Thank you Brad and John I had such a nice visit in your store. I loved meeting Diane the turtle and of course Grace the cat. I’m just sorry that Harry’s a little shy. I would’ve loved to meet him . Your merchandise is so unique and beautiful and inexpensive. My only regret is not noticing the artwork. I’m going to to go online and take a peek. This is a charming gift store run by fraternal twins, Brad and Jim Tonner. It is a very eclectic shop and has something for everyone. I especially fell in love with their giant wind chimes and the Chakra windchime. I picked up a ceramic turtle magnet for my friend because she loves turtles and Diane the turtle has been a mainstay mascot for the store for 51 years!!! People come from all over to get their picture taken with her. This is definitely worth a trip to downtown Bristol, NH. Besides the turtle magnet, I purchased an exit 23 shot glass and a Christmas present for my sister.

Absolutely amazing gift shop, they have an enormous selection of from souvenirs, toys, to beautiful art pieces. But most of all the two owners are the epitomy of kindness and I wish I could come back in here everyday. So happy I got to meet Grace and Harry, their two beautiful cats as well! They also have Diane the turtle as well! Exceptional gift shop run my truly exceptional people!

Was driving through the area and stumbled into this gem! It's so much more than the average gift store. There are so many things to look at, and I recommend reading the story of Diane the turtle! The folks at the counter were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in the area!

Happened upon this shop during a weekend getaway in the area. The people who run the shop were so sweet. They introduced me to the stars of the town, Harry and Grace. I bought a Diane the turtle mug and unfortunately it broke a day later, I emailed them about it in hopes of getting it replaced as I was so excited for it and I live a few states away so coming back any time soon was close to impossible. They responded swiftly, sent me another mug, including a card with a handwritten note inside, and 2 magnets!!! Diane also drew a self portrait of herself in the card!!!! Highly highly recommend. It’s quaint and funky, felt surreal. I loved it so much.

This is the best gift shop!! There is literally something for everyone here; toys, puzzles, notecards, local art, fudge, soap, etc. This is the ultimate gift shop located right in the adorable downtown area of Bristol. Also, make sure you get to see Diane, the turtle!

One of the best shops to visit in the Newfound Lake area. Jim and Brad are amazing, friendly, talented, the ambiance is excellent, the family of Diane the tutle, Harry and Grace the cats are wonderful to meet and visit with. Excellent books authored and illustrated by Brad and Jim, an amazing collection of NH souvenirs, an old school array of candies make this the "go-to" gift shop to visit. The kids and everyone in the family will love this place. You will welcome and at home. Please make sure you visit- once you do, you will visit often and enjoy yourself tremendously. This is one of the cutest and most charming places I've ever been able to visit. Owners are incredibly kind and friendly and it was an honor to meet Diane. On top of it all, there are so many cool things to buy, and they're well priced at that. This entire town is cute but this store is especially exceptional, and very worth visiting. Made my entire week better. :-)

The twins and their turtle 🐢 Diane are the main reason we visit Bristol for gifts, fun and window shopping. This gift store always has something for everyone and the inventory is always shifting with new and creative finds! Highly recommend visiting this place to get a sense of Bristol and to feel like a kid in a candy store. :)

Took the youngest grandkids in to see Diane the turtle after reading them the story about how she came to the family over 50 years ago. The brothers/ owners of Twin Designs were as patient, kind and informative about Diane as I remembered from taking the older teenaged grandkids when they were little.

Two twin brothers own this gift shop that sells a variety of gifts. They also write, illustrate, and sell their own books. The shop also has a "zen room" where you can sit down on a chair and just relax. But what makes this shop famous is a 50 year old turtle, named Diane, that lives here. The owners will be happy to show Diane to anyone who visits.

Charming shop, loved the turtle (subject of a charming illustrated book by the proprietors and son/nephew), love our wooden cribbage board with a detailed map of Newfound Lake. Be sure to check out the wall with WWII record of the owners' dad, who was awarded the Navy's DFC.

This store is great has alot of really cool stuff. It took me a a few weeks of driving by, before I stopped to check it out and I'm glad I did. They have such an array of different items all original things you can't find really anywhere else. The only thing is the items are a little expensive. Thats my only complaint. The owners are very nice. They write their own books which is quite popular. (Books about a pet turtle they have) their pet turtle is set up in the store, it's huge and is on a 24/7 live camera feed. The turtle is quite a sight to see, not only because of its age but also its size.
