Danny was able to get my car into his shop fairly quickly and we found out that what needed to be fixed I couldn't afford. So I didn't have to tow my car until I got it sold he actually bought my car from me it was so helpful.

Had my Lincoln navigator in there a few weeks ago for a alternator when I picked it up noticed one of my backup lights were out. These guys changed both bulbs and mind you that you have to remove the whole interior tailgate panel to change them. They didn't charge me a dime extra for this. Now that's service!!! I will definitely go back for any future repair needs. Just an update recently had my Ford F-150 in there for an oil leak turns out it was just a hose clamp and they replaced it cleaned up underneath didn't charge me a dime a good honest repair shop is worth its weight in gold any other shop would have found something to replace but not Danny give these guys a shot you won't regret it

Danny and his guys really saved my bacon and they have my eternal gratitude. I needed to have them put some new parts on my crusty old vehicle so I could get a DMV inspection. They stayed late on a Friday to finish the job so I was able to make my DMV appointment on time. Super great auto repair. My husband had an appointment for a mechanical inspection of many of the engine and chassis components of our Ford E450 chasis of our RV. He showed up ten minutes early and Chris helped him. Chris was phenomenal. He dropped everything else he was doing and immediately took care of the the service needed. VERY knowledgeable, honest, professional, and courteous. Extremely accommodating and willing to do work others would not.Could have easily recommended unnecessary work or charged more. The manager Chris, was very helpful, also he did warranty work from out of state and is billing the warranty co. I thought my car would be there all week. And to my surprise they had my car done and out the door within 2 days, so that I could make my doc. Appt on Wednesday. Before I had my car worked in at Frank's I had stopped by numerous times for air in my tires and the mechanics were always friendly, and very helpful to me. As a first time car owner with high anxiety and little knowledge about cars, finding an honest mechanic is super important to me. Danny took the time to explain everything they had done to my car in an easy to understand way, showed me the parts that were replaced and why, and overall made what can be a stressful trip into a very comfortable one. I've had nothing but great experiences here! Prices are always reasonable and the staff actually take time to explain things to you. I recently had them check out a used car I was looking to buy. They did a very thorough job inspecting it, and went above and beyond in advising what work needs to be done/ will need to be done soon, and what other factors to look out for before buying the car. 10/10 would recommend!

Traveling in an RV and got to an RV Park in Reno/Verdi, Nevada. Engine stopped and wouldn’t start. Not happy. Got a referral from our waitress at dinner Sunday evening. She said talk to Danny at Franks Automotive right down the street. Monday morning I went in and Danny wasn’t there yet. But Joel was. As it turned out, Joel was Danny’s son. Joel got me squared away and I connected with Danny later that morning. Made an appointment for Wednesday morning. Got it started and down to them by 9:00 am and they started working on it like I was the only one around. Joel and Tony worked together like they had been for years. Turns out Tony is Danny’s Nephew and Joel’s cousin. They made a great team! Diagnostic test said bad battery. Battery was new 3 months earlier. I was skeptical but they are the professionals. I thought starter. They replaced battery in minutes. Cleaned up connections and it looked great. Would it start? Yes it did. And again, and again. They ran diagnostics again and everything checked out perfectly. I was wrong on the starter. Then came the bill. Danny charged me for the battery and 6/10ths of an hour for labor. Very, very reasonable under the circumstances. I pulled out at 10:00 am and was very happy. Don’t hesitate to go see them. Danny is down to earth, straight forward, and honest. In the last few years he had serviced my two BMWs, my Mazda CX-9, and I know of a number of friends who had cars service to buy him. We live for in a community not far from where he is. I see a number of California cars he services. He and his staff will do anything to assist you to get you going on the road again. As a man of prayer I pray about all things. I had car trouble in Reno and commanded my phone to take me to a mechanic near me. For five choices came up but I did not feel in the spirit any of them are right. I felt led to get off on Highway 40 and give the command again. That led me to Frank’s automotive repair where Daniel is the owner and Chris is one of the main mechanics. The whole group are the absolute best. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Doing business there was like doing business in the old days when every business was family owned in the family treated all the customers like family. I pray God blesses this mechanic shop and group beyond their wildest dreams!

On my way home to Idaho from California I spun out, hitting snow bank on the Interstate causing me to make an unexpected stop at Frank’s Automotive Services. I was broke diwn at Golden Ranch where i stopped to get gas. When i tried to start my car....nothing!! I looked for the nearest automotive repair shop and Frank’s popped up in my search. Not only did they recommend a towing company but when i called and said it was being towed there they said they would get it fixed!! I dropped it off at 2 pm on a Saturday and it was fixed and running great within an hour!!! God Bless Daniel and his mechanics. They saved the day!! I will definitely be bringing my Grand Am back for any maintenance concerns in the future!!! Thank you so much!!!

Where do I start? Let's go with the high prices.. you think your getting a deal till a bill comes. 700 for what? Then they break something on my car. No I didn't take it back to rude Franks. I gave these guys multiple chances. alternative mechanics? Roy foster automotive. Greg's garage. Anybody but franks. Chris and danny are supposed to be head guys but they are rude as can be. Like if you don't like your day job? Then quit.

Danny (Recent owner of Frank's) is a long-time resident and businessman in the area. This is the owner-resident-citizen I was looking for. Someone who has pride, accountability and hospitality. I lived in TX for 25 years and was lucky to have a family friend as my go-to mechanic so I could trust his judgement. I was looking for someone similar in an industry that so wrought with "let's make a steal tactics" and already found a couple since moving here 2 years ago. I'm glad to find my go-to guy that is upstanding and I can trust to do the right things for the right reasons.

It was a great experience ...top of the line , I was traveling in my R.V. back home to Montana & had a major problem with a belt I googled a repair shop for Verdi & Franks Automotive came up , I called & left a message & within 5 minutes my call was returned told him the problem , gave me directions & was standing outside waiting for me ....in less than an hour he had it fixed & I was on my way ...I'm a single woman & its nice to know that their are still good people out there that won't take advantage of some one & the price was great too . thank you Jeremy for making my day .
