We live in Sicily and have relatives who live in Massachusetts and Barnstead. While visiting in Barnstead we decided to take a chance and walked into this place. Tucked in back was a pizzeria and we decided from the aroma it was a good choice. Our pizza was ordered with light sauce and crispy!!!Let me tell you something!!!! The pizza was spectacular! If I wasn’t embarrassed I would have ate the entire thing. Perfection In Every way!La pizza era deliziosa! Complimenti!Nate was the pizza maker and I must say the pizzas we ate at Polcari’s in Saugus, Ma and Santarpio’s could learn a thing or too! Thank you!

The staff were very friendly and the owners made sure to say hello and ensure we were very well taken care of. It was a pleasure to eat here and I’d highly recommend this place! The food was great!! The homemade pizza dough is delicious.

I've been driving out of my way for their delicious pizza for years now and i will never stop. My favorite pizza in the area and it's reasonably priced and the fella who works the counter and prepares the food is very good at his job and is very kind. Plus they have very good sodas!

Got a couple of Slices to go. Was good pizza! A little pricey, but prob cause of the food tax. This is NOT fast food cardboard & ketchup/Tomato Paste pizza! Cool little place. They also have (Calico) fudge as well.

Small town country style store.Most of the staff is always friendly.The pizza cost of a fortune and was total let down30 for a large extra cheese that had no extra cheese and 12 pepperonis..yes we counted .Thin crust but not crispy

White Buffalo has definitely been a frequent in our household since moving to Center Barnstead 2.5 years ago. Their pizza is delicious and their unique specialties are interesting combos. Their buffalo chicken tenders and Vesuvius calzone are my faves. They are very hit or miss with the level of customer service you get, whether delivery or pickup. Not sure if they are just less polite to locals (which makes no sense) but it’s definitely often enough that if they weren’t 10 minutes from our house we wouldn’t get them as often. Regardless of this, I would definitely recommend if you want local and tasty.

AN UNASSUMING GEM! Pulling up to this quirky hole-in-the-wall spot after catching a glimpse of their larger-than-life billboards was just what we needed after a long drive. Taking the form of a general store-esq market, the White Buffalo Trading Post offers far more than convenience and salvation. It offers everything from subs, pasta, and sandwiches, to novelties and a live pet cockatiel. The calzones and melts are phantom-gourmet worthy, and I can’t complain about the cheese fries either. You can’t ask for more than convenience, great food, and a fun stop along the way!

New to the area so my wife and I decided to try this place out. We got 2 grinders yesterday and they were AWESOME!! She got an Italian Meatball and I got a Real Italian. Both were fresh and tasty and the bread was soft and chewy on the inside but had a nice crust on the outside. Perfect. Today, we ordered a Town Clerk specialty pizza and the results were just as good. The crust was nicely charred and crunch and the toppings were fresh and didn't overpower the rest of the pizza.We’ll definitely be going back to this place many more times in the future. Bravo!

Ordered our food and was told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. Strolled around store and upstairs, went back to check on food and was asked what kind of vehicle we had and they would bring it out to us when done. This is during COVID so we understood they don’t want a lot of people in the store. But maybe if they were wearing masks or gloves they wouldn’t of had to ask us to wait outside. Only 1 other customer in store at the time. Waited for 20 minutes and went back to find my food done and sitting waiting for me behind the counter. All our food was cold. Nothing worse than cold soggy fries. Who has ever ordered a pasta dinner and it has not come with either a salad or a slice of bread with that for $11 what a rip off. Staff very unfriendly when my husband went in to complain. I would not recommend this place. Spent $80 there between the restaurant and the store and to be treated so rudely. Sometimes restaurants it’s not always about the food and how good it is it’s about the friendly service and atmosphere around and this please definitely does not have it.

My first time ordering (which i mentioned) I got a large and small pizza, salad, Italian sub, small fry and 5 mozz sticks… no mention of my total on their end- I go buy lunch, check my card the next day and I paid over $80 for that?! I’ve never spent so much money at a pizza joint in my life and find this place WAY OVER PRICED. Quality of food wasn’t even good and a fair portion was thrown out. I will not go back.

We specifically drove two hours from another state to try this raved about pizza.The pizza was worth the two hour adventure drive but the hospitality was not. We were charged for cups to drink our 2 liter beverage from while dining in. We first asked the staff in the general store if we could take the cups from the coffee bar and they said yes, suddenly we were being aggressively addressed by the pizza counter staff to pay for the cups. I also had an Iced Tea we told them about and suddenly that was being addressed table side by the pizza counter staff. We had no intentions of not paying for our goods and asked permission before taking. I let the fact that my Eggplant GF pizza was made into a wrap go without comment or complaint, I guess I have more courtesy than they do. Food is a 4 star.

Food is awful! 1st time I got chicken, potato logs, and meatball sub. Meatballs weren't good and the potato logs were as hard as a rock. That same day my coworker got 3 drinks that should have came up to about $5 the kid behind the counter tried to charge him almost $10 until my friend corrected him. Next time I went there I got a pizza with chicken on it. The pizza wasn't good and I chewed on a bone that was in the chicken all while this grubby looking, gun toting, creepy looking guy keep staring at me weirdly from behind the counter. I assume he's the owner. Last time I went there I got the marinated steak tip sub. I asked for onions, peppers and mushrooms with french fries it came up to over $20 which I found alarming. He told me it's $3 for the mus pep and onion. The sub had 3 small sliced of peppers, a few onions and 4 small slices of mushrooms but the worst part was the whole sub was completely soaked with a gallon of marinade making it uneatable.

Reasonable prices, great food, friendly service...and they offer homemade cookies, fudge and pies.. aswell as ice cream AND fried chicken! The potato wedges are monstrous 👀👀 What more can you ask for?? They literally have all your needs in a 1 stop shop convenience! I recommend the USPS Pony Express and the Tuscan stuffed pizza 👍🏻

We go to Barnstead often house hunting. We see their billboard often and decided to check it out. The pizza was amazing and the staff wicked polite. I loved the general store and my boyfriend checked out the gun store, which he loved. Very cool place. Will definitely go back.

Chicken tenders were good and still warm after waiting 2 Hours for it to be delivered- told at 5pm it would take 45 to an hour, it arrived at 7. I would have gone and picked it up, no problem, if I had known. Same thing happened last time. Plus ordered ceasar salad- they forgot dressing and it was very small, and the cheese was melted on the salad....Pizza is good.

Have ordered delivery twice from here and both times it was kind of sad. The food came pretty quickly but once we opened it, a couple toppings were switched or wrong on our subs and only one of the subs was cut in half? The biggest offense is that the sub rolls are so large it makes it seem like the normal portion of food inside is barely anything and it’s kind of like just eating flavored bread.

The calzone was so undercooked that the dough rose on the way home. Was able to salvage to be edible baking in the oven at 275 for an hour.It looked and tasted amazing I just wish it was fully cooked. I understand calzones are usually a little doughy but this was 100% raw in spots.

There pizza is the best I have EVER had. We always order both the BBQ chicken and the Gagnor (white bianco) and they are consistently amazing. The crust is perfect and they are generous with toppings. This pizza place was actually voted the best pizza in a small town in a magazine and I will see why!

Horrible customer service. Under cooked food. And food poisoning. TO 3 PEOPLE!That was my experience with a group of friends after dropping over $100 there for dinner for all of us. My friends calzone was raw. I had ordered a chicken wrap that was contaminated and got incredibly sick. And neither mine or my wife's experience when she went to complain about these things were met with real customer concern.

The food was horrible but to make the experience worse. Not only did the food arrive late and cold. The bill should of been $32.00 Yet they changed our card for $99.99. When we called they said the didn't know how to refund the card. So we filed a dispute with the credit card company. White Buffalo responded by calling the police who came to our house questioning us about theft of services. We showed the officers the documentation of the dispute and explained the situation. Then I received a called from the owner cursing me out over the phone. This place is unprofessional, disrespectful, scammers who sell horrible food! Do not go to this place! The barnstead country store / the back room (restaurant portion of the store) is way better! Great food, great people and most important their honest!!

Pizza place doesn't really seem interested in serving customers until you walk away. Stood around the counter for a couple mins looking at the menu, went to place an order and the lady answers phone, okay I can wait, finished the conversation a minute later and then walks away... decided they weren't worth my money and walked away, at that point another employee realized this and asked if he could assist me but I politely declined. We got some chicken from up front and the girl was polite and helpful but the chicken was sub par. Won't be coming back here

Worst customer service ever! I ordered pizza and the kid who took the order seemed like he had no idea about anything. I asked how many slices the 20" pizza was and his answer was " I dont know". He then paused and waited until I had to say "well can you find out?". Furthermore I asked if I order half a topping and on the other half a different topping is that one or two topping charge? he said its one topping. I said fine, than I will take half pineapple and half garlic. When the driver arrived, my pizza order was $13over the expected price tag. I asked how so? I got charged for two toppings plus a delivery charge. how does that even come to $13? I called and spoke to some woman who was sooooo rude and condescending. She was not budging from the prices. She kept saying that is how it is. blah blah blah. unbelievable. The pizza boxes were smashed and the toppings were stuck to the lid. The pizza was cold. The smell coming from the drivers car was that of marijuana and gave my daughter asthma since it was right in front of her window. I am so pissed. This stupid woman on the phone had no decency to apologize, or give me any kind of restitution. She had the gall to say "just give the pizza back to the driver" My God. what the hell. I will never give them my business again!!!!

The manager was running back to front making food and taking care of incoming customers. I'd love for someone like that to work for me. Motivated, happy hardworking and he truly cared!The store is what a real country store is and should be. I look forward to spending more money there soon!
