That is definitely amazing place that you must be visit. We really enjoyed the long way to get there with the nice view. There are so many parking, place for picnic, BBQ but only thing I didn't feel convenient there is public restroom is not clean. However, we will back there soon

Would 100% stay here again & again. Stay here for the location, this park is adjacent to the Tahoe Basin National Forest so you have access across the street (5 min walk max) to a beautiful beach and trail along Lake Tahoe some paved, some sand, some still natural enough to make your own trail and all breathtaking and peaceful in October. I like the NV side of the lake for its natural state and trails. The campground in my opinion was exceptional, clean beautiful and perfectly located. I have 34 TT with 2 slides and felt my pull through spot was plenty spacious with a deep fire ring and a rubber coated picnic table which I prefer. I used the showers, laundry facilities and bathrooms and all were not only clean but nice. Actual shower rooms with doors and seats, even the bathrooms had a full door. The laundry room was large, I did 3 loads and the machines worked great. We also ate at the restaurant twice so far and I highly recommend the Ultimate Grilled Cheese, but everything we ate was delicious. We also took the lake cruise on MS Dixie II, worth it for sure. Now on to the gift shop/store, well stocked with drinks, fire wood and souvenirs. We shopped in South Lake CA several times and the souvenirs at Zephyr Cove Lodge were not only better quality but in the case where some items were the same, Zephyr Cove had better pricing. I’ve stayed at 4 RV parks in the last 30 days and Zephyr Cove RV & Campground was hands down the best for all the reasons above. Also our cell signal with AT&T was able to stream movies and calls, bonus! Thank you to all the employees at this park for being so nice and creating such a special experience for us.

Really enjoyed this RV park. Staff was courteous and available. Restaurant was quick and the food was good. Location across from the lake was awesome.

A nice and clean campground. We spent 3 wonderful days. Clean showers and toilets, all very well maintained. Beautiful Lake Tahoe is just a few steps away. Zephyr Cove Resort offers many activities. Beach, Restaurant and Bar are also available. We will come back one day.

Really poor customer service. For $100 per night, you start by checking in at the campground and then have to cross a busy 4 lane road to checkin at the general store to just give your credit card. Wood for fires ($12.95 per bundle) needs to be purchased at the general store and then carried back across the 4 lane road to your site. Workers are going back and forth in golf carts but were unwilling to transport the wood. WiFi is almost non existent. No cell service with Verizon. Sites are level mostly and in wooded areaBathroom and showers are not heated and are about what you would find at a state campground. No shower curtain. No toilet bowl seat. Mostly clean.Beautiful cove across the street. Great location to explore Lake Tahoe.Restrooms: See review

Excellent place for camping in alot of trees clean and nice. 5min walk to the lake. I seen that people complained about the phone and wifi not working. I had no problem. If you need wifi and phone all the time go get a room somewhere else. And don't go camping to get away from it all to rest and relax.

No our favorite place. The RV lots are set in the trees, very nice, with water, sewer and electric. There is WiFi but we never found it, the employees we talked to said it never really works. There is TV but it cuts off and on and changes channels when it comes back on. The lots are gravel based. We had no cell reception on either Verizon (Xfinity) or T-Mobile. If the Wi-Fi had worked it wouldn't have mattered. You check in at the RV desk but are then sent across the street (walking) to really check in. The street is a 4 lane busy busy highway. The crosswalk light does come on quickly. We were going to stay for 2 days but cut it to one day because I needed to work online.

Wow, I saw mixed reviews and I'm sure some are valid...but my Experience was wonderful! I reserved a spot about a month ahead and they gave me my exact spot when I arrived. Hook ups all worked I had fresh cold water, sewer, and 50amp power. Our space came with a picnic table and a BBQ ground fire pit combo. Laundry facilities worked great. Absolutely beautiful site I felt like I was in the Sequoias. We were walking distance to Zephyr Cove, we rented a boat and had a blast for the day. When we came back to rest the place was peaceful and this is when it was packed... so packed I couldn't extend my stay, but I knew it was time to head home and let others enjoy this beautiful camp.

I know the location is 5 stars. I have information issue. If you plan to have more than one spot in the camp ground. Make reservation under one name. That way they will place you close to each other. I have four spots and we are all separated! If you boat, you can't part your trailer in the camp grounds. Now I have to pay a 150 a day for a slip plus parking for my trailer.

We had a wonderful visit and the location is perfect for getting to POI’s and hiking. Having the beach across a busy road is strange, but the walk sign turns within one minute - very cool! The road is noisy all night - like camping in the city.On the downside, we found the sites too cramped. We have enjoyed spacious sites all summer. I was amazed at how “uneven” many of the site lots were, including ours. I saw way too many RV’s with both front wheels in the air or jacked way up on one side. Why can’t people level sites when building? We notice on the busy weekend our water pressure was low - that’s not good. And come on - it’s 2022 and no Wi-Fi!!! I am a retired IT guy, it’s not that hard!! Why are campers leaving there lights on? Midwest and east coast sites require “dark” at 10pm.Overall we enjoyed the trip - just need to pay attention to some of the details.

Great fantastic place to stay with all hook ups and showers that had nice hot water . Walking distance across the street to the Tahoe beach front . There are 2 areas one no pets and the other side for pets . My family had a great time for this being our first time traveling in a RV .

This review is for the RV Park in the winter month. It's in a nice location, close proximity to South Lake Tahoe ski resorts. The site is clean. The shower is basically cold and the water is very slow. We tested most of the shower room and could not find one with comfortable hot water and good water flow. It's kind of disappointed. A hot shower is very important for us in winter months after a day of ski.

If you’re looking for a place just to base camp while you go out and adventure around the lake this is probably OK. Some of the sites are really tight and close together it would be challenging for a novice backer up to get into a couple sites . If you have one of the sites close to the highway the noise from vehicle traffic starts in the morning and goes all the way through the evening. So don’t expect peace and quiet.Restrooms and showers certainly need some maintenance. The office is closed because of “Covid” so check in is at the store. There is no in person reservations available has to be done online. The public beach is conveniently located right across busy Highway 50. The beach is it supposed to be very crowded on nice days on the weekends. I think bottom line is it all depends on what your expectations are.

We stayed here with a camper. The reason to stay here is if you’re looking to stay on a beach (we were here in July and it was not a relaxing beach, young party crowd) when checking in we had to cross the street to resort reception. The Wi-Fi was non-existent, which was unfortunate because it sits in a dead cell area. They also pack the campers in like sardines, if you have a large camper it’s going to be tight getting in and out of your spot. Showers and bathrooms were nice. Otherwise it really is a nice location.Restrooms: Good shape

This is a really nice campground just across the street from fantastic lake Tahoe views. Get a site on the edges, not the middle and you will have nice privacy.

Beautiful RV park tucked in tall trees right off of highway 50. We had a 40’ pull through site which was plenty of room for our 32’ trailer and truck. We loved that each site had a large fire pit! Easy access to the lake (across the highway through a crosswalk) and walking/biking path.

Very well kept RV park. Amazing location just across from the lake. There are a few trails to hike leading out of the non-lakeside of the park. The shop is very basic so better to shop before arrival. RV pitches are large and well kept. Really nice camp in general. One of the best we saw on our trip.

The RV park has beautiful old growth pines everywhere. The access to Lake Tahoe is super convenient and you can walk there easily. The RV spaces are extremely tight though. If your rig is more than 30 ft be ready to weave in and around pine trees. Because the park is used heavily, there is lots of dust and dirt on the road and sites. There's sparse gravel. Don't plan on your Wi-Fi or satellite working very well because of the trees blocking the view to the satellite. It's a communications "black hole". The Wi-Fi and cable provided by Zephyr Cove are very weak and sporadic if even there at all. Not sure if we will be back.Restrooms: Clean and adequate.

We had a great week at Zephyr RV park. Despite a poor laundry situation it was lovely. Beautiful campground directly across the street from an awesome beach. Lots of younger people having a good time with friends. Stayed in site 184. Would definitely come back!

What's not to love? This place has it all and the staff is pretty amazing! You should go there but book in advance. They get full very quickly. Cabins and rv park are clean and great spot sizes.

We stayed here on the 27th of November 2023. It was our first and hopefully last experience with an Aramark location, the high light of our stay was someone calling to inform us of where our late check-in packet would be. It was all downhill from there. We found our site and went to the bathrooms that were CIRCLED on the map we were given, which were completely locked. So we found a different set of bathrooms which were open, hoping to take a nice warm shower at the end of a long day on the road and to use the bathroom. 1 out of the 7 bathrooms had toilet paper... okay... I guess the covid-era toilet paper shortages still affect the Tahoe area, cleaning supplies must be limited too as neither the bathrooms or showers looked like they had been cleaned in days. Moving onto the showers, hair filled the drains and litter was scattered across the floor. The water never got hotter than luke-warm to cool, not to mention the water pressure was the equivalent to someone spitting on you, which is exactly what it felt like to stay here for almost 50 dollars a night in the off-season. I encourage you to go somewhere, anywhere else.Restrooms: Gross

We stayed here the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. This park is located in Zephyr Cove, about 3 miles from South Lake Tahoe. It's nice to be just outside the business of Sth Lake Tahoe but close enough for the conveniences. The park is located just across the road from a beautiful beach with amazing views. (Once our neighbors left from site 165, we actually had Lake glimpses from our site). You also have easy access to Nth lake Tahoe up the east side of the Lake. Very quick and easy.Sites are large (there were some big gigs in the park), under the shade of beautiful trees. Sites are not 100% level. Bring some blocks. Our site was pretty level side to side, but front to back required some blocks. Our site was one of the more level ones.Wifi was great. 13mbs down, 6mbs up. (There are some Wireless G and some Wireless N access points. Connect to the Wireless N one - I think it was Access Point #2 - and it seemed faster)There was a little road noise (especially when our neighbors left, they must have been blocking the sound).Only criticism was check-in. On arrival it wasn't where you parked your RV, you had to cross the road to the main lodge gift shop to check in, which takes some time (Also, the gift shop has way overpriced supplies, but Safeway is less than 2 miles away)If you were to stay here in winter, each site has an electric heater on the water supply.

We stayed at the drive in section for tent camping. There is bathrooms with showers, drinking water , food storing boxes and coin op laundry. The beach it’s just across the highway.

Poor communication and management at this overcrowded campground. Check in required pulling into a traditional check in lane as indicated by the signage then find out you must cross a 4 lane road to check in…while your rig is in a line out into the street. Speaking with “Al” the manager…was like talking to a pine cone. His reply was simply they didn’t have enough staff to operate both places. Ok, I understand that is the world we live in, but also in that world we have 2 very efficient ways to communicate…email me or text me the process so I can get out of the way and expedite the interaction. I thanked one of the very nice campground attendants who used common sense and asked each camper to go to their site and then go check in! Brilliant. I asked why that wasn’t SOP in times like this…you know a plan B? Eyes rolled and said…great question…our management team doesn’t seem to understand the simplicity of it. 3 of us are traveling together..and all three of us were placed rear bumper to the 4 lane. The absolute WORST camping experience ever. These sites shouldn’t be offered….in fact they should create a buffer zone as the rest of the campground is nice…but TIGHT. Like really tight. Tahoe is beautiful…this campground is convenient to much. But it’s noisy and tight…and management needs training.

We love this campground.. the only reason to give it 4 stars instead of 5, is that it is REALLY tight for larger rigs... That just makes it a little stressful to get in your spot and set up. But the location is great, we had the best time walking across the street to the beach.

Great campsite and beautiful scenes everywhere, but needs some work. Few days ago, a man left some antifreeze on the picnic table and it stayed there ever since. Because of this, I feel like the staff needs to regularly check the park to keep it clean. Also watch where you step as most people who stay here don’t pick up after their dogs. Other than that, I enjoyed the park.

I’m not sure I fully agree with (what seems like) the majority of the reviews written. We stayed here three nights and didn’t feel like the sites were too close at all. I will say that most of the people staying here had these huge 45’ charter bus type motor homes that have a million slide outs. I can see why those people would feel more “tight” but people with more reasonably sized campers shouldn’t feel like this. The bathrooms and showers are individual rooms, so that part is nice. But the toilets are the aluminum type like in a prison haha so sitting on those was unsettling. But they do provide seat covers for you. They’re also not the cleanest showers I’ve ever been in but they were certainly clean enough to use. And nice and hot with great water pressure!Parking at the campground office, then walking across the busy street to check in at the general store is so ridiculous, especially because there’s an office AT the campground (that is unused). I asked at the store why this is and they said they changed it to this procedure during COVID and just have never changed it back.
