Love this place. Dr Hutchins put my 16.5 year old girl down. He explained everything so clearly to my granddaughter about the cancer.The day he helped her cross rainbow Bridge, he came out to the truck and did it in my granddaughters lap. She loved Miss Stacey so much ,and he just talked to my granddaughter and kept her so calm. We love you all. Thank you for all your help and caring ways.

I love this vet. I had an emergency with my dog. Her hips or back dislocated which I guess happens with dogs who have long back like a dachshund. She was pretty much screaming with every movement. I tried a vet close to us but the refused to take her even as she was screaming. So I called here and they took her in 2 hours. I pulled out $1000 from my savings not know how much it was cost. They were very helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. They told me everything and after examining her gave me steroids and pain medication. Those two prescriptions and the exam only cost me $100. Very grateful to them for helping my baby out and she healed within a couple weeks. Back to her wiggle butt self. I moved away but will definitely drive the hour just to go back when I need to

Can not speak highly enough of the service provided by Cardigan Vet. They are caring and compassionate and have our dogs best interest at heart. The staff(office manager, vet tech, vet and many more that I have not mentioned) are always willing to help over the phone and are quick to set up appointments. They were everything we needed when saying goodbye to one of our pups; gentle and supportive. We will only bring our pets to Cardigan Vet as they are just the best!

Anyone with small dogs please be very careful when picking up your flea and tick medication. My dog was given medication for 120 pound dog when he weighs less than 25 pounds. I have ran into many problems with the front desk since the situation so please be aware of what they give your dog. This makes your dog very sick and can kill your dog, so please pay attention and be aware.

I don't know the techs name but I was so impressed with her bed side manner. Everyone including the Doctor was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend their services to anybody who needs it.

Another great experience at Cardigan Veterinary Clinic. We are part-timers in NH, but needed a vet urgently last summer when my dog encountered a porcupine. It was late in the day and I called Cardigan because I had heard they were really good. I was afraid it would be too late to see someone without an appointment, and not being a client, but instead they told me to head right over. They were able to remove some very tricky quills embedded in the roof of my poor dog’s mouth and gave him a short acting sedative to keep him comfortable and taken care of before closing time. Their responsiveness was an absolute godsend as quills continue to penetrate deeper with every hour. Today Cardigan came through again with another emergency as my dog spiked a very high fever and heart rate overnight following some swim time and drinking of lake water. They took us immediately and without an appointment due to the urgency and helped to stabilize him. During COVID, vets are booked for weeks in advance, and and other vets would have likely referred us to an emergency clinic. But Cardigan is here for the animals, and from the front desk to the techs to the doctors, they are awesome- an outstanding operation - the real deal. Thank you, Cardigan!

They have taken amazing care of all of my babies (and there are a lot) for almost 20 years....I would not trust them to anyone else but Cardigan Vet Clinic....but not only are they wonderful to my animals they are compassionate and caring towards us as pet owners too and make sure that we are comfortable and well informed

We have been bringing our fur babies to Dr. Hutchinson for over 30 years! Time flies! He and his team over the years have been unflinching in their practices and high standard of care. Emergencies, real or perceived, are handled with the kind of care and compassion we expect of any medical professional. 5 stars, for sure!

I would give a negative star if I could to a business that refuses service to my daughter for something that happened between Cardigan and her (now separated)spouse.I bought my grand-daughter a rabbit for Christmas and it needed its nails trimmed, so my daughter called 5/3/18 to make an appt and was refused service becauseof something that happened long ago. Her husband thought he was being overcharged for services and decided to take their (now dead dog) and follow her friend to her new veterinary place of employment. You would think this business would relish a new client. Instead my daughter is refused service for something her husband did with a different pet. Seems this behavior is not of a business owner, its for the schoolyard. BBB will have a complaint.

They were willing to see my pet when no other vet in the area would. As soon as I called, they got me right in for an early appointment. I couldn’t of had a better experience! Everything was pleasant and they did such a great job handling my situation with compassion and honesty.

‘cardigan veterinary clinic’ Removed 2 baby teeth from my Yorky/Chihuahua 6 lb puppy, Ruby. All went well with kind service and excellent results. Definitely recommend this Veterinary Clinic.

I wasnt a client and Dr. Hutchinson called me back on a Saturday because my rabbit was in stasis and neither SAVES or CAVES emergency would take " pocket pets" . I am now a client . I was so appreciative that he took the time to help me with what to do because GI stasis can kill a rabbit in 24 hrs and I wouldn't have been able to see anyone until MONDAY.
