Horrible Customer Service! Brought my family here the other night and was highly disappointed! Starting with the service . The male waiter who served us had an attitude the entire time as if we were inconveniencing him. As a group of 8 we time to think about our order he constantly rushed us with his sour mug . After serving us he did not once check on us . He was we too busy watching the basketball game trying to get his sports bet right for march madness smh. I had to physically get up and ask for extra things needed for the table!Now the food! lol. Let’s start with the “Jumbo” wings that are not at all jumbo. They are small winglets. One of the most driest and bland burritos I’ve ever tasted and I’ve never went to a cantina that did not get the carne asada right! Tastes super dry and ripe!! To put a cherry on top my Girlfriend had a nice long hair in her meal for extra flavor . When asked to take off the bill the waiter once again had a terrible attitude shaking his head as if did not have a bad experience and didn’t gag on a strand of hair smh! I will avoid this place if I’m Tahoe! I will never come here again !

They need help. I waited 15 minutes before I was asked to be seated and I was the only one waiting. It was not a full restaurant. Then they forgot me... did not ask if I wanted a drink or anything. I wanted to order to go and they were out of steak and carnitas. This is unheard of for Mexican Restaurant. This was at 530pm and not before closing. Terrible communication and it seems like they only care and serve large parties. I was alone. Bad customer service.

The most amazing food I've eaten in a long time. This place is amazingly tasty, truly great Mexican food.... and I'm from Texas, the mecca of great Mexican food. The chili rellenos are done right, fluffy egg coating,; the fish and shrimp tacos were so crispy and delicious. And, if you really want to experience nirvana this side of Heaven, try their garlic fries. Finish off with flan and the plantains and you'll be in Heaven! Definitely coming back when I'm back this way.

Always excellent. The food and drinks are super delicious. The staff is very friendly and honest. The service is timely. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Tahoe, one of our favorite dining spots here.

We went here while on our yearly vacation to Tahoe. I can officially say that we will continue to come here every year we come back! The food was soooo good. I had the Chile Verde Plato and it was amazing the homemade tortillas were so good. There was only one guy helping all the tables, but he did such a great job. I saw him going to table to table and he made sure everyone was happy. I was very impressed. Can't wait until next time!

Took my wife and daughter here for dinner. I ordered the chicken mole and thought that it was just as good as the same dish I order back in the bay area but was 6 dollars less.When we were there they were extremely busy but our food came out quickly. Will definitely swing by next time we are in Stateline.

Showed up for a to go order. Server was not friendly or welcoming and didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in. Kind of treated with distain.Expect an automatic 20% on your to go order.As for the food, we have a child allergic to dairy….after repeating this three times, his food showed up with cheese. Burrito was packed with all filler and no meat. Sour cream was rancid…Overall very disappointing. During the time of year when tourism is at its lowest and a restaurant needs returning customers to pay the bills, they won’t see returning customers treating people this way.I’ll drive across town in a blizzard before eating here again!

Cute restaurant. We were seated immediately, but that's unfortunately where our good experience ended. I ordered one of their famous margaritas, but got a disappointing cocktail in a small glass. The waitress spoke so softly we couldn't understand her, but she did seem sweet. However, she kept forgetting about us. There was only one other party of 2 in there at the time. I got the shrimp tacos and they were alright. Not bad but nothing to rave about. Husband got the salmon, which was alright but incredibly spicy(our fault for not having a tolerance). The rice and beans wore the worse I've ever had. The rice was bland and mushy. The beans were pale and also bland. His and asked for a water refill. The girl took his cup and never came back. Just kept refilling everyone's chips? It was a really odd experience and I feel like something more is going on around there. I hope it turns around. The gentleman was helpful, but was running around a lot. I truly hope this was just a weird and random experience with this place.

I stumbled across this hidden gem while going to safeway in the same shopping center. I noticed quite a few people enjoying their dinner, and it peaked my interest. I'm glad we tried this restaurant. I had the carne asada with rice and beans, tortillas, and a michelada. The steak was cooked to perfection. Overall, everything on the plate was delicious. I really enjoyed the michelada. There is plenty of seating inside and outside.

Came in here on a Saturday night and it wasn’t busy at all. Service was terrible, food was so so. Had to bring my check up to the bar just to cash out because the young gal serving us went MIA. Brought it to the guy just standing at the bar (wasn’t a bartender), and he didn’t say anything, just gave it to another guy to cash us out. If you’re looking for so so Mexican food with a side of bad service this is the spot for you!!

I've eaten here before and the service was fantastic with a middle-aged gentleman serving us. I don't think he was the owner, but definitely made sure we were taken care of. But this time, two kids were working there I had to wait to get greeted, service was slow, nobody asked how my food was, and nobody thanked me. Not sure if they changed ownership, but the service was lack luster.Fortunately the food was good.

The salsa and guacamole is good. The waitress was very kind and attentive. However, our main meals were not good at all. I even had simple cheese enchiladas so it’s not like it was a complicated dish. The rice was bland and the beans looked like mashed pintos instead of the usual refried beans. The margarita was also gross… like an over ripe lemon bitter taste.

I ordered to go, but they charged 18% "automatic service fee gratuity". I feel it is ridiculous.Besides I asked him if the chicken is spicy, he said "no, it is sweet" , so I ordered it for my 9 years old daughter, it turned out, a kind of mix of sweet and spicy flavor, not very good. Don't go.

Honestly good service, the food however is the reason for the one star. Our waiter took good care of us, drinks, chips and salsa, good timing with our food orders, etc, etc.After placing our food orders, the food was out of the kitchen and on the table in 5 minutes. On one hand, awesome turn around time! However, I don't believe our food was fresh. I believe our food was microwaved before getting to the table. My partners dish was entirely inedible, soggy, cold, the beans were watery, the rice was flavorless. My dish was flavorless and had a weird texture about it.When I told our server what was going on, he was very polite about it. We had barely touched our food, he said no need to pay, the plates were on them. Thank goodness, but the dishes were seriously lackluster. I would have much rather waited 15-30 mins for fresh food than had microwaved leftovers.

Best margaritas ever! My new favorite! Has the most perfect home made salsa, made from super fresh, all organic ingredients. Nothing canned, nothing frozen. The flavor pops!! Fresh and delicious food, the best host, and they did everything perfect! I would suggest you give them a try! Never disappointed!

Been coming here since the place open back in August of 2018 they have a very fairly priced menu for the area the drinks are nice and strong the bar tenders tend to be heavy handed which is allways a bonusThe waiters are allways fun to be around, they allways make a phenomenal meal. They get better every month as time goes on and I will allways continue to come back and enjoy a nice quesadilla and margarita. Keep up the good work you guys.

Amazing!!! Best Mexican Cuisine in Tahoe. My husband Loves the Gordo steak meal. I love the fajitas! Steak and shrimp seasoned and flavorful and veggies grilled to perfection. Great and very friendly service always. Favorite family dinner spot

Worst service. Definitely not a family restaurant. How you mess up nachos with just cheese TWICE is beyond me. Never got refilled drinks. The staff spent the majority of our stay on their phones. Overall just a Terrible experience for our first time in Tahoe eating. Would not recommend at all.
