I usually get great service at the Alton,NH store but I’m a senior citizen and I have been a loyal customer for 10 years.Recently I bought 5 40 pound bags of pellets and I asked a young a associate to help me load them in my car.Long story I waited and waited and no one showed up so my wife and I loaded the bags by ourselves.

We had a hard time picking the right shade of exterior paint this summer. After trying several small paint samples on the cottage, we thought we found the right one, and bought 4 gallons. Go figure that once we painted it on the cottage, it wasn't what we had hoped it would look like. No fault of Brian and the rest of the paint team in Alton; they did a great job and exhibited tremendous patience. They modified a single gallon of our purchased paint to help us finally find the right color tone, and modified the other 3 gallons to match it. THANKS SO MUCH. We love the final result!

Great store. I live locally and go there often. Their products are high quality and usually well stocked. This last time, I was looking for very specific screws we lost for an old crib we’re trying to piece back together for our grandson. Aubuchon had the same screws I needed. Exactly the same as the original. That’s unheard of. I’m very impressed. Their screw, bolt collection is second to none! Thanks again!

Great Hardware store with an abundance of varied products expected in a modern hardware store and a wonderful and knowledgeable staff led by a great manager, Isaac! If you don’t see something, ask Isaac and he can usually find it and order it in for pickup in a couple of days! Convenient hours 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and a nice friendly place to shop! Give them a try and we don’t think you will be disappointed!

Ordered bags of mulch online for my dad to pickup, no one came out when he arrived for pickup, no one came out to assist him in loading despite telling him 2 times that someone would be out to help him. Good product, poor customer service!

I am rating my last three experiences here at the Alton Aubuchon Hardware location.I noticed a "changeover" of staff in the last 12 months here. Now, mind you, I am not a frequent customer at this location. I usually only purchase garden equipment and soil amendments here, things that I've neglected to purchase through NOFA.The visit before this one (while purchasing fertilizers) I noticed that communication between my purchase pickup were just a bit disorganized.Hey, it happens all the time. No worries here.I will say that the knowledge and service of this team have improved immensely since my last visit. Not only have I been assisted in locating my items without staff "hovering" over me, (which I hate), I was offered very helpful advice in related items that I might be interested in. Without pressure to purchase, which I might add.I am very pleased with my service at this location.Keep up the good work!

I can’t say enough about the Alton location and its associates but especially about the store manager, Issac.I special ordered a Weber grill for my folks who have a small trailer in Laconia, they were coming back up from FL on May 13th and I needed to have the grill assembled as well as delivered before they arrived.My order was pretty close to the date of theirs expected return and I was pushing it. Issac assured me it would be in and assembled.Well, Issac, the Thursday prior, took it upon himself on a scheduled day off, to head in, assemble the grill, grab a new propane tank and then, placed both into the back of his own pickup truck… followed me to Laconia from Alton, delivered the grill and assisted me in not only placing it on the deck but helped me remove the old grill. He then proceeded to hookup the tank and lit the new grill ensuring it worked properly.Truly appreciative of ALL Issac did with the short notification he was given, accomplishing this in the short period provided and for taking time out of his day off ensuring everything was good to go before my parents arrival.THANK YOU Isaac…. Can’t stress just how great all my experience have been with the Alton Aubuchon location and it’s associates.Mike

We love this store. They spent a long time helping us figure out what was needed for our project, and we ended up saving a lot of money. The employees are always great, and the new manager was very helpful and courteous too. They also have great rewards programs and sales, so their prices are competitive.

Very good people. I must have been dealing with the owners. Seemed very knowledgeable and more than willing to assist, give advice about where else I could go to find what I needed. They even had their dogs hanging around by the registers. Gives it that awesome small town feel that I love.

My experience here was less than satisfying. I wasn't greeted by 1 of the dozen associates standing around the registers, as I was searching for my items no one offered their assistance to me either. I found it very hard to find what I needed do to the condition of the store, which I have seen fall apart over the this year. When I approached the register I was not greeted by the cashier. In fact the cashier's only words to me were my total, no "thank you" or "have a nice day". The cashier also skipped out on giving me my rewards and entering my number. The company needs to address the poor management within this store. I will be taking my business to a new location.

excellent job on replacing screening in Anderson Window aluminum frames,they generously offered to have me an entire deck of paint color chips and keep them as long as I needed to! Every time I go into this store an associate is immediately greeting me and offering to help me find anything I need. They actually accompany me to the aisle and to the specific product. If they cannot locate it they help each other find it!!!
