Friendly, clean, and professional atmosphere for pets! I own a grooming salon and have many years working for pet resorts. I’ve had a hard time finding a place for my Pyrenees, Ariel to go to that would suit her needs! Many pet resorts take handful of dogs, they are stuck in tiny crates with no bathroom area, they do not clean, etc. this place is very different and they even let me take a tour with no advance notice, which isn’t typical for most places.First of all, they have small groups of roughly 8 dogs and get a few rest breaks in between. When they do rest, they have indoor/outdoor kennels that allow them to use the bathroom if needed. It also looked like they have some sort of drainage system, if so, most daycare facilities do not have this or the indoor/outdoor kennels which is a huge bonus.The facility was clean and staff are personable and professional. The groomers are very kind as well! You can tell they have a true passion for pets and the dogs are well taken care of and my Ariel is VERY happy with them.On top of everything, their prices are beyond reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome home away from home for their pets!

I boarded my two Labrador pups with McOsker kennels and could not be happier. The owner engaged the pups immediately and playfully when we arrived, and I felt comfortable that they would be well cared for. Even though there are kennels closer by, we will return here and recommend McOsker to others.

This is THE place to board your dog! Our dog stayed a whole week. They are so friendly and had no problem answering my endless questions. Our German Shepard is a bit of a diva and they were happy to accommodate us. You can really tell that they love animals. I felt they truly appreciated our business and were looking forward to future business with us. Within a week a received a nice card in the mail thanking us for choosing them which is a nice touch. They are excellent groomers as well; we had our dog groomed on the day we picked her up.

For the last 25 years have brought my dogs to McOsker Kennels on a regular basis! I go away a lot and they are the only kennel I trust .... will not bring my dog any where else. Highly recommend for grooming too! Wonderful family owned business with excellent caring staff!

I brought my Havanese dog to McOsker Kennels for nail clipping. It took a minute or so. I noticed blood on the floor from one of the paws. The employee said: “It happens all the time, it is OK”. No apology, no offer of help. The blood was staining my car seat, then the floor at home. A lot of blood. Next day the blood re-appeared. Again I was scrubbing the floors, feeling sad about my dog. In 9 years doing this elsewhere this was the first such occurrence and it happened at McOsker.

They also did an amazing job grooming the two dogs for us! Being new to the area, it is a huge relief to have found a place we can depend on. Our girls had a great time spending 3 weeks on vacation at McOsker Kennels. The staff were kind, helpful, and enjoyed spending time with them. We were able to call and check in on how things were going. They even came home with new matching bandanas😍 We are never hesitant to leave our german shepherd girls in their hands.

I love boarding my dog at McOskars. He's always happy and exhausted by the time I get him home. Last time I went to pick him up, the woman working the front desk had him upstairs with her because she felt sorry for him because he was the last dog picked up. She even added some stuff to his food and warmed it up because she was worried that he wasn't eating enough. She babied my baby I love that.

I wish I could give zero stars so I'm going to give one just to make sure that my story is heard. I was incredibly disappointed in my experience with this boarding facility. I boarded my cat there for 5 days while I went out of town. The ONLY reason I needed to board her at all is because she requires medication. She takes an oral steroid, which when not administered, will make her very ill, very quickly. Every interaction I had with all of the employees that worked there was highly unpleasant. They were all very rude. I also thought it was incredibly bizarre that they lock the door even during business hours and you have to ring a doorbell and be let in. I dropped my cat off and told them that I usually feed her wet food at night. They informed me that unless you supply your own wet food, they cannot feed your animal wet food because they DO NOT KEEP IT ON HAND! A KENNEL! THAT DOESN'T KEEP WET FOOD IN THE FACILITY! I would have taken her elsewhere, but at this point, I had no choice. I returned to pick her up and they told me that the staff REFUSED to treat my cat because she was "too aggressive". For starters, my cat weighs 5 pounds and HAS NO TEETH! As in, not a single tooth in her mouth. SHE IS INCAPABLE OF BITING YOU. Secondly, it doesn't matter how aggressive an animal is, when you're running a boarding business, you medicate the animals that need medication. I worked at a vet clinic for 4 years. I medicated animals on a daily basis and we also offered boarding services. We had VERY nasty cats and very aggressive dogs, some of which weighed over 200lbs that were less than friendly about receiving treatment. You're professionals, you're expected to get the job done! What if she'd been diabetic? They would have handed her back to me in a box! And probably still charged me for it! When I picked her up, she had not received her medication in almost a week and was very sick. I will never take any of my animals there again, and I advise any of you reading this not to either.

Such a disappointing experience. Please do not leave your pets here!My husband and I boarded our two cats here while we were out of town for a week. Their website promises "personalized attention" and a separate cat loft for a "stress free atmosphere".When we toured the location before booking there were two cats upstairs already in the cat loft. They ensured us that this area was for cats only. Unfortunately on the day we dropped off our cats there were several dogs upstairs including a liter of puppies. One of our cats was so terrified that he peed all over himself. They had promised to clean his crate for us before we returned. The crate had dried pee when we came to retrieve him. Additionally there were even more dogs upstairs when we came to pick up the cats. This is clearly not a cat loft and false advertising.We left specific instructions for feeding and brought more than enough food. When we picked up the cats there was approximately 4 days worth of food that was not given to them (remember we were only gone for a week). When we asked about this they said that if the cats didn't eat the previous food they were given they would not give them new food. In other words the cats were forced to eat old, stale food for several days.The entire place is run by a family. The kids seem to treat this like a chore that their parents force them to do.Our cats smelled terribly of urine when we retrieved them. They were clearly not well cared for. I regret the decision to leave them at this facility. Please, if you love your pets, find other arrangements for them!

We love McOsker Kennels. Our dog is always happy and tired when she comes home from doggie daycare. She is well-loved there. When we come around the corner and she sees where she is going, she gets excited, so I am happy because she's happy to be there!

I don't usually leave bad reviews but I thought I would for the sake of other people looking to board their dogs here. I've had bad experience with boarding in the past so I'm extra cautious when looking for places and I often ask to tour the facility to see what my dogs will be experiencing. Beware!! This "kennel" is in a basement of a house. When you walk in, you will be aware that these conditions are not appropriate for animals to live in. Cages are extremely thin in width. It is very dark, dirty, and it reeks. I did not see any food or water places in the cages with the dogs. There was far more dogs than the capacity should allow. Employees were yelling at barking dogs. Two or three dogs were in one small cage at a time. Their version of letting the dogs go outside is a tiny fenced in area where they are allowed to relieve themselves in. How they manage to relieve all these dogs "at least 3 times a day" is beyond me. This is inhumane and I am glad I asked to see the inside. I hope you think twice before bringing your dogs here. Because the good reviews you read about are about people who didn't actually tour the place the lady in the front desk who took me on the tour was friendly to me but even said herself she takes her dogs to a different place. Just because people who seem friendly doesn't mean that the place they work at is good. Please do not bother boarding your dog here. Take a tour for yourself, this place should be shut down.

Very friendly and a great price. My dog has some anxiety issues and it's very hard to take him around people and animals, but after his first stay here he was so much calmer and when I took him back, he drug me to the door and was excited to see the people inside.

We have gotten two labs here over the past 15 years. They have both been amazing dogs with wonderful temperments and intelligent. Our kids have cherished each of these dogs. I wouldn't get a lab anywhere else!

The staff and owners really stepped up for us. We were out of town and our pet got sick. Without hesitation they took him to the vet and even hand fed our dog and kept him right up in the office while recovering. How nice is that?! Thanks
