The store is so big you almost need a roadmap to get around. Very well laid out with each department having their specialties. Everything your heart desire in Camping equipment, outdoor apparel, fishing equipment, sunglasses and goes on and on. The staff is certainly knowledgeable and very friendly. They were actually willing to help. Sometime ago, Bass Pro shop for Cabelos merge, making one big sporting good store. If you’re into canoeing, there’s every color under the rainbow.If you’re ever in the Reno area, stop by its worth it

Such a great experience. The Taxidermy museum, the gun library, the fish tank, and fishing equipment, kids section, there is someone for everyone. Outdoors people, camping, exploring, hunters, Fisherman, hikers, backpackers, ATV's, most fun is just walking through the store to see everything. It's like a log cabin and the savanna all in one place

The displays in this store are amazing it's like walking into a museum. Large game Taxidermy displays are mesmerizing. First the elephant, rino, lion, zebras, hippo, and more exotic animals, then the bears, polor Bear, moose, deer, much more, beautiful display of fish and fish tank with stergeon. Then there was the shooting gallery. This was all before we started shopping which was also amazing. The gun library was awesome. Clothes gear everything.

Tons of outdoor gear. Camping, fishing, hiking, hunting. They have it all. Military and first responders get 10% discount. Nice to have a store that honors those who serve.

Such an amazing beautiful place. Our family visit’s every time we come to Reno and they look forward to looking and seeing all the camping gear , and of course the different variety of items they sell. Women , men’s , children’s clothing , shoes and so much more . It’s amazing we also walk out with a new camping gear item that we look forward to using on our next camping trip ! Thank you for amazing variety and a great place to share and have family experience everyone enjoys !

This is a great place to get all your huntin an fishin stuff. Sure glad we don't live in CA! We can get all the guns and ammo we want here. It's crowded on weekends, so come during the week. Prices are average, so don't expect any giant bargains. It's worth it to make the trip out here if you buy a bunch of stuff ... kinda like going to Costco.

I’ve never experienced such a great amount of customer service. From Mark and the gentleman with the white polo at the credit card kiosks, to the awesome gentlemen in the knives section to the very friendly and patient cashier who suggested an ideal gift for my husband. We didn’t feel out of place, awkward or mistreated. We were the only people of color in the store, but that didn’t stop anyone from engaging in conversation with us or helping us out with whatever we needed. We will definitely need to stop back when we are back out this way. Thank you for providing exceptional customer service!

Many items we labled with sale prices but when you go to check out, prices came up higher. I was on a budget so I was paying attention. At the end, the was an 8th item charged for $16.99 while I only had 7 items?? They would have gotten me for an extra $30.00. Sooo dishonest!

We've been to many Cabelas all around the states but this one definitely stands out. Our family was amazed at the taxidermy museum and reminded us of museums in DC. Staff are available if you need help finding anything in store or online. Excellent inventory of sporting goods, apparel and outdoor gears. No need to wait, everything is right in the store. Lots of items on sale too. Store is well maintained and checkout lines are short an easy.

I've had good and bad experiences with this place. A few times, customer service was extremely unhelpful, especially over the phone. Prices are usually higher here than other places for the same gear. Some staff have been very friendly and a little helpful, but known what you want before going in, or plan on doing all the research in person as for the website is almost just as unhelpful. Don't get me started on the round abouts to get there/exits to get out of there. Unless I have a gift card or have an exclusive Cabelas item I need, I shop elsewhere.

This is the most impressive sporting goods store that I have ever been in. Well,l it beats out all other stores for that matter. It was like walking into an amusement park & gift shop for adults who love sports. The store is divided into different sporting sections with men & women clothing in the center aisles. The best thing about the place are the two animal displays; the North American wildlife located in the back of the store and the African wildlife located in the middle of the store. Wow! Such an amazing place to shop or just to visit.

This is a huge Cabela's! Anything you could want in every department; fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, etc. Their service was particularly good. They asked when I was checking out of I found everything. I couldn't find a little item, reusable straws. Two people instantly went looking and came back with them. Kudos for customer service!

Large store where you can find everything you need for any fishing and hunting needs. Wonderful store to take children so much fun. Plus it had a big clearance sale and I spent 150 dollars and got at least received 300 dollars worth of stuff.

We came here for Santa Photos!!!!! Stellar Customer Service and the staff was patient with all 5 of my children!!! Shout out to Mrs Brown of Vaughn Middle School for making my children feel so special!!!!!! Highly Recommend for Santa Photos!! Also Picture Package is reasonably priced!!! Other spaces available for family photos!!! See what we captured!!

On 2/15/24 we purchased four food items. Not happy with small size upon opening and quality of peanut brittle, or quality of red licorice. Called store next morning about returning for lack of quality. Store policy once you depart store non returnable. I will never again purchase a food item at this store.Follow up. Provided store with all of our contact information with no response. Bottom line is that their return policy on a $25. purchase really sucks.

Have big rig and rv parking. Easy on and off too get too. Place was clean as I've ever seen a business. Employees polite and helpful. Everytime I come here. Always impressed with how courteous the employees are. They actually take the time to talk too u.

Great store lots of things to see and do...perfect for the whole family. Nice store nicely laid out very easy to find things. We went at Christmas time and it was decorated really really cute! Got some really good deals too!

Loved this place! So cool to just walk through, bought fudge, it was ok. The taxidermy animals were fascinating. Animals you don't see everywhere. Aquariums, waterfalls, shooting. The kids really enjoyed it. I didn't buy anything but for my kids, they wanted a sucker with a unicorn. I gave the lady $100 bill and she gave me back $9!! She was supposed to give me 90 and some change and then she asked me for the receipt back to check... I hadn't even moved, luckily she typed 100... I don't think she would have given it to me if she put only $10. She was nice so I'm not going to dock stars for that. Everybody makes mistakes.

Passing through on the way home to Roseville, CA. Beautiful store. Friendly staff. Lots of firearms that are not available to us in CA.I was a bit dismayed at the dismal supply of ammunition. Oh well, a pain to buy and ship to a FFL anyways... Thank you, Cabela's

We mostly go here for the Santa experience. But, on the few occasions we had shopped there, for specific winter warmth, we had pleasant experiences. It's a bit above price range for our family for most things, but they do have Carhartt at MSRP, so that's a plus.

Great great store! Northern California has nothing like this store. Its really fun to walk around. They really have great items to check out. My most favorite is the fudge they serve its so delicious! They have interesting guns, fishing, camping, clothes etc. They have this cool gun game you can play. Its for all ages! Shopping here its worth it!

I arrived December 24th at 8:45 in anticipation of their 9 am opening as posted on their window to take care of some last minute shopping. After waiting until 9:30 I left as they never opened. I planned my morning around this posted open time. I proceeded back in to Reno and made my purchases elsewhere.This is amateur hour garbage. Whoever is managing this location should be fired.

Went to bring the grandkids to see the Santa. We were told to hurry up to go up to Santa. They took the picture and sent us on our way. Santa didn’t talk to anyone of the kids. Didn’t ask what they wanted for Christmas or even if they’d been good.The elf helpers were very rude too.They, my grandkids, kept asking me why Santa didn’t talk to them and one even cried. How do you explain to a little boy why Santa didn’t talk to him?Way to commercialized. I will never go to Cabela’s again. So so disappointed with the rude helpers and Santa both. I tried calling customer service and to no surprise they don’t answer the phone.

I love this place especially what they do for kids during Christmas. They usually have everything I'm looking for. From fishing gear to bows and clothing and guns. The customer service has always been great.This is our go to store!

Great BIG Store...my hubby wants me to leave a 50 star review lol! Everything you can think of in here. Good prices...kids loved the giant fish tank there as well. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff.
