Don't understand the low scores given by so many. I received exceptionally warm, same-day service filling my prescription here. Everyone I dealt with behind the desk was awesome. I never waited in line for longer than a few minutes, and received unrushed & genuinely friendly care. I am moving my other prescription here as well.

Horrible service! All we bought was ice! We went to self checkout and I searched "ice" and I thought my husband was going to grab a 20lb bag but all they had was 16lb bags. No problem! I voided the first item to search 16lbs. I needed the employee override to void(older guy with a long gray pony tail, hat and blue shirt). He said "We don't have 20lb bags. The 20lb button is for the 16lb bag, then refused the void. I said okay, "I'd like to scan the bag itself." He said very defensively "it's going to be the same price, but whatever.." I said " well, I just want to scan it. You don't have to be so rude about it." We paid and started walking away and then he said "the only one being rude it you." I immediately found another employee and ashKed for a manager. He should not be working with the public.

As mentioned in several other reviews here, this pharmacy doesn't answer the phone, and calls get diverted to a full voicemail box. (or not ever returned if you get lucky-enough to leave a message)This is a problem, because, if you need something urgently, you can't call to see if they have it in stock. Additionally, as other reviewers have also pointed out, they often do not have items in stock.This is a pharmacy to avoid. There are many pharmacies that have far better customer service.

This is the most inefficient pharmacy I have ever encountered. They don't inform you if they don't have an important medication that your doctor ordered. They never, ever answer their phone. The male pharmacist is polite but not the female pharmacist. Their web site is very weak.

They have a policy of not answering the phone or listening to voicemail, which means it’s impossible for a doctor to call in a rx or for a patient to call to see if it’s ready. If you don’t have a rx written on a piece of paper you should not bother.

Called 14 times the day before left two messages. Called this morning at 9:00am left a message. Called again today at 1000 am and got through. Came in 4:00 pm and prescription still not ready. Have plenty of time to write this review while I wait for my meds to be filled. I know the pharmacy is busy and I sympathize with them, but what is going on in here? Please answer the phone or hire a clerk for the pharmacy.

Answering the phone is a basic, expected function for a pharmacy. As many reviewers point out, this pharmacy doesn't handle their phones. They have given up completely on customer service and actually caring about people who are in need.

THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. AND THEY NEVER CALL BACK IF YOU LEAVE MESSAGES. Good luck ever trying to refill or transfer a Rx to or from this place. Even when calling the Safeway pharmacy headquarters and having them call this location directly, they still do not answer the phone. When you go into the store in person its difficult to believe that they cannot even return a call back from messages left. We've been in the store in person often and frequently seen no customers at the pharmacy at all. I understand if its busy occasionally and no one can answer the phone at the moment, but to not even bother calling customers back who have left messages is just plain lazy and rude.

I tried to get my prescriptions transferred to this store three days ago. . They sent a fax. After three days I called my own pharmacy and they said they tried to call them but no one answered. Called Safeway back. They say they don't have time to answer the phone.

The pharmacy is very understaffed and I was not able to get through by phone but after going in, the pharmacist working was very kind and helpful and was doing his best given the computers had shut down earlier in the day and he had over 600 prescriptions to fill.

Finally got some nice staff, but the waits are killers. No chair for elderly or ill. Not the sraff's fault, but Safeway company should hire more help!

Most staff provides friendly service, only the best pharmacy in South Lake Tahoe area by far, very consistent, only one or two bad experiences in 3 years.

The staff at the Pharmacy in Roundhill are very efficient, thorough and provide excellent customer service. A neighborhood pharmacy in a supermarket!

The worst place ever, rude pharmacy manager, rude staff I transfer all my meds to Walmart worth the drive, tired of being lied to and it takes 5, days to get my medicine, the man needs to retire, I live in Tahoe but will drive 50 miles to get my meds sick of the rudeness they never answer the phones

The staff will answer the. phone... then put you on hold forever, I mean , they never come back. So frustrating, such a rude staff...can’t see how they have a job.
