We've come here several times and employees are always friendly. Tangy was super! They have a wide variety of products. I believe they're understaffed because there is always boxes and carts in the isles. Still, It's a good place to come and shop.I would give 5 stars for the employees because they seem to work hard, but a two star for the state of the store itself.

One star is a compliment!! Horrible! Worst place EVER!! I Rather Spend $100 At Raley's Then $50 Here Anyday!!! Instead of shutting the place down they rather keep the little money that's coming in on the days they are open, which is seldom. I've never seen nothing like this! Y'all should be ashamed of y'all selves! You humans who are in charge of this store should stop hiring employees and see what it's like to work there yourself & maybe you'll think twice about keeping this store open & running in this condition!

I am completely shocked with the condition of this place! It is dirty and boxes and filth everywhere. Every single isle was this way. I would be absolutely embarrassed if I owned/ managed/ worked at this location! Not sure how to upload photos or I would.

So packed it seemed to be a junk depository. They have many different options and items. In fact I enjoy the cold foods section but it was a bit haphazadous. It seemed unorganized.

I realize they have gone through many changes of late. Bringing people in from Pahrump to get the shelves stocked and cleaned up. Being a small town employees are sort of scarce. So the two or three working need a break. I understand this. But a notice of days not open would be helpful. Many of us elderly folks drive in from Goldfield. We depend on this store since most are on a fixed income. Appreciate the effort.

This Family Dollar gives the rest of them a bad name! This place is NEVER open, regardless of the fact that their website and the phone recording say otherwise! If they are so desperate for help...then ADVERTISE it!!! With Tonopah being the halfway point between Reno & Vegas and so many people stopping here, you'd think Family Dollar would be more apt to be open and help customers! This place is more of a headache than a help!!! Nice to know every other Family Dollar I've ever gone to is NOTHING like this one!!! Customer service...look it up!

I would give them a zero if I could. I was there two weeks ago, the whole store was a shambles boxes piled to the ceiling in some isles, coolers filthy and empty only one cooler inoperable. Shelves bare only about 8 fourth full. The manager nice but just standing around today when I was there again. Today store in same condition a shambles, fithy, garbage on floor , boxes up to ceiling, isles closed and not accessible, shelves bare, operable coolers filthy and empty. The worst most unorganized, filthy dirty , bare shelved store I have ever stepped foot in in my life. Have some pride family dollar! The regional manager needs to get to the Tonopah store and clean it up, stock the shelves etc... I felt I was in a third world country store.

This is the most missed managed family Dollar I have ever been into. With all the product just laying around on the floor and in totes and not being in the right spot. It is very hard to find anything in this store. if you can't find something and you ask an employee you have to wait for that employee to get off the phone. Then he won't even walk you to the product just tells you how it should be over there. Employees are very unprofessional unhelpful and the store is a mess if there was ever a fire people would be tripping over product to get out of the building. This place needs New Management.

Store was dirty, lots of empty shelves and several refrigerator cases broken down and empty. I was concerned about getting anything perishable from the remaining refrigerators - decided not to. Very overpriced for a Family Dollar store. I've been to many as I travel and am familiar with the company pricing - even in other remote areas. Many prices crossed out and higher prices written next to them. It does have a water refill station out front. Crossing fingers that works when I need it.

The people of Tonopah depend on this store to get our essential stuff at the fact we live so far away from big retail stores. They have been closed for the past 3 days for "stocking". I was just there and the dude was just standing there pretending to "stock" when he was just standing wiping down the counter ttops like a sloth. They close whenever they feel like it. I absolutely hate this store. Probably the worse one I have come across. Even the Family Dollar at Beatty is more well managed than this one and their population is way less than Tonopah. I feel bad for the people in Round Mountain who have to drive way down here to get stuff. Incompetence at best. Even the Family Dollar in the ghetto is way better than this one.

This store will hire just bout anyone.....it's funny to me. To hire a certain someone who has made threats to a 13 yr old.....and to tell ppl they can't call the store....I will call because I can....this store is never opened so I call to find out if there open....simple! Corporate should realy check there cameras.......I don't like going into a store and being grabbed at and starred at....just sayen!

Nothing I'll say hasn't already been said.Decent when its open, closed more often that not as of late. Sucks to drive for 2 hours to get here only to find it closed. Only other store is Raleys next door which will run you $150 for 3 items, cheaper to just make the jump to Beatty.

I remember this place not being able to fill shifts and whether it was open was a crapshoot. However, as of late it's running well. A bit disorganized but I guess that's that charm of it. 😁

The store was pretty clean for the most part. Certain sections were very noticeable cluttered. And there were a couple of aisles you couldn't even access due to stock sitting in boxes blocking the way.

This store is the worse one I’ve ever been to. The district manager is not doing a good job of running it. The website for this store says it’s open until 10pm. Went up at 4:20pm and it was closed. They are completely closed on Wednesdays. This town depends on this store for essential items. Maybe if the town complains about it maybe we would get some results.

One cashier and one stock person only. The shelves were empty. The isles were full of boxes. One employee was SLOWLY stocking shelves. There are hardly any prices posted on the refrigerated and freezer items. Tonopah desperately needs this store. However, this store desperately needs new management and employees.

Spectacular! I arrived a little before they opened and they let me in to shop anyway. This is a remarkable and most friendly staffed Dollar Store. The store is clean and absolutely loaded with anything that you might need at the right price.

It's is so cluttered you can't get down the aisles because boxes are everywhere. You can see stuff on the shelf because the boxes are stacked up in front of items.

I appreciate having this store but the store isles are unsafe ,boxes are blocking the rows.
