It is amazing place. Very silent at the winter.

Great place to spend the day, or weekend! Nice beach, clean bathrooms, benches, and picnic tables. In our most recent visit we flew kites and watched the sunset. It was beautiful. It is worth paying the $10 to park and parking passes are good all day so you can come and go of needed. The natural setting is a great backdrop for photos too. We can't wait to try camping on the beach next summer!

Among all the campsites during our vanlife over 17 days, this got to be one of the favorites! It’s so serene, peaceful, quiet and the campsites are well spread out. U have killer sunrise/ sunset views too!Do stay here if U’re considering where to stay in Lake Tahoe area. I’ll be back for sure. Fyi: as with all the popular campgrounds, better to book it six months in advance as the reservations roll out!

Lots of neat places to explore, meadows, and rocks to climb....but the dog beach is full of people with mean dogs! I have a sweet lovable pit mix that gets along with every dog and he was getting looks from everyone!! Meanwhile, their mean poodles, and little beast were attacking my dog! My dog ran from them thankfully, but it's just a bunch of judgemental uptight dog snobs there....not a place for us. Beach is also very narrow. Not a lot of running room. Very crowded. Beautiful, but never going back. Stay on the hiking trails. Way less crowded and more fun#

Very nice beach for watching the sunset. Lots of great sand, can be a little on the windy side but fine for sunbathing. Staff for campground registration was super friendly and hoped me out even though I didn't have a reservation. Helpful tip... They have three campsites for drive ups but they don't release them until 5pm. Bathrooms where clean, campground was clean and it seems the guests here are respectful and quite.

Not at all crowded since it’s December. Very pleasant and peaceful to walk along the beach with a brisk, cool wind and splashing of water. Beautiful setting with snow capped peaks in the horizon and tall pine trees everywhere. Worth a visit even in winter. I’m sure this place is rocking during summer.

Our favorite campground! You're basically on Lake Tahoe for a fraction of the price of nearby homes. Sites are large and well spaced. We even squeezed in our 30' 5th wheel into a space rated for a 26' trailer one time (didn't realize till after because it appeared in my search when I filtered for our size RV). It's quiet, well maintained, and the staff are friendly.

When we got there, the beach was closed, but you were still allowed to walk down the trail and play in the sand and cool, clear, water. You can bring your dogs too. Just keep in mind that when it's closed, the bathrooms are not open.

Good little spot hidden away from the crowd. Free curb parking & it was our own little snow playground. No one was there. We spent a few hours out playing, making a snowman & sledding. Cool little spot. Beats paying $20 per person elsewhere with large crowds & long lines. We bought the sled for $20 at a nearby Safeway. A fun family day.

It's a complete joy to spend time here! Beautiful sandy beaches with lots of space, crystal clear Tahoe waters and incredible views of the Sierras. Well kept clean beaches with easy parking during the week and convenient restroom facilities. This is now our go to beach whenever we're in Lake Tahoe.

The Nevada Beach and campground are beautiful! Reserve your camp space right at the 6 month opening date. They go fast. The day use beach is also busy so plan ahead and show up early, before 9am for decent choices to pitch your embrella. Well maintained facilities. No dogs on the beach at the day use beach.

We didn't camp but wanted to be lakeside with our dog. Others didn't observe the leash laws and their dogs kept running at our service dog repeatedly. It was stressful not knowing whether these dogs were playful or aggressive, so we left. Otherwise, from what we saw it is a beautiful area to camp in and swim and watch the sunset.

Wonderful "beach" in Lake Tahoe that I have been visiting for years. My family lives near Stateline, and this is our go to spot for a great walk, breathtaking views, and some easy outdoor time. During the winter, it is desolate with hardly any people. During the summer, this beach can get PACKED with lots of people, and lots of dogs.Normally we walk through the nearby forest/meadow that surrounds the beach to get to the beach before spending some time there. There are lots of trails that lead to the beach, so feel free to park further out, near the main road, and enjoy the walk in. This beach and walk is great during all seasons, and should not disappoint. Enjoy!

Lots of water, lots of sand. Parking fills up midday but there's a good amount of street parking leading up to it. Not as busy as some of the California side beaches. Wonderful views of the setting sun.

Clean, beautiful beach, far end of beach allows dogs, fresh water bathrooms, summer time they have kayak rentals, there is a campground but no showers. Easy walking to beach. Good size locking bear cabinets at each camp sight. Approx 1/2 mile, outside park, there is a shopping center.

A really great space. I was there with my 3 year old and could find a nice piece of beach for her to play and splash in the lake. Lots of party goers not to far from us having sounding like they were having a great time. To large size of the sandy area makes it easy for everyone to have a great time.It did not have boat hiring stands, which may have helped keep the crowds down during memorial day, when we visited. Water was also very cold.

It's a pretty beach, but not the best in town. The sand is very gravely, like others have commented. Nice views and it's before the super hectic Heavenly Village shopping area.

Visually-stunning silver waters under a fully-clouded, misty sky with snow draped mountains as backdrop. The beauty was beyond words...

During unpopulated times, great place to take family. Sand is hard to walk in and geese are around. Springtime is beautiful to avoid smoke obscurred views of the lake and mountains. We always walk from worldmark resort.

Fitball jumping, line walking, silk dancing, and aerobics. Lots of things to be seen at Nevada beach especially when you're hanging with the right crew or if you happen to show up on the right day.

We had a wonderful picnic here. They have an entrance fee of $10 but it was so worth it. Very clean.

Nevada beach is a very pretty Beach, I suggest you park at the Kahle trail on Kahle Ave. It is a beginner level trail. Take the walk through the Kahle medow to Nevada beach and enjoy the veiw of the western shore of Lake Tahoe. I will say the Beach tends to be windy.

Found this bad boy 4/2/19 at 12:30 AM- beautiful place, super nice staff, no hookups but great and clean campgrounds. $35 or $39 a night. Paved road, flush toilets, 2 min walk to lake with stunning views

Gorgeous view, not too far of a walk from the parking lot to the water, picnic tables, wooden walk way over the sand in one area, restrooms, kayak and paddle board rental...It does cost $10 to come in for the day.

The parking was $10 the water was beautiful the sand was clean but very course. The actual facilities were filthy there was porta pottys & they were nasty/smelly you could smell them & the trash cans from across the parking lot. They were in desperate need of dumping the trash was overflowing there was trash piled up over, on top of, & all around the trash can area. If they cleaned up the facilities I would give it a 5

We reserved the day use area on a busy Saturday afternoon. The pavillion was fantastic. Covered area with 10 tables and 3 big bbq areas. We only used one bbq pit to cook food for 50 people. The rangers were very helpful and nice. They kept our 6 reserved parking spots open, shooed out the people who were squatting at the tables, and did a great job cleaning up from an earlier party. The place is right on the beach, with a great swim area right there. Fantastic views and fun.The only negative was the parking. 6 spaces for a site for 150 people is ridiculous. We managed with 50....barely.It also was not very private. Be prepared to keep people from wandering in and making themselves at home.
