This is my local DG, so i'm in here quite a bit, definitely a couple times a week, for the last 2/3 years. The staff is always friendly, & I have plenty of nice lil chats with them. Just last night the man at the register was very kind, I'll have to get his name next time I see him. I see Jess the most, with her elf ears, & she has honestly become such a staple to me. It would be weird to visit this location & not see her! The store itself is pretty kept in order, especially compared to other DG locations that I have visited. You're not trying to make your way around several carts, or stacked boxes of product, the shelves are always organized, & when there is a cart to be put away, there is always a staff member working on it. Definitely my preffered DG location!

Aisles are always crowded with boxes, sale items are usually out of stock. Hard to find things in the store.

ordered an item online and was given an entirely different item in the store and was told if I wanted the item I bought to go to another store or pay more money, staff didn't have my order ready when I arrived on time to pick up the order so I had to wait for them to find the wrong item to give it to me, staff was unnecessarily rude on top of everything and I was told that if I wanted the right item in the future to not order it online.

This is the third time I have tried to go to dollar general during their listed business hours and they are already closed with a vey childish unprofessional note in the door, complete with messy handwriting and sad faces. If I wasn’t so frustrated that they were closed I would have taken a photo of it. Closing 4 hours early is kinda crazy.

Its location is very convenient and the selection is pretty good. I mostly go here to pick up snacks for when friends are over, or when we forget to pick something up when we go grocery shopping. The service does range from being good to somewhat bad, but I think it's normally pretty good. The bathrooms were also clean, the one time that I did use them.

What a horrible location. Most places want to get their job more money but this place doesn't even wait until one second after 10 hits to lock the door when a paying customer is clearly pulling up before 10 on the DOT. And not to mention the stores usually pretty trashed and dirty does anyone even know how to clean?

Called to see if they had any Pokémon cards in stock, and asked what kind/set they had. The lady told me to get in my car and drive down to find out instead of just saying what set they were. Really rude and unprofessional. Especially since it’s just Pokémon cards and very easy to just say the words on the package. I understand I could just drive down but figured a quick call first wouldn’t hurt. Save time/money when looking for cards for my daughter.

Went in there for the family and don’t get me wrong but I go in there almost every night for family. Tonight I was grabbing drinks and food for dinner for the family and the front cashier saw me behind this man that was buying stuff. The minute I came up to cash, she walked away and went to the office going on her phone for 4 minutes. Tried getting her attention but she ignored me over her phone. Finally told her that I’m ready to cash out and she looked at me with attitude and walked over. She acted like I wasn’t there from the beginning. She then threw my stuff in my bags like it didn’t matter and once I was cashed out, she stormed off with an attitude, not even pushing the bagging Carousel with my stuff in it and I don’t like reaching towards the back of the desk to turn it myself. I’m very unhappy and if I’m gonna get attitude over a phone, then I might as well take my business somewhere else. I worked in retail and fast food and I understand that work is stressful but they shouldn’t be on their phones when customers are waiting to be cashed out or needing help with something. Very unprofessional is all I gotta say. I usually brush things off if they were being rude but to ignore someone over a phone isn’t the right way to treat a loyal customer.

Good location, have lots of stuff a quicker in and than Walmart. The staff is nice when you can find them buy they are always on their cell phones. I've watched them walk away from customers at the register to have personal calls, not the best look.

Great service and selection. One of the card readers was down on Christmas eve and the staff handled the inconvenience with a good attitude. Having this store in this location has been extremely helpful to me.

Love Dollar General Stores good prices and they carry everything you need almost lol. The Belmont store is very convenient but the managers and a couple of the employees are a little dull and not very nice to talk to but the like I said the store is excellent. I use it every day.

prices aren't too terrible, and the selection is pretty great. its nice to go and even just look around. the staff are usually nice and the service is pretty quick. they also take EBT cards!!

The staff isn't the issue...its dollar general, in general. Their system is horrid. Anything that's supposedly on sale never comes up the correct price. I've experienced this at EVERY dollar general. They RIP customers off by the thousands. If my husband didn't add it up as it went through, we'd get ripped off every trip. Last week, on one trip it was $21.00 they tried to not take off, but did after my husband pointed every discrepancy individually.So in closing, they do have good deals, but add it all up yourself and dont be afraid to correct them. Most people let $5-$10 go, add it up over the course of a year, that's a weakened away!

Quick and easy if your running late for a birthday party and you don't have a gift yet, it's also nice that if you do live near it, if you run out of a certain food it's easy just to swing right by, instead of further-away stores.

I really wish there was one in laconia or close enough to walk to. I only get to shop there if my mom or friend brings me. So its once in a great while. Though I liked almost everything they had to offer.

Went 2 Mondays in a row at 8:15 and both times they were not open. Hours clearly say 8 am to 10 pm.

Great little for for the average snacks and supplies that you need on a daily little basis they don't have everything it's not top of the line but it's not necessarily real real cheap neither not bad

I hate to leave such a disparaging review, but it's very neccessary. This DG does have a couple very good workers, it also has some of the most incompetent fools alive in NH.I wont put specific names, but the girl who is straight out of high school should Thank God every night, because she got really lucky getting hired at DG. Without her getting a job there, she could be looking at a lifetime of licking jerky stamps for the Cazonie gang in Sanford Maines East wing trailer park....NUMB as they COME has a whole new meaning....

If you shop for deals or coupon it could be worth it but the prices aren't always a deal. Staff have been very rude a couple times but overall people here are usually nice.
