Recently my cat needed some assistance crossing over---the entire experience was beautiful....the quite room, a scented candle, soft music and goody cart filled with comfort treats for me and my cat made the difficult task much easier. Dr. Kate, Dr. Goldberg who saw Lola, and the rest of the staff at True North are not only experienced. They are patient, dedicated, respectful animal lovers and I trust them to care for our most loyal companion on this planet. Thank you for always treating our pup with love and respect. She is never nervous during an exam and was even low wagging her tail while Dr.Golberg was trying repeatedly to draw blood. That speaks to the type of environment you provide at True North. First thing I want to address is my poor veterinary hospital etiquette. I’m truly sorry that I let my new cat friend whom I just caught loose in your hospital lobby while 17 puppies were coming in for a much more important reason. (I really am sorry and have learned a lot about veterinary hospital etiquette and it was a very big learning experience. For all of us). I can not say enough good things about Dr. Kate and the staff at True North veterinary hospital. I have never met a kinder, more attentive group of humans in my life. Every time we come, we are warmly welcomed and I automatically know my dog is in great hands. Recently we took our dog in to be spayed. Tech Leah met us at the door and immediately put my nerves at ease. She scooped my dog into her arms and immediately treated her like her own dog. We were kept updated throughout the entire procedure, and Dr Kate called us personally to let us know that our dog went through surgery perfectly and was resting comfortably. When we arrived to pick up our dog, she was receiving all the cuddles from Leah. There is something to be said for quality care and kind humans and True north has both! This is the best vet in the area!!

My Banner is a German Shepherd (who is usually very on guard at the vets ) was behaving in a submissive way I haven't seen in him before! After the sudden closure of our vet's office, I searched for another vet in our area. I was very fortunate to find True North. Summit's first visit went well. I was very impressed by each of the staff members who made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We weren't rushed through his visit and Dr. Will took extra time to discuss my concerns. True North was on call for our regular vet and saw our cat when he needed emergency sutures. Dr. Kate was so amazing! She treated him at 9 pm on a Sunday and was professional, understanding, and skilled. Her staff was great too. I would highly recommend!

My dog who was seen here for years was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma (a brutal and fatal cancer) by them. After he was diagnosed we did not receive one phone call to check up on how he was after we were sent to an emergency vet for emergency splenectomy surgery. After 5 months post diagnosis Bandit had his first bleeding episode. Dr. Kate told me he would not recover from it, which he did. And we got another great month with him. A month later he had another episode and I needed to make a decision. I did not realize I had an outstanding bill because THEY had the wrong email. She brought the bill up while we were talking about an at home euthanasia and got out right nasty towards me about it and said she’s ‘not going to take time out of her day for someone who’s not going to pay her’ while we were discussing an at home euthanasia… Mind you we had no history with not paying a bill. I am still in shock and disbelief someone would be so awful during a time where you would expect a professional to be compassionate. I would never recommend her to anyone who truly wants personal compassionate care. She made it very clear she cares more about money than your animal.

Best Vet we have ever been to! We recently moved to Jackson and I choose True North based on their location, and boy did we get lucky! We have three senior dogs. One has cancer, another has a large tumor, and our third dog has an eye issue. As you can imagine we visit the vets office pretty regularly. Dr. Kate and her staff have been amazing. Kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. Also her prices are very reasonable. Never has going to the vet been a pleasurable experience until now. It's comforting knowing that we have the compassion from Dr. Kate and her staff, as with older dogs the ineverable of saying goodbye is going to happen sooner than later.

We were away form home staying down the street in a rental when our dog got very sick. Although it was not ideal for your schedule and typical way of doing things, your team accommodated us last minute and got him what he needed and he turned right around. We have more than a few active dogs and have had our share of routine and emergency issues in the past few years. Even when it is a bad day, we appreciate the kindness and compassion of Dr. Kate and her staff. They are very good, strike a terrific balance between what is reasonable for a general practice and when specialist care is warranted (with great recommendations). While not cheap, they are sensitive to costs and can help with cost/benefit calculation for large and small things including different flea & tick prevention. I have at least three other vets within 15 minutes of home but I happily drive 45 minutes through Crawford Notch to True North.

Our first visit to TNVH this March 2022 was spectacular. From check in to the patient exam, the TNVH team couldn't have been more prepared, patient, or knowledgeable of our dog's condition prior to the visit and they were all on the same page. This is a big deal because our older dog has a complicated history and has been to several vets, but True North has been the most seamless and pleasant visit so far. They provided excellent care and attention to detail. My appointment was moved from the morning with one doctor to the afternoon with a different doctor, but both doctors came highly recommended so we were very pleased regardless of the change. Every Rx refill has been simple and addressed right away. I would highly reccommend True North to all pet owners.
