Stopped here specifically to buy Basque chorizo to haul back home on the airplane. There were several varieties of the chorizo made by Uptown (links, breakfast-sized links, and without casing). Amazing find!!!

Been going to Uptown since I can remember. And still have to go back when I'm in town visiting. My fave are the pizza sticks. That was our go-to lunch back in high school! When I'm in town, I have to go get some. And honestly. It's the only place I have found Creamies. I love that ice cream bar! You can find most anything. It's just a big grocery store in mini size.

Cozy little mom and pop store excellent for bringing in a deer or side of beef to be butchered for you. Fair prices and friendly stuff. Hot deli specials daily and some of the coldest beer in town.

Since we moved from Winnemucca Uptown Market has become one of our fond memories. From processing wild game, the best chorizo in the US, and the feeling that it was ok to let your kids still walk to the store. Thank you for being there! P.S. My daughter would love some pizza rolls! Lol

I went in and asked for a large amount of chorizo to take back to Missouri and they the girl said she would call me the next day and never did. I'm from here and love the chorizo and would of loved to share the good news with my Missouri co-workers and friend and family.
