Tried Sasquatch at the recommendation of a friend. Small location, but tables turned quickly and staff handled a busy Friday night with ease. Location is loud, but that’s expected. Tried the Fried Calamari and the Seafood Pan Fry, both were good although the pan fry was a bit sweeter than I’d expect. Will definitely return and try more of the menu. Staff was friendly and efficient.

First time here. Place is very small. Music is a bit to loud to hear over if you want to chat over your meal. Server was nice. Food was okay. We had the Bigfoot burgers. I love sourdough but this bread was just to much and kinda hard to eat. Plus the burgers were really dry. Had to dip it in ketchup. Onion rings are huge and good. Sweet potato fries would of been better is they actually came out hot. Not sure if we would return.

In short...Cute little tavern with a few tables outside, and casino bar top games.Food was great! Service was great!Fun, chatty, waitresses!In longer...We rode our bikes up for breakfast and a Bloody Mary. Unfortunately, they aren't serving breakfast on the weekends. No problem though, just a heads up. We grabbed the Bucket O' Clams and a Cobb salad. (We added a burger patty to the salad-which I highly recommend you try!)The staff is cute and friendly and have no problem chatting about things that interest them. The place was completely packed by 11:30 on a Sunday when they opened at 11:00...We had a great time!Thanks for brunch!

First time here, Was looking for something different from the "city" offerings. This is the perfect spot!!Very Large portions , my wife & I shared the Stroganoff, delicious and very tender "prime rib" , caprese app & Fries, Friends had the Sasquath burger, the split as well. Desert, must try the Bread pudding, giant portion, All Delicious.A "locals" hangout . Very small tavern, 9 tables, the staff is super nice, helpful and friendly. Super friendly bar, even if you're not a local. The food is is fantastic as is the service. Crowded on the weekends so better to come off hours. The blackened ribeye steak sandwich is the best thing here! The strawberry salad if you gotta have a salad. The Calamari is the best appetizer to get.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious with large portions, and the drinks are just as good. The staff is wonderful and so darn friendly. You must stop by if you're in the area. I promise you'll love it.

Well patronized place which is always a good sign--had to wait a bit. A locals type place off the beaten track--I did not know it existed. Service is friendly and fast once you are seated. Food is good and in generous portions. Kind of a well maintained divish joint type place with a stuffed Sasquatch near the entrance. Try it --it's fun.

It’s the first time you’ve ever eaten there. The place is super cute and has all this Sasquatch paraphernalia. Jaimie provided us with a world-class service. JOSE had a smile. She asked us what we wanted and brought everything in a timely fashion. I was surprised at how delicious the food was. Everything was incredible. I highly recommend that you come to the Sasquatch in Verdi. I had the Sasquatch burger with blue cheese and regular fries. She had the Swiss mushroom chicken sandwich burger both were delicious and the potstickers that we had as an appetizer were better than any potstickers potstickers that we had before at any other restaurant.

Three stars seems low for this top-notch eatery, but let me explain: I had the Sasquatch burger and it tasted great! I mean GREAT! The issue was that it was way too rich and fatty for me to finish. Same with the fries. They were fantastic! But way too much flavor, if that makes sense.

We spent enough money in Reno for the week but actually got a LOT for our money here. I had the blackened salmon sandwich. Just about the best salmon I’ve ever had. So flavorful and not fishy at all. The fries were incredible. Hubby said ribeye was 10 out of 10.

So dang yummy. We were actually looking for a different place but came across this place and it did not disappoint. The waitress we had was the sweetest!! And I didn't expect there to be many choices for the kids, but surprisingly they have a full kids menu. The food was really flavorful and they were huge portions! And they have Alaskan Amber which is one of my boyfriend and I's favorites. I'm glad we stopped here.

Fish and Chips, that's what I like here at the Sasquatch Tavern. It's a bit of a drive out here, but worth it on a nice day. It can get crowded on weekends at lunch so better to come on off hours or mid week ... open 7 days a week.The fish and chips are huge and served with a large portion of chips (fries). Battered nice and real fish, not some frozen pre battered thing from the food service company Sysco.Service is always super good and friendly, beers are good here too, try for happy hour! IPA is what I go for.

Just 5 minutes off the Interstate 80 Gold Ranch exit is a little gem that shouldn’t be missed. It’s woodsy interior is clean and the bar is popular with locals. Inn summer the small covered deck is the place to be, but don’t miss the Dog Valley tacos (we opted for shrimp, but you can get steak, chicken, fish or an occasional special like salmon. Staff is nice with just the right amount of sassy. The fish and chips are also worthy. When you’re done, drive another 3 minutes to the Verdi Distillery.

Why 4 stars?The Sasquatch Tavern and Grill is a nice road side stop. The interior is dark and has a cabin in the woods feel that draws in the Sasquatch theme. I like it. The indoor dining area is divided roughly half for dining and the other half for bar service. The seating area is small, but effective.The restaurant has outdoor seating, which is very inviting during the warm months. Plus, you can watch the train pass by or interact with the community/people watch while you dine or slam a cold one.The food I ordered was tasty. I was pleasantly surprised of the amount of food per entree. This makes the price proportional to what you get. I recommend sharing an entree if you are not that hungry.Service was quick and our server was very nice. This place is a local favorite. I recommend Sasquatch Tavern and Grill and will visit again.

Group of my Side by Side buddies and I love this place. Will only go when Felecia is working though =) staff is great for the most part but Felecia is our favorite. We will message her before we go to see if she's working and if not we won't show up. Felecia remembers all of our names and genuinely cares about our business/experience. Knows our dogs names etc. She sets the bar on what awesome customer service looks like. She's the reason we don't go to chop 40 anymore. **edit 3/2/24** could Felicia be the bartender? In the winter months we go inside to the bar and I think she would bring a better energy to the bar. Would Haye to have to start going to chop for a lively bar

This is a great place to take one's family if one is ever in the Verdi area. Patrons can either sit at the bar and eat or just eat at one of the dining tables. The service is always the best thing about this place, in my personal opinion, as the resteraunt has a very cozy, mountainous motif to it, overall. And, yes, there is a fireplace, and they do keep it lit.Parking: The parking lot is small, but it's sufficient for the amount of traffic this business sees. I've never had trouble finding parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids are most certainly welcome here. The bar is separate from the dining area, and even then, the bar is very tranquil.Wheelchair accessibility: I've definitely seen wheelchair users access this building with no real issues.
