hate it there so much find something that will make you happy but stop taking it out on the customers. Side note, I agree with other posts on here. Store is a mess and impossible to navigate. I have stopped going here for above reasons.

This DG location is a TOTAL MESS. I only come here because it's really close to where I live. I've been to other DG locations that are clean and have nice employees. Here usually 40-50% of the aisles are blocked with new boxes merchandise to put out. I really believe it's a fire hazard, if something ever happens in this store people will be hurt because there are so many aisle blockages. Don't even get me started on the employees, there are 2 new gentleman that are nice and helpful but the rest are rude, and you can tell don't want to be there. It's such an awful place to shop but I do it because the prices are good and product variety is usually good if you can get to it.

I’d give it a 0 star rating if I could. Completely unorganized and can’t navigate due to boxes blocking every isle. They rarely stock shelves and prefer to leave it as long as possible. They close early every night without any warning. The employees never know anything and half are rude from the moment you walk in the store. They might as well shut down

Yep pretty much hit or miss on product availability. Always new employees store looks like a second hand thrift you know the kind you find on pleasant st in Claremont. The manager is doing her best I have asked her directly. Theyshould have a shift dedicated to just stocking and product reset after it's closed . They cannot seem to keep on top of delivery. Beats driving to Claremont for a few items

Always an issue when I shop charlestown location. Prices DO NOT match what they have listed on the shelvesEVERYTHING is more from just a few cents to dollars more. use the app to price check as you shop to get accurate prices.. if use the app for THEIR digital coupons though don't bother shopping here. This specific location for whatever reason the app coupons are hit or miss as to whether or not they'll work & depending on the cashier as to whether or not they're willing to take 5 literal seconds and 10 steps to the managers door so SHE can resolve the issue & honor the digital coupons and that again is hit or miss. Tonight it was a miss. This location is also one of the WORST DG locations I've seen as far as NO access to some entire isles"Home" section, paper towels & toilet paper sections are usually loaded with carts stacked with stock taller then me. It's like walking through a hoarders house.

There is no order in this store. Everything is stuffed in so tightly together and Plan O Grams are so mixed up you have to spend twice the time looking for items. The Clearance items are organized like a Goodwill store. The employees are loud and can be heard talking all over the store.

The store is small but there's still a ton of stuff. It is great for holiday decorations and a late night snack run. Some food stuff is expensive but it is generally moderately priced. The store brand isn't usually too bad but is hit and miss.

Always a waiting line. Staff outside smoking. Aisle cluttered with carts of stock that's not in the shelves. Outside parking lot is full of cigarette butts. Disappointing store most of the time. Some of the staff are really rude.

I feel most Dollar General stores are still overpriced on many items. You still have to be a smart shopper. They'd get 5stars if their pricing was more in line as a discount store.

I use to think a lot of this DG but...today my husband and I stopped in first thing in the morning while our car was having its oil changed next door. We work nights and hadn't had much sleep at this point. As we are shopping my husband remembered he wanted to remind the garage to turn the oil warning off in the car so he left me shopping in the store to go tell them. I then here one of the 3 employees say "its weird how he came in the store for a while walking all around but didn't buy anything?" The other employees then pretty much accuses him of stealing. I'm looking down at the cart that I have half full at this point about in tears and mad. (We have spent a lot of money at this location) when my husband came back. I explained to him why I was upset and he left it up to me if I wanted to finish shopping, just check out with what we had, or leave and buy nothing. I decided to just check out with what I had but....I will never return or give them any of my business again.

Great store, awesome customer service, great variety of products for your everyday needs, conviently placed. Good bang for your buck. Very clean and organized, best place to buy cigarettes.

Decent. Cleanliness lacks, but you can still find your basics at this store. Vitamins are inexpensive, just make sure they are not out of date.

Easy parking, convenient, and helpful. A bit cluttered at times with overflow into the isles, but generally easy to navigate.Some convenient food items, toiletries, and goods found in most dollar generals.

Just a typical Dollar General. I can say that the staff is friendly and their prices are pretty comparable to everywhere else close by. Great place to find clearance at the end of each holiday!!

Handy to have this store around. Run in quick for most daily needs. When I first heard it was coming in and I thought oh no, but now I think its handy and it provides jobs to locals and thats always a good thing.

I would ha given more but the lady's that work hear need to learn how to bag YOU CANT PUT EVERYTHING IN ONE BAG. no matter if I ask or not they still PUT it all in one. When I asked she gave me a huge flack for it. Just please. If I ask you to not PUT it all in the same bag DONT.

I love dollar general it is the one place you can go where it is inexpensive and more of a variety of merchandise. Well before of course covid-19 but that cant be helped.
