Fully furnished, all utilities included, great location, super dog friendly, actual wood burning fireplace (perfect during the winter) also super warm wall heater, management and staff are great and very friendly! 20 minutes to Stagecoach chair lift on NV side of Heavenly ski resort. Walk across the street down to Marla Bay on the lake! stayed for over a year! great stay and perfect for my needs. Thank you Pine Cone Resort!

I was honestly not expecting much but this place blew away my expectations. Linda was the nicest manager ever and even answered my calls when we got lost at 2am (we drove 7 hours from Los Angeles.) The rooms were so cozy and felt like home. Our dog had so much fun and had tons of space to run around. It’s so close to everything as well and all the beaches. Would definitely stay here again!

The owner was gracious enough to allow us to have our organization spend time here for an afternoon staff retreat. The area was quiet and private. The outdoor space had plenty of seating for our staff including picnic tables and patio swings. The resort is in a good location, close to all of the Stateline restaurants and shops, and the staff were welcoming and helpful when we arrived.

Pine Cone Resort is an amazing place among the trees to lay your head! It truly gives you the feeling of coming home again …. Or like you’ve found the coziest cabin in all of Lake Tahoe. This place is special. Built with gorgeous wood it has a real Pine like feel. We enjoyed numerous toasty evenings by the wood burning fireplace. Wood was even provided in our room upon arrival. The staff was available for any requests. The beach is across the way andKayaks were available for our use. It’s just down the road from grocery shopping, casinos restaurants and Heavenly ski resort. Book a stay the Pine Cone Resort. You’ll love it!

The experience was so bad that I forfeited my $1,800 deposit in order to move out I was surrounded by dirtbags and tweakers. The owner of the facility is a liar regarding his military duty/status additionally he attempted to enter my unit three times without authorization thankfully I had a huge dog there. There is no snow removal service during the winter time so if you don't have a large truck and it snows you're in major trouble. Also the rates are ridiculous if you spend some time and look throughout the area you will find a much better value for your money $2,000 for a one bedroom poorly outfitted unit or $2,200 for a house in town you choose..

Cozy place. Great view. Love all the huge trees surrounding the place. The room was nice, but a little tight for 6 people. The bathroom sink had terribly low water pressure. Shower was ok, but the fit was tight. Short drive to the nearest grocery store and to get into town for fun and dinning. Overall has a great time.

My girlfriend and I just stayed there last night we got snowed in Monday afternoon after the Superbowl, but we've been going there for years. The staff is great they truly go above and beyond the lady who cleaned our room went out and picked up a pizza we ordered and brought it back to us truly appreciate it not a lot of people will do that for someone truly appreciate it !! Nice big screen TV, fireplace, full kitchen, comfortable couches and beds perfect place for a getaway. Right by the grocery store and casinos Harvey and Harrah's. A must go to and prices are good cabins are clean and comfortable!!

This is a great pet friendly place to come stay for a weekend, a week, a month, a season. The owner and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and your stay enjoyable.i stayed for a few seasons (8 months) and was routinely asked if everything was to my liking, and any requests I had were acted upon quickly. The ambiance is old world Swiss/Tyrolean. There's a nice sense of privacy with the units spaced so you don't feel crammed together. All downstairs units have their own dog runs easily accessible through doggy doors, and come to think of it I rarely heard other people's dogs. Real stone fireplaces too. It's located an easy 5 minutes from Stateline, has nearby restaurants and a Safeway, but is also just far enough away from the congestion of South Lake Tahoe to have you believing the Ponderosa must be just around the corner. This is the sort of place that has great character, is perfect for pets and families, and people end up coming back again and again.

I have been coming here for 6+ years with my family and friends. This is the great place I will always stay in Tahoe. It had everything I wanted a small kitchen, cozy sitting area, fireplace, a big screen tv. The beds were also comfy and everything was clean. Its is only about 10 drive from shops and restaurants and casinos, when I wanted to be in the center of all the action.

A quaint and charming gem tucked into the trees. Our unit had everything we needed for a great stay. Robert Taylor, the owner, was gracious and took care of all our needs, as did the other staff. We had a wonderful time at Pine Cone Resort. It was so relaxing and peaceful.

I'm a veteran who went in for a joint interview with my wife, Mr. Taylor( the owner) falsely claimed over and over that he was still active military ( army) and kept bragging about his accomplishments and friends high up in the c.i.a. when I asked to see his active duty military ID he presented me with the old old id's that were issued back before I first joined in 2000 before they made theswitch to chip and new veteran ID cards. Mr Taylor presentedme the OLD one and said he just hasent got around to updating it...which makes ZERO sense if he is active duty. And to top it off ,while in interviewprocess he repeatedlywould ask when me and my wife started dating, when we first got intimate, our bank account information,he repeatedlytold my wife that at 44 she is to old to do house keeping which deeply embarrassedher among other things. And while we stayed in one of his " bridal suites" he came and tried to walk in my room because he smelled marijuana..when I told him he cannot come in because my wife was sleeping he got irate and I shut the door before he could come in. Then he threatenedt o call the cops on me even thgh I said this situation is not working out and we will be out by check out. The local police also said that he is already known to them. The room was very homey and the location is prettynice. But dealing with this wanna be hippie/ cult leader/ active duty army officer with shoulder length hair definitely over rides the beauty that this property could offer. Just make sure to really get a feel for the owner before booking your stay or you just might find him looking through your windows or delving into your personal lives. BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT TRUST THE OWNER. Employeeswere very nice and professional,it's the owner who's the embarrassment and own worst enemy. thatI

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The bathroom was spotless as well. It was nice to have a kitchen with utensils and pots and pans present. The place was also dog friendly so that was an extra plus.

I have not stayed here as a guest yet but will soon. My fiancé and I are renting their courtyard for our wedding reception. This place is absolutely beautiful and serene. Located so close to 2 local beaches and not too far from town but far enough that you still feel like your in the country. The staff is swset and helpful. I can't wait until we stay here.

We stayed at a 1 bedroom apartment which came fully equiped. The decor is pretty rustic just as you woukd imagine a cabin to be. We were a total of four adults and a kid and we were pretty comfotable. The only downside was the wifi that didn'twork steadily during our stay.

Tried to make a reservation through the Air Bnb app where they displayed they had availability. They left my reservation pending without contacting me. Shortly before the pending reservafion expired, I called the main phone number of the resort to only be told they had absolutely no availability at any properties for months. They advertise on Air Bnb to run extra traction on their properties but are not properly updating availability. The customer service rep on the phone was rude and had no interest in hearing customer feedback on how to better update their availability.

Wow! This blew out of the water the half-dozen other hotels & resorts researched by my wife, Ms. Shopper. Fully-furnished 1-bedroom suite--sleeps 6--kitchen, WDSL, cable w DVD player, fireplace, NICE pool, big hot tub, nestled amongst awesome towering pine trees. Classic old Tahoe! Steps to Lake beach, near convenient shopping & the casinos. But close to Nature. Nan and the ladies in the office are wonderfully helpful and fun! We'll definitely be back next year.

Where we stayed it was advetised for up to 6 people with a pull out couch. There was no pull out couch. Also the stove didn't have any knobs to be able to cook anything. The fireplace was a nice touch. Oh yeah and if you dont come prepared with any blankets you're pretty much screwed

The Pine Cone Resort...I wouldn't even call it a resort. It sounds nice everything you read about it, but once you get there your in for a horrible surprise. I planned my wedding here and it was a complete disaster!!! They charge top dollar for everything they do and then go and give you horrible service! Rev. Rob was Great! Everything besides him was absolutely Horrible! Nothing was set up or ready on time for the wedding. The pool was filthy dirty...oh and yea right on keeping it heated, it was soooo cold. There was not enough parking, and it was hard enough just to park your own car. The rooms are not as big or cozy as they say they are. I tried to get an extra pillow and no one would help me, said they don't give extra pillows!! What resort doesn't give extra pillows!!!??? I overheard the way the owner spoke to and treated his employees and I was shocked that someone could get away with treating their employees so badly. My heart goes out to all those that work there under those conditions. I would NOT reccomend this place to anyone ever! Try staying at The Big Pines Mountian House of Tahoe. Thats where I ended up staying and it was Excellent!!

HATE is an overly strong and ugly word; this place is slightly worse than just OK.....- Yeah, it has a fireplace, but I wouldn't want to lie on the floor in front of it because the antiquated green carpets are soiled from previous tenants' dogs; there is a slightly notable odor of urine in the air.- The white-washed concrete stucco-looking walls and antique 70's-style paneling give an outdated feel.- The toilet has been jerry-rigged but continues to leak; the shower head is clogged with calcium build-up offering either a fire-hose-powered "shower massage" or a trickling regular shower.- It has a tiny, cramped kitchenette with a small stove and oven does have a clean, newer looking, nicely sized refrigerator.- There is really no eating table per se; one must sit on bar stools against the kitchen counter/bar to eat a meal.- Inadequate closet space anywhere in the unit other than the single bedroom prevents the hanging-up/storage of jackets, winter coats and/or skiing equipment in a conveniently accessible location. . .- Front door only access into the unit poses, in my opinion, a potential fire hazard.-There is a "doggy door" which allows Fido to let himself outside into a poorly lit, damp kennel (dog run) to do his business. However, one must purchase a padlock to secure the area because the key to the previous lock (which hangs from a flimsy chain) is not provided.- Two key-chains containing 2 door keys each were provided with no explanation as to which key goes to which lock. Experimentation proved that only one of the total 4 keys opens the two locks on the front door. What are the other 3 keys for????- Dusty Venetian-style blinds barely block any sunlight or street lights.- A flimsy screen-netting hangs in front of the front door to prevent insects from entering the unit, but has only two postage-stamp sized velcro tabs on each side to secure it to - and to close the gaps with - the threshold. In closing, the place will keep you warm and dry......but it ain't no Hilton.

Great location and just a quick little drive to Stateline and Heavenly village. The host was very friendly and extremely accommodating. The room was cozy with a cabin-like feel and decor. Dog friendly with dog run attached to the room was a nice perk. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone traveling and staying in the area.

Very great place to stay! We did Airbnb and it was fantastic! The place we stayed at was a but farther than we thought but it was awesome. Close to the strip and very quiet location to stay with a bunch of friends and family. Will be coming to this place again.

Horrible management first I called and you could barely hear the guy also they seem very uninterested in having you book a stay there. I then requested a 3 night stay on air b&b and they ended up declining it because “the dates were not available” so then they updated the dates and I requested it another time (from the dates that were listed as available) and they reply with petty short replies saying those dates are still not available, which is horrible customer service. As a business in 2021 you really need to step up your game, not everyone wants to give out their card information through the phone. Seems like they don’t like having anyone book their stay through air b&b so they should take the post down. They mention nothing about calling on the air b&b post and even then I wouldn’t give them a penny to stay there because of the horrible customer service they provide.
