WOW! This is some of the best (if not THE best) fried seafood I have ever had. The quality of the seafood itself is fresh and full of flavor, and the battering is just lovely… Fried to a perfect color. Even the fries, which are on the darker side, were absolutely delicious; perfect crunchy shell around a soft interior.Service was also great, even on a busier evening. I was able to peer into the kitchen while I waited for my food, and I have to compliment how clean and organized they keep it in there! Highly recommend.

I have traveled up and down the east coast and have had my fair share of fried clams from many restaurants and clam shacks alone the way. When I was young, digging for clams was one the most enjoyable adventures I had growing up at Hampton Beach NH so take it from someone who knows his clams. Pops is without question the best fried clams I have every had the pleasure to consume.The batter is light and airy like nothing I have ever experienced with very little seasoning. I quite honestly don’t know how they do it. But the bottom line is visit Pop’s and you’ll not regret it!!

Beautiful place, clean, very efficient. great day for it. Im outside on the upper deck having lunch. The weather was perfect. The people were relaxed and the atmosphere was awesome.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly they offer a frisbee on the kids menu with the meal which I thought was wonderful.

So yummy! My hubby and I are not big spenders on takeout but this is one place we like to treat ourselves to. The plates are big enough to eat twice. My kids get a kick out of the children's meal because its served on a frisbee they get to keep. Highly recommend!

Fabulous food. As of now, 9/2022, closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Food very fresh and tasty. Avetage price. Decent amount of parking and you can eat inside or outside.Would visit again without a second thought!!!

Biggest seafood plate bar none. Also the food is the best around. Prices are reasonable for seafood. But the amount of it is incredible. Service is fast FYI they don’t take credit cards Every summer we visit Pop’s for the seafood platter. Big enough for two.

The food is amazing!!! Got a lobster roll w/clam. The size is enough for 3 people!The lobster roll is on point, not overwhelming with mayo, the lobsters were abundant and straight to the point, no celery :) there is a bed of lettuce that further balanced the roll.The outdoor ambiance is great as well!Highly recommend!(My picture does not do it justice, its BIG!)

I first tried Moxie here many years ago, and I've been coming back annually since. Great food. Also, the Rodeo Burger is larger than you expect. Brace yourself.

Very nice count to help, very quick turnaround on the order and when speaking with the kids that were cooking they were very courteous and kind. Kind I need a little extra ice, they help me. I split the seafood platter. It was delicious. We had a seafood platter, iced tea, medium, and onion hearts and the bill came out to like 49.75. couldn't finish it 🙂 . Alton Bayview from the picnic table was stunning. However, I wish they had some free standing chairs as not only myself who used to came, but there's two elderly women that were having a hard time singing the picture table. That's the only issue I practically had. Also, the scallops are delicious as part of the fisherman's platter but it was mostly like little fish ball. So when I thought I was eating a scallop, it was a piece of fish, not haddock or cod. The shrimps were jumbo and they were delicious and I cannot believe how many clams they actually put on the seafood platter. Kudos to the quality of the majority of the planet was awesome. Definitely would come again. Also, if you can put a few little umbrellas out on your picnic tables that'd be great. I ended up getting a sunburn and we sat there for half an hour. Again, the staff was top notch 👍🏼😎

Good seafood with large portions and a good value. Best for takeout though they have some seating on site, you're better off going across the street to eat by the water.

Lobstah' Rolls do not disappoint!! Portion, quality, and presentation TOP 10 IN the world. One of the best road side concession shacks EVAH'. Seating with a view along with air conditioned seating as well, Brilliant!!!!Kid-friendliness: The usual suspects with a fish nugget option

A treasure. I worked here in the late 70s - it really hasn't changed much (which is a good thing). The original owners, (the Andrews) built the business on high quality food. The current owner (son in law of who I had worked for I believe) seems to be continuing that tradition. They have had a bad rap for high prices but it's really not excessive all things considered. With the changes in ownership and menu at Sawyer's, Pop's is back at the top in the Lake's region.

Haven't had fried seafood this good since the last time we were there 4 years ago. That's when we moved to Florida. I think Pop's should open a place in the Tampa Bay area for the winters! :)

Drove an hour out, kayaked then came here at 3pm and was told there closed, yet website says open till 8pm. turn around and they're still serving customers I just wanted clam strips and a drink! Heck in this heat I would've been happy with just a drink but got told they're closed for an hour so I'd have to wait! Poor customer service a drink requires little to no effort and they wouldn't even let me order one!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I ordered the haddock plate with a large drink. The batter on fish was ok. The haddock itself was a healthy size portion. Fries were alright and the coleslaw was so so. For almost $24 dinner. It was only ok. The dining room in the seperste building had multiple tables that were not cleaned up.
