We had a fun morning at Charmingfare Farms Pumpkin Festival! Walking in our 2.5 yr old kept saying "I'm so excited, I'm SO excited!" as she was looking around at all the animals and pumpkins! The tractor ride was long enough to make it worth it but short enough where it didn't get boring for the kiddo! Our daughter loved all the animals and even the adults had a good time feeding them!100% recommend taking a trip to the farm! Such a cute family place.

Visiting Santa's Christmas Wonderland has become one of our family's favorite winter traditions! The farm has so many animals and my kids really enjoy feeding the goats. There is so much to do so be sure to dress warm! The horse drawn hayride/sleigh ride through the woods to the North Pole is so enchanting. You pass animals and festive holiday displays. Then you arrive at the North Pole and can meet Santa and see his real reindeer. Mrs. Claus will give you cookies and hot cocoa and you can warm up by a fire. When you're ready to head back you get to enjoy a tractor ride and then spend more time with the animals. There is a really cute gift shop as well!

It was very nice.Lots of animals to feed. Goats, cows, horses, and sheep. The trail ride was nice. Little short and slow but it is for beginners, so ats to be expected. The horses are very well behaved and the trail guides are 👌awesome, experienced and very nice.It made for a relaxing day with my son😌

The drive to the farm was great. The farm is very large for what they have. You need to do a lot of walking when you are there so pick up some water before you start your walk around. The only thing I did not like about the farm was the price. $20 per person to walk around is a bit much on top of getting feed for the ones you can feed. ( there is not a lot) we only got 2 and it cost $10 each. $8 if you get online. For the money I would have liked more of a tour kind of walk around so we did not miss anything and the kids would learn something when we are there. But in all it was a good family fun day.

It's in the name really. They do an incredible job keeping the farm charming, the animals were so friendly. The kids loved feeding the pigs and goats. The reindeer were their absolute favorite though. We took a carriage to the north pole and Santa and Mrs Claus were there. She was passing out hot cocoa and cookies. There was a fire for s'mores too! The little shop in the way out is cute and full of small town charm.

My family and I were really excited to visit the farm, but we did not know that we had to pay a separate private price to have the ride on horse drawn Carriage over the tractor as we most certainly would have chosen the horse-drawn carriage which we thought we were going to be transported on.We took the tractor, and the back part was the bumpiest for those who may be sensitive to the hard bumps. It was ok. If there's been any sort of precipitation definitely wear boots we were in sneakers that got soaked in 4-in deep mud (lesson learned) there were 2 bonfires going near the Sugar Shack unfortunately the mud around it made it very difficult to roast the s'mores we bought in the store, we were encouraged by staff not to buy things until we came back so we didn't have to carry them around. When we did get back, the syrup was sold out completely. Needless to say, there were some upset children. They were upset when the carriage driver told them its for a special group (words could have been chosen more carefully, as I then heard "why aren't we special" from my son. Otherwise, the silver dollar pancake and syrup and hot chocolate were great. We were also very disappointed to learn that there was no syrup left to be sold, so we couldn't even purchase any at the shop, a large part of the reason we went there as well was to purchase syrup from the farm, and the appointment was at 1:00 p.m. Although I did learn on our way up that there's many other sugar Shacks to try in the area.

Awesome time. Even though there was no snow we had a great time on our horse drawn carriage ride. Lots of things to do and animals to see and feed. Great store with a great half off Xmas sale going on that I took advantage off. Shout out to Jenny our great horse carriage driver.

Not bad. Signed up for the logging sled ride through the woods. Unfortunately all the snow melted. Went on a horse pulled carriage. Still fun! Got dropped off by the fire pit (s'mores kits cost $10). Two ferral / barn cats friendly as can be tried to eat our chocolate!Would like to check it out more in a warmer season

Everything WAY overpriced ($35 for a QT of maple syrup, everybody else around $21) farm animal stalls are nice area but zoo part is downright depressing. Overall way to tourist trappy. Many better farms / sugar shacks to visit on area

For the price they charged, I was extremely disappointed.Pros: feeding the goats was fun for the kids, pony ride was okay even though the staff was late, reindeers were cute, staff was friendly.Cons: Most of animals do not look like they are well taken care of...for example...small chained cages for singular animals like the cougar, lynx, fox, etc...they looked miserable and probably lonely. The duck cage had gross water that they were drinking from. The place is just pretty run down and not well maintained. We were excited to see the camel, bear, and wolves, but did not see any. No idea if they were hiding or just not there. Their envirmonts are not easy to see in and you can't even walk around themWe paid $100 for the 5 of us. I would not come here again...even if it was free. I really hope they close for good so these animals can be placed in better homes. The stone zoo for example is very well maintained and their animals seem like they are in better environments.

Such a super fun place for the kids for Christmas! Cute animals for the kids to see too. The horse ride into the woods is a bit pricey.. but worth the money. Everyone I saw seemed to really enjoy it.. me included! Their Santa was an organic experience.. not commercial at all. Super special! And the whole staff was willing to snap family photos for you. Highly recommend it!

Santa's Big Party was a perfect family event. We were at the farm for about two hours. It was a cold day between bundling up and the camp fires they had going (and of course the hot chocolate) we were plenty warm. We will defiantly be going back here again in the summer for some one the warm weather activities. The farm is easy to get to and there was plenty of parking. We liked that we could go at our own pace, because visiting the animals was almost as exciting at meeting Santa. We also liked that Santa had a nice "outdoorsy" outfit on rather then the standard red suit. Looking forward to going back!

This place is a mixed bag. The farm animals are lots of fun for smaller kids, especially the goat area where they can feed and pet the goats. The tractor ride is included with the price of admission. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a picnic area, so you can bring a lunch or snacks with you.The only downside is the “zoo” section with wild animals. They have 2 black bears, a wolf, coyote, mountain lion, etc. These animals are kept in very small chain link enclosures, with very little stimulation. This part is pretty depressing.

A friend and I went to enjoy a horseback trail ride last Friday. Upon arriving to the farm, we stumbled upon the store which was beautifully stocked with lovely things - candles, snacks, holiday gems, etc. While waiting for our guide, we looked at the pumpkins and got a kiss from the black llama! Olivia, our guide, was fantastic. Her love for the farm and horses was beyond measure. She attended to every detail, taking time to get us acquainted with our horses (Casper and Jake), talking through safety precautions and getting us up on our horses (with grace and no embarrassment :) ). The ride was gorgeous!! The trail was beautiful and the foliage, lovely. The horses were so well mannered and knew the trail like the back of their hand, so very little effort was required to keep them on course! My horse, Casper, was a love who enjoyed stopping for occasional snacks along the trail! This experience was wonderful and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy some fresh air, commune with nature and experience the joy horses bring. Thanks for a wonderful time!

I thought this event would be a little more enticing for our grandchildren - when we arrived at the North Pole we received cookies & hot chocolate from Mrs Claus - Santa was not very sociable and we expected a little more Christmas spirit - maybe some real elves ??? Then, when visiting the alpacas my daughter-in-law & granddaughter got spit at - please put a sign somewhere warning people that the alpacas may spit ‼️

I went last spring and while I wasn't overly impressed, I thought it was still a decent place to bring my daughter. Well we went this past weekend and it's really gone downhill. Many of the small animal enclosures were empty with some looking quite destroyed. It did look like trees had fallen on them but a note on the website indicating some animals would not be available would have been nice. Heck, I would have even taken a sign on the enclosure explaining the situation. I also had to pay $22 for my 2 1/2 year old which seems crazy, especially since we were there barely an hour. I'm glad I didn't purchase a ride pass online because when we got there, they were not operating. My daughter did enjoy the animals she saw and didn't see to mind all the missing ones but I was pretty disappointed.Oh...it's June and they still had their Xmas decorations up with lots of tall grass around them. It overall just felt like a neglected place. Could be due to staffing issues just like everywhere else, we only saw 2 employees.

My family and I love this local farm. My kids love it here and it's 15 minutes from our home which makes it a very easy fun day on my wife and I. This past weekend the kids got to see the Easter bunny, get some fun stuffed eggs, tractors rides and play with baby animals. We will be returning when it warms up. Always clean, always fun, and staff is always friendly. Thanks for the family fun.

Grandkids had a great time today. They loved the animals including the beautiful barn cats. Enjoyed the tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch. Would recommend this to anyone with small children
