This place was recommended by the local hotel The Silverland as a place to get a warm breakfast and coffee. It has a limited breakfast as it is more of a coffee shop which was fine. I got a large coffee with cream and it was very good once you get used to the flavor of the coffee. Breakfast was a waffle combo (scrambled eggs with grated cheese and bacon) the eggs were excellent, I liked the grated cheese, the bacon has an excellent smokey flavor but was a bit over cooked (dry) and the waffle was over cooked, very dry and crumbly, didn't really taste like waffle batter either. But I ate it. Overall a good breakfast nice folks and nice establishment. They have seating indoors and out, outdoors has some killer views, indoors has tables and counter space.

Nice little coffee shop with solid coffee and also serves ice cream (small variety of flavours), the ice cream cones were nice but a bit small servings. Indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of space. Outdoor seating looks over the valley so nice view. COVID rules posted and mask required. Not too crowded and friendly staff and quick service. Worth a visit if you are looking for coffee or ice cream.

Go here. We had the best tiny cup of coffee here! The view is amazing and breakfast was so good I had a bagel and cream cheese! Mom in law had the egg and toast usual, but our tiny coffees were sooo good I compare it to every coffee now! Wish I would’ve thought to take a photo but just so good! Single shot of espresso with ice and half and half 2 ounces? May have had a chunk of ice in there. Really cute gem outside Reno Nevada. Look into the train from and to Reno instead of driving. Museums nearby.Parking: Stupid

You would think this coffee house was there "forever" like just about everything else. Well, the building used to be a saloon in the old days, and didn't become a place of finr coffee until about 10 years ago.I got a really good cup of Mocha there. We drank part of our coffee drinks from their deck in the back while looking at the view of the hills.They actually roast coffee beans there and sell it on site and on-line.If you are wanting a good cup of coffee while you are in Virginia City, I would highly recommend The Roasting House.

Great little place in the beautiful Virginia City. Made my Louisiana tummy very happy. The panini was well worth it and the slaw was fresh and delicious. Beautiful outdoor patio in the back. Was a little chilly so we went inside. Recommended if your are visiting this area.

Pop into this local coffee shop to see the historic roaster. If the weather’s nice, make sure to sit out back on the beautiful patio and enjoy the downslope view of town and the surrounding mountains.Lunch options consist of hot pressed panini and soups — standards. The ambiance, more so than the food itself, make this place a highlight.

Amazing back porch seating area with full panoramic view of the valley! They have soy, almond, and coconut milk available for their coffee drinks, etc. I loved my Red Light panini and the unique Bazberry drink!

Cute store with a wonderful outdoor deck. My husband loves coffee (I'm not a coffee drinker). He had an iced coffee and then we went back and bought a bag of their dark roast, which they ground fresh while we waited. We heard from locals their food and ice cream is excellent (we did not get either).

What great place for someone with gluten allergies (and I think dairy too). I dread going away, because I have to ask for food a specific way because I cannot have gluten amongst other things. I was so happy to be able to go and get breakfast there. Gluten free waffles, they got it down. I had a cappuccino, which not every place gets right. It was perfect!! I would recommend going here if you are in Virginia City and have gluten allergies.The service was great too. The staff very friendly and greeted us with a smile.

Coffee tasted terrible. Didn't have that fresh zesty coffee flavor. Tasted bland and boring. We expected good coffee because of the name of the business and it's implied they're all about the coffee, but it was quite the opposite. I know Virginia City is out away from main routes, but for a coffee house you would think it might be decent. You would have much better coffee brewing Folgers in your motel room or at your campsite. I just hate wasting money on things that are supposed to be slightly enjoyable but end up being something you want to water plants with.
