They also helped get us in touch with an electrician which made the entire process so much easier. Between Jeff and the electrician they recommended, I cannot say enough about these folks. The new vacuum system is fantastic. First class business that knows how to communicate with their customers!

Went to concord shop and spent an hour with the owner learning about vacuums, his information proved we had made the wrong decision with our first internet commercial vacuum purchase. Ended up with a model backed by his expertise and parts to fix our old model. I would recommend stopping in for any person with central vac or regular vac questions or issues!

The cord for my sewing machine was missing. Ordering one would have taken days. These folks had it in stock! I was able to pick it up in a couple of hours. Fine, friendly place, super helpful! I will go back for the fabric store when I have time to enjoy it!

Great business. Had our vacuum (purchased elsewhere years ago) serviced here after we noticed a noise. They took it apart and inspected the motor for damage, cleaned and lubricated it and cleaned out the brush head for a very reasonable price. Very upfront and honest about what they found, did not try to upsell or push unnecessary services. Kept me informed through the process and gave me options.When we had another small issue with the vacuum after the repair, they took a look at it the same day I brought it in, gave it a once over, and had it back to me within a few hours. They explained the issue (most likely a faulty bag) and assured me it was tested and good to go.Both times, everyone was incredibly polite, friendly and knowledgeable.Great place to do business!

We recently went to Vacman & Bobbin to purchase a new central vac system for our home. Our buying experience was very enjoyable, and fun actually, as we enjoyed many laughs while there. They are very knowledgeable, know their products and helped to steer us in the right direction with a quality system best equipped for our needs. I can't say enough good things about Caroline and Steve. I had been going to Vacman & Bobbin for a little while to purchase fabric and accessories for quilting. I stopped quilting for a couple of years while my mom was sick and I was taking care of her so I hadn't been in the store in over two years. I walked in yesterday and was greeted by Caroline and she recognized me BY NAME, asked how mom was (she has since passed) and was as helpful and kind as always. I got what I needed but one item wasn't in the store, so I went back today to get it. Steve greeted me, smile on his face as always - he also recognized me and gave me a big hug! I know I can go to the impersonal box stores or buy my materials online, but why would I when the good people at Vacman & Bobbin make me feel like family?

Very unprofessional. Asked him to come look at my house prior to install of a central vac to make sure everything was as described when I was given a price (nothing goes right in my house), he agreed, then called me 2 weeks later and cancelled the whole system install because he didn’t want to come out prior to install. When I asked him why on the phone he was very rude, yelling at me and wouldn’t let me get a word in. Every time I would try and talk he would interrupt me, finally I said I would just leave a review since he wouldn’t let me speak and he said “I bet you leave a bad review with everyone since you can’t be satisfied”. He told me he would rather come out for the install, realize it wouldn’t work and then cancel on site instead of come out before hand for 10 mins to view my house. He also accused me of not trusting him and said that was the only reason I would want him to look at my house layout and that I should trust him because he’s done this for “over 50 years”. He’s nice until you “challenge” him in any sort of way. Highly recommend finding a different place for a vacuum.

We love our new sebo! Steve knew everything there is about a vacuum. All the staff were knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We had a small issue and they stayed late after closing time to rectify the problem. We are new to the area so it was a surprise visit to their store. From the time we walked in till our small problem was taken care of it was a great experience.

We've owner Kirby and Electrolux vacuums for the past twenty some years, and it they were beyond due for replacement, but I did not want to spend another $1200 to replace either. The folks at Vacman and Bobbin recommended the Sebo Airbelt K3, and we couldn't be more satisfied. Lightweight and powerful enough (we have a dog that sheds constantly) and bought the hand held power brush with extension hose. No more lugging the vacuum up and down the stairs to do the stair carpets. No regrets. We had one small issue with the vacuum that was taken care of right away....no questions asked... and compensated for out troubles with extra bags. Couple all that with great sales and service. Highly recommended.

I went to buy some plush fabric that had all these grease like stains on the back of the fabric. It was 16.50 per yard. The only discount they offered was to take off 1.50 total. Very disappointing as I really like the shop and was thinking about purchasing a serger there. But to not at least offer a deeper discount to a good customer made me feel that they did not appreciate my business at all.
