I highly recommend doing this shoreline tour! A friend and I did this for my birthday today! Perfect weather no boats on the water at 9am! We had crystal clear glass water. The fools gold was neat to see too! Our guide Jason Was fantastic, funny and informative! Josh was also very helpful at the check in and recommended some wonderful hiking and spots to check out after our tour! October is the time to go!

Absolutely exceptional experience with Clearly Tahoe! We had the pleasure of having Kelsey and Neila as our kayak tour guides for the day, and they were phenomenal. Their training was top-notch, ensuring we were comfortable and confident in no time. Both were incredibly patient, always smiling, and their knowledge was impressive.Exploring in clear kayaks was a unique adventure, made even better by Kelsey's energy and Neila's informative guidance. They brought the experience to life with fascinating stories, especially the captivating tale of the Lady of the Lake. There was so much to discover, and they explained everything clearly and engagingly.If you're looking for an unforgettable kayak tour, I highly recommend Clearly Tahoe and specifically Kelsey and Neila. A very fun time. Staff were all accommodating and easy to deal with. Jason was a great tour guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to sincerely love the job and the Lake Tahoe area. Formerly a certified rescue swimmer with the marines. Something he didn’t tell us until chatting with him afterwards. Apparently we came off as a relaxed group who didn’t need their collective nerves calmed, but if anyone looking to try this out does need that reassurance then there you go. The lake was gorgeous and the clear bottom kayak definitely added to the visual experience. The workout level was a nice balance between leisurely and good pace. Overall, a worthwhile activity that will probably add to your trip and leave you with some great photos/memories.

I have to warn you, if you’re booking a kayak tour be prepared for bad dad jokes! All jokes aside, this was a great experience. Russ was outstanding with his knowledge of the lake and his humor was great! The water was crystal clear, the weather was perfect and the atmosphere at Cleary Tahoe was very welcoming. From checking in, getting fitted for the life jackets and the car ride to the lake. The staff is great and you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. If you have any bad experiences, just make sure to blame Jeff! 😂 thanks for the great tour and experience!-the Chicagoans

Great company, friendly, good safety briefing, professional, and good price. The kayaking itself in sand harbor is absolutely amazing. The water is so clear and you can kayak along the rocks and boulders, see a waterfall (at least this year it was there), Bonsai Rock, and the Thunderbird Lodge. Did all that in 2 hours. You might want to take 3 if you want to go lazily about it or get out of the kayak along the way. I wanted to do it again right after we got back! Go early as it gets busy later and also the wind is lesser in the mornings.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Gorgeous paddle on Lake Tahoe thanks to Clearly Kayak Rental at Sand Harbor. It was only their 2nd day in operation and everything went great. The equipment was top notch, water breathtaking and staff went above and beyond to make our experience the absolute best! Thanks, especially to Jeff, who hooked us up with some super-sweet boats!!! We’ll be back!!!

10/10 recommend clearly Lake Tahoe tours! Our original tour was cancelled due to weather, however, all of the staff was amazing and for us rebooked the next morning before we left the area! We were so impressed by the awesome customer service and quality of the tour guides! We enjoyed Russ and Jake for making our experience wonderful!

This kayaking tour was perfect for exploring South Lake Tahoe. They provide transportation to the site and snacks and waters. Our guide Dim provided so much information on the native history of Lake Tahoe and Cave Rock, as well as numerous recommendations for hikes, restaurants, and more. Paddling was very easy early in the morning, but tour was lengthy and rewarding. A must do!!

Absolutely a MUST DO at Lake Tahoe!! Clear kayaks can hold either 1 or 2 people. We met in Incline Village for the Sand Harbor tour, and everything started in a friendly, timely manner. They catered to all needs and type of guests, offer dry bags for your belongings, and some water and snacks while boating. Our driver Scott was such a pleasure and full of great conversation. Lauren was our guide, and wow were we impressed! She's informative, personable, and a great professional. We learned so much from her and really loved her as a guide. If you're staying in Lake Tahoe, this is a must do. Thank you, Clearly Tahoe!

Cleary Tahoe was an amazing experience! Seeing the wonderful crystal clear water up close was amazing. Our tour guide Jason was so informative and definitely knows the lake well. We will definitely do another tour next time we visit.

We had an amazing time with the clearly Tahoe staff. Our guide Veronica was very knowledgeable and friendly. The other staff on board were great too. On the boat they had snacks and beverages which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend booking through them if you want to see parts of the lake and learn some facts along the way.

In July my husband and I eloped to Lake Tahoe. On the morning of our wedding we took the extended shoreline kayak tour at 7:30am. It was absolutely stunning. Quiet and serene and the water smooth as glass. The group was very small (only 5) and it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Our guide Kelsey was very knowledgable and we learned a lot about the lake and coves we explored. One of the coves happened to be the place above which we would be getting married later in the evening. She made our day extra special by playing a wedding tune when we paddled into the cove and getting some great photos as well. It's a treasured memory and experience we hope to repeat someday!

I booked the clear bottom kayak tour 3mos before our arrival in Lake Tahoe. I was so excited for it, and was not disappointed. Jason was our guide, he was fun and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Lake Tahoe, if you can believe that. My 16yr old daughter also had an amazing time. Totally worth the wait, and the money. Don't hesitate, book it!!

Took a night tour from South Lake location and did a morning ride at Sand Harbor. Super chill staff, Jason was a great guide for the night tour. HIGHLY recommend renting from these guys, its worth the experience!

This is a must activity if you are exploring Lake Tahoe! We we in group but the other group fell behind so Scott Mitchell gave us a great tour and history of the lake. Scott took some amazing pictures while we were kayaking. Thanks for the amazing experience 😁 definitely will book this again!!!

Went on the 10:00 PM LED stargazing tour and it was absolutely a blast. Our guide, Jason, made the experience all the more fun with his enthusiasm as he guided us within the Marina looking for beavers and a bit further into the lake as we turned off the lights on our kayak to witness the grandeur of a starry night at Tahoe. I would highly recommend Jason as we look forward to our next tour with CLEARLY TAHOE.

My family and I did the bonsai rock tour. The staff was really friendly and the water was beautiful but the logistics were lacking. We spent a lot of time in the car trying to get into park. The actual kayaking was pretty short and you don’t really see a whole lot. The instructor didn’t let us explore so we only ended up kayaking for about an hour. Next time I would probably try to find kayaks you can rent without the guide. The tour cost us almost $500 for 4 people so at that price point I expect perfection.

Hands down one of our favorite experiences while vacationing in Tahoe! Geoff was an awesome guide - very knowledgeable and kept us laughing! Kelsie was great to work with. She was professional and still very personable. And our driver was awesome too! Every person we dealt with was incredibly nice, accommodating, and experienced. You can tell they all love their jobs and Lake Tahoe. 💗 Customer service was outstanding. We left the experience wanting to do it again! The best way to experience Lake Tahoe. Highly recommended!!!

Highly recommended Clearly Tahoe if you are looking for clear kayak. Their kayaks are truly transparent, even those air bags. They also provide bottled water and snacks for the customers, so SWEET!!! The tour guides are super nice as well. And they cleaned every boat before the use.

My friend and I tried this last minute assumed we could just show up and book a tour, we were told we were lucky a spot opened up, it is rare to be able to find a tour last minute the day of, best recommended to book in advance. Our tour guide was so friendly and made our experience much more memorable. When we reached our photo spot, she got off her kayak and took individual pictures for everyone in our group with her phone, she sent us our picture at the end. I LOOOVED mine to say the least. So glad we stopped and were able to have a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

This was our second tour with Clearly Tahoe. Both times we went out with 12+ people and qualified for a private tour! The first time we kayaked out of Cave Rock (fabulous) and this time we launched from Sand Harbor and headed to Bonsai Rock. It was also FABULOUS! Eric was our main guide both times and he's wonderful!I cannot say enough great things about this company, the people who work there, the clear kayaks and the EXPERIENCE! We WILL do it again and again!Do not hesitate ... you will LOVE it!

The staff was super friendly and helpful! The kayaks are clear, so you feel like you’re sitting in a clear bathtub paddling on a crystal clear blue and turquoise lake! It’s awesome! Our tour guide was Josh and he made the kayak tour fun with his knowledge of the lake and surrounding area, he even had some fun “dad jokes”. It was a great experience and absolutely beautiful!

TRULY AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE WITH A KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY TOUR GUIDE. We called to make reservations, ask about the water clarity (due to the ash from the fires) and even what to wear since it was unexpectedly colder than we anticipated & we're Floridians! The owner was so friendly and beyond helpful with all of our questions. We booked for the same day & we're lucky we were the 2nd of 2 tours that day since it was off season. They met us at the designated parking lot & took us to the launch point. There were 2 friendly furry 4 legged creatures on the bus whom quickly became our friends on the short journey. The clear kayaks were already on the beach & ready to go. They were easy to maneuver, the water was a little choppy but still gorgeous and the tour guide Ryder could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable. And he was happy to snap some great pics for us!
