We made a gradual transition to Brookline Animal hospital from another clinic nearby (with each new addition) It has been such a relief to finally have a staff we love, trust and feel completely comfortable with.No shaming here!Most notable, we made the decision to have our High anxiety Husky spayed here rather than a cheaper spay/neuter clinic for the personal care and attention she would receive.That was indeed the best choice, we couldn’t have been more pleased and at ease with the way they compassionately handled our specific needs! Cost ended up cheaper than quoted and so worth it!Love the staff, keep on being amazing!Thank you !!!

Awesome office highly recommend! My three dogs loved everyone there. Friendly staff and always helpful. Unfortunately moved further away and was just too hard to get there otherwise I would still be a client there. Also super easy to have records transferred to the new office.

Very thorough vet! Very nice people there and very patient. I love how they have a list of things they’d like to do, but leave it up to you & what you can afford to do, then go from there. There is no question or doubt as to what they’d like to do and what is wrong, also give you follow up appointment if you’d like.

I used Brookline Animal hospital for convenience really. It's close to me, and I hadn't heard anything negative. I'm however giving the hospital 3 stars. My dog had no issues going into the appointments, he was just to get a check up, and introduction. It turned into the vet suggesting I change his thyroid medication completely, that he had been on for nearly 3 years, the dose and time of day. I found it odd but went along with it. So he needed bloodwork to see how his levels were. Upon second arrival of blood work day, my dog previously had some bouts of diarrhea- unrelated to thyroid- it was a feed problem. We were put in an exam room, and he was taken from me by a different associate, who then brought him into another room, with 1-2 other people and I had to listen to them struggle and basically torture my dog into trying to get blood. Finally they gave in, and I heard them say "you wanna go back and see mom? Why don't we do that" and he returned to me frantic with a soft muzzle on. I understand dogs bite, so I wasn't annoyed, it was more irritated they felt the need to draw blood in private when I've NEVER had this happen. They proceeded to continue to try, and he struggled and relieved himself on the floor. By this time, the vet came in to tell the girls to stop. I was relieved for us both. There was a miscommunication between the vet and I, that if we needed X-rays he would need sedation, not that he would for bloodwork. Clearly, going forward this was now going to be a problem for the dog. We went forward with the next "procedure" - to see how his diarrhea turned out since it came up so abruptly. So, one antibiotic, and then sedation, bloodwork, THEN we found a flea🤦🏼‍♀️we treated for fleas (even though he has a Seresto collar)then we tried a second antibiotic with no resolution. The vet also forgot to call me and I was frantically trying to switch vets due to my dogs poor experience. So overall, 3 stars for lack of compassion and empathy. He's 11, he's a rescue, he's my life. And another dog I saw go in that hospital, refused to cross the threshold one day... also enough reason for me not to go back. I was very disappointed.

Many times I have sat down to write a review about the excellent doctors at the Brookline Animal hospital. I struggle to find the correct word to say thank you, how do you stress it enough how grateful you are to 3 amazing individuals that put so much passion into what they do day in and day out. Thank you all so much for this last round of care you gave to Annie and me if it hadn't been for all the love and support I am not sure I would have made the correct discission for her. I have taken both of my cats to Brookline Animal Hospital over the last few months, each and every visit has been great. This last visit, my kitty Sophie was spayed, and Dr. Churchill called after the surgery, and spoke with me and made sure I had no questions, and to assure me that Sophie was doing good after her procedure. I was able to pick her up the next morning. After picking her up, I received a phone call both Friday and Saturday morning from the office wanting to know how Sophie was recovering. I've never had this experience at a vet's office before. As a worried pet mom, I am thankful for all of the dedicated staff at Brookline Animal Hospital for the amazing care they provide to my babies!

We couldn't have asked for better care of our two shitzus these past few years. The staff are all knowledgeable, kind, creative, friendly, and caring 200%. The facility is a 10 all around. When we moved a little farther away, we absolutely wouldn't have taken our 'boyz' anywhere else.

I took my dog, Chester, to Dr. Blake at Brookline Animal last week, for his first visit there. The office is comfortable, spotless and decorated nicely. There's a bench next to a chair that I sat in, that Chester happily settled down on, as many dogs in the past probably have, as well. The staff we met were very friendly, welcoming and gentle with my sweet dog. Dr. Blake was very attentive, asking questions to fully understand Chester's history, and gave Chester a good physical, along with advice to reduce his food by one half cup a day so he can lose 2 pounds:) Chester had fun being there and I feel confident that this doctor is very knowledgeable and caring, and optimistic, that this facility will be a good choice for us. I'm looking forward to our next, future visit.

We are so happy to have this fantastic group of veterinarians in Brookline! They are knowledgeable and thorough, and well-organized, too. I appreciate their flexible hours, since I can't always take off work to bring our pet to see them. The staff are pleasant and helpful. We have been taking our X-large breed dog there since they opened and always have a good experience. I'm not surprised to see they are expanding. I recommend Brookline Animal Hospital for skilled and compassionate veterinary care.

Brookline Animal Hospital was very accomodating and was able to fit us into their busy schedule same day in order to get our pet checked out. The staff was great, kind, knowledgeable and professional. We left with a very good feeling that our pet go the best Vet car possible.

The staff is super friendly and Dr. Blake is extremely nice and very knowledgeable.I brought my cat, Ellie, there for a well check and her shots. Even though she was meowing in protest the entire time she was in very safe hands and she has a history of vaccine reactions and they were able to pretreatment her so she didn't have any reaction at all. Dr. Blake also followed up with me to see how Ellie was doing which was really kind of her.

We discovered Brookline Animal Hospital when our golden retriever needed a broken tooth extraction 2 years ago. They have taken care of our dogs since. It is “hospital” clean and our vet Dr Churchill is very compassionate, professional and skilled. Of all the vet hospitals we have used over 40 years Brookline is tops. The staff is also very accommodating, organized and friendly.Highly recommend them!

I recently brought my two new lab puppies to Brookline Animal Hospital and having always had dogs and having been to different vet offices. I must say Brookline Animal Hospital is by far an exceptional veterinary Hospital! Dr. Blake was amazing. Dr. Monachelli, is the best. I first saw her at another location for my kitten. She left the practice and I was upset. I really liked her demeanor, the way she would listen to me, I felt she really cared. When she left I spent time looking for her. I managed to find her. I am very happy.Her staff and the doctors are caring and kind. They are so friendly. I would recommend the Brookiine Animal hospital to anyone who asks me where to go for their pets. I travel a bit to see them but they are so worth it.The whole staff is friendly and caring. Your pet will be well taken care of.

I highly recommend Brookline Animal Hospital. We got a puppy during the COVID-19 crisis and we wanted to get him a wellness check, they were able to fit us in within a week. They made the whole process very easy and comforting for me and my puppy. I called when we arrived and someone came out promptly to get my puppy while I waited in my car. I was on speaker during the whole examination. Dr. Gates and her technician were so nice to my puppy and so thorough, explaining everything (even the dumb new puppy mom questions). I was provided with many pamphlets and great information to keep my puppy happy and healthy! I am so glad I chose Brookline Animal Hospital.

All of the vets and technicians are very attentive and very thorough with the concerns we have had with our 2 dogs and 2 cats for the past several years. We're very happy with them.Again, BAH went out of their way, rescheduling appointments so my daughter's pup could be seen that day. I just have to highly recommend Brookline Animal Hospital. My daughter’s young dog was in pain with what turned out to be an abscess behind his eye. She called other veterinarians who could not get her in. BAH squeezed him in today and he needed surgery to drain the abscess. As busy as they were, they did the surgery and he is home and feeling so much better! Thank you to the staff, and especially Dr. Churchill, who went above and beyond to help. Duke is a happier pup tonite!

Professional, helpful, friendly staff that goes out of their way to be of service to you and your pet. I learned more in one visit at Brookline Animal Hospital than THREE YEARS at our old vet. We were seen on a Friday and got a call the following Monday to follow up. Dr. Churchill is extremely professional, personable, knowledgeable, and kind. She obviously has been doing this for years, knows what she’s talking about, and is confident in her experience. Prices were very reasonable and you’re not pushed to take the most expensive treatment path first like most vets suggest. My pet was very comfortable around the entire staff and did great when taken into another room for testing without me. The staff is caring and gentle. They’re everything you want for your pet in a vet.

Simply the best! BAH has always been so kind and caring for my dog Tito. Recently he had a terrible allergic reaction to some sort of bite. I called last minute a little before closing to see if they could take him and they didn’t hesitate to help my poor pup. The staff is great and their service is fantastic! I was in need for a new veterinarian and after much research I decided on Brookline Animal Hospital.I wasn’t disappointed! It’s important to find a veterinarian you are comfortable with and more importantly you can trust. This is my first visit so a little early to know for sure.I will say they have a Very nice staff and Dr. Churchill is wonderful. No pressure and they make you feel comfortable. Brookline Animal Hospital is excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Every visit is followed-up by a phone call to check on the animal to make sure there's no issues, especially after getting a shot or two. My dog has no fear going into the office or going along with a tech to have work done. Great place, good service, and excellent staff.

We have lived in many places over the past 28 years, owned several dogs and have been to numerous different vets in multiple states. I can say, without a doubt, that Brookline Animal Hospital, is heads and tails (pun intended) above the rest! I cannot say enough about the staff and all of the doctors! Dr. Blake who is the most caring, thorough and knowledgeable vet we have ever encountered. We and our dogs absolutely adore her! The vet techs are top notch, too! The practice's place of business has a very homey feel with living room, books and refreshments for humans and canines. Oh, and their fees are very reasonable! You cannot go wrong by taking your beloved animal/animals to Brookline Animal Hospital!

This is by far the best veterinary practice. We had previously been to two other vets. Long story short one of my dogs was falsely diagnosed with thyroid disease and was on meds for several years before it was determined by Brookline vet that she actually had no issue with her thyroid, she is doing so well and continues to thrive!My other dog had a growth on his back which was thought to be a wart, after their examination and a biopsy it turned out it was cancer with a severely high risk of metastasizing and my husband and I were feeling so hopeless. Our dog was thought to have 3ish months to live. Thankfully the vet did a removal of the growth just in case and when we visited the oncologist they were amazed on how great the margins were. Here we are 1 year later and he is doing amazing. This vet really cares about pets and goes above and beyond.

I called in the morning and got an appointment the same day! Staff was warm, friendly and professional. They did a great job of dealing with my cat. This practice is wonderful and they truly care about your pet. Coffee and candy in the waiting room is a real plus. I recommend them without hesitation.
