Every time I go in, the shelves are half empty, there is product all over the floor and no matter what day or time I go in, there are rolling shelves, with product that needs to be put away, in or around almost every aisle making it difficult to navigate the store. I have been about once or twice month for almost two years and it is always like this. I used to shop there up to six times a month but I just can't stand going there anymore.

I’m a normal customer here quite often and normally have no issues. It’s normally a delight more than an errand coming here when running into staff and having an interaction. Today I came to grab a snack and drink on my lunch break around 2:00pm and to my surprise saw who if im not mistaken, the ASM, and the GM and overheard the GM yelling at the other party while she was on the phone very clearly trying to detour the conversation and avoid conflict. Sad to see that whoever is above the GM can’t control her/his employees to not act like a high school setting and have a safe and comfortable work environment. I hope the young lady getting yelled at sees this review and listen to me when I say SUE THIS BUSINESS FOR HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT and run far far away from this place. After seeing how they treat the team, I will not be shopping here anymore and condoning such behavior from an erratic “store manager”. I feel sorry for that girl, I would’ve gave her a knuckle sandwich being spoke to that way. After the incident I saw, a Hispanic lady was waiting to be helped and the GM totally IGNORED HER!! What a !#%*h.

Drove all the way here and a girl just stands at the door saying there closed but it says on the door they open at 8 am so I’m confused as to why they are closed . Smh people are lazy workers , rude and inconsiderate.

The store is always clean when I go in there. The cashier's are always friendly. Only issue I encounter here is they seem to be out of quite a few things when I go in. Well not exactly out just not stocked half the time.

OMG can't believe you didn't notice the wonderful improvements that ROSE the manager and the assistant manager did 4 your store . They worked there butts off and more. I can't tell you how many times I seen Rose shoveling snow off the sidewalk in freezing snow 😳 an hour before the place opened. So dedicated and you OVER WORKED HER and obviously did not appreciate her hard work. Dedication, and the IMPROVEMENTS SHE MADE AT DOLLAR GENERAL 5303 SUNVALLEY 89433.scrapping ice

My mom and I shop here every weekend 😊 I love the staff and never had a problem with any products I have bought here! The prices are the best too 😁 I recommend this place for shopping 🛒🛍️

I came here recently with my son to do some shopping. I so happened to find out the store was remodeling and had items going on a major discount. My son and I got there at 8 am. The lady who opened the door was not friendly from the moment we walked in. We said hi and she somewhat mumbled hello. We started to grab the items that were on sale and place them into our carts. We got quite a bit of each item because I like to give items to people who are in need or have little kids. Socks, shoes, underwear, etc. As we got to check out we had 2 carts full of stuff. As we were waiting for someone to come ring us up my son was scanning a few things on the app to see if anything else was discounted. The lady who opened the doors for us earlier walked up to him and said "you need to stop. You have enough items. Dont you see you're being greedy!" Mind you my son is a TEENAGER. NOT an adult. I looked at her and told her in a nice tone that she didnt need to speak to my son that way and it's not greed we donate most of the items. Even though it wasnt any of her business. I told her if she needs to say anything she can say it to me and Not my child. She eventually came and apologized but her behavior was unacceptable and unnecessary. She should be thankful I bit my tongue and didnt want to step down to her level of meanness towards my son who wasnt doing anything wrong and was just doing as I had asked him. Thankfully this store is too far for me to visit again. But buyers beware there is a lady there who is not kind at all.

I never had an issue with this store. But, it’s very inconvenient that there’s employees inside and the doors are locked. I mean if there short staff or have a problem a least put a sign at the door so people will at least know. I’ve been parking outside and at least 6 people came and just left!!!

I was sent to the Dollar General store in Sun Valley for a door dash and had a very long list of items to find. If it wasn’t for the great help I got from the employees there I wouldn’t have fulfilled my delivery. They helped me find every item one by one even though it was pretty busy in there. Especially Kelly, she was a huge help. Thank you all so much. 🤘🏻

The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was getting down the aisles. I know you have to stock shelves, but it seemed every aisle I wanted to go down had 6-10 boxes blocking the aisle. Not the 1st time I've had this problem. Seems the last few times I've been there boxes filled the aisles. Safety issue.

Was open late Christmas Eve, thankfully. Great selection, a little messy because they were so busy and aisles are close together which makes it feel crowded. Great store, close to home, and has a lot of items for such a small building.

Great place to shop. I bought shoes and socks there. The socks were more than a dollar and the shoes are more foam than rubber 😂🤣 I was surprised you can get them there 🙂🙂🙂!!Well stocked with everything you could need and not s bad food selection 😉.The bathrooms are OK.The service is good.The staff knowledgeable.No microwave but overall a ⭐5 Star⭐ place to shop.

For prices and assortment, it's pretty awesome. But every time I've gone in there, the boxes of inventory are up and down the Isles and a complete mess you can't even push a cart in there! I also have to wait in line for WAY too long! Very claustrophobic!

I shouldn't feel scared to write anything bad about this store, being a potential new employee, but that's no problem because there's nothing bad to write about it! The aisles are clean, the employees are treated excellently, and if I lived in this area, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

I think this store is underrated. I have been to many DG stores and this one which is centrally located in the heart of Sunvalley in Nevada serves as a one shop store. What I mean by that is the consumers use it for all off their shopping needs. My take on the store is it pretty organized for the traffic this store has. There is not enough employees to have this store looking as tip-top of shape that the locals would like. The employees are very knowledgeable when it comes to answering questions. They are all very friendly! I was extremely impressed with the quality of products they have and how the store was set up. The only thing that was negative through no fault of the current employees is the sales and clearance items were not reset.

You have employees that are abusive and 86 people for no reason at all! Have fake employees that let's people steal and steal their selves! I was in 3 days ago and was treated poorly by a cashier I had that day was rude! Need to clean out the aisles from things so you can get around the store without falling on something! I would do something about the stealing etc. Soon!

Sales Associate? Who is that. all the guys that work there are to busy at night smoking on the side of the building. They don't even come in when they see me park in front and walk. All baskets are usually fill with product that needs to be stock, so good luck getting a basket to purchase $100 dollars worth of stuff. This store never has gets the baskets from the parking lot Customers have to if they want a basket. I have seen shoplifters come in crab stuff and walk out. These shop lifters scare me and have backpacks usually dirty clothes and on drugs.This store usually doesn't have staff trained enough to do the coupons from online right. This store is easily open to anyone to walk in without it having supervision. Every time I ask for a Manager she is not there. I live 1 block away and have been in 4 days in a row to talk to store manager and its always an excuse for her not being there.. No one seems to know her real schedule, so is there a main store manager??? Also when products are on sale for the current week they are on a stock container the same way they came of the truck and I can't get the product if it hasn't been unpacked. The bathrooms are like a outhouse.

Store is kindof clean but stocked well. Cashier is very talkative but really slow due to him trying to be funny. Line gets long as he talks randomly. Youll spend more time in line then it takes to shop.

I find everything I need at Dollar General and I'm quite happy with my purchases. The workers are friendly and helpful. I just like going there 2 the 5 times a month if not more to see what's new. The prices are right.

I find pretty good deals here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only fault I see is they don't have enough staff to keep boxes of product off the floors that are suppose to be on the shelf.

I havent been here before. I was disappointed.most other dollar stores sell everything for a dollar. Most of the items in this store were about regular store prices. I can't say what other dollar general stores look like, but this one was like a salvation army store without the organization. There was stuff everywhere so much so that aisles were blocked, you couldnt turn a basket around. It would be better cleaned up, organized, less stuff and lower prices.

Upon going to this location, the staff greeted me as I was walking through the door ask me if I needed anything or if I need assistance in finding anything! After shopping and upon leaving the entire time the staff were always eager to help you out and to help you find things and possibly find you a better deal!Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar Store all of these are by the same company they just have different areas that they specifically target in!

Love Dollar general but the one in sun valley always has merchandise in the isle not put away which makes it hard to go down the isle. Every isle has boxes of merchandise or shipping and receiving carts and you can't get by them. Also they need more cashier's.w

Place is hardly ever stocked it’s a mess . Employees are rude . By you using the dollar general discount, employees like the guy with long hair and bandana says you hustling them when the company provides them for customers. District managers need to improve

I was looking at the RGJ sunday ads and noticed the Dollar General ad, and so I looked up the locations and found this one in Sun Valley. I wasn't sure at first, but when I walked in, the store was impeccably clean, organized and the team very friendly and helpful. I went there to buy something on special, found it, and then purchased another 20 items because of the exceptional savings. This is definitely a go-to dollar store. Yes, some of the items were like $2 or $2.75 but the regular price is like $5.75 or $4.50. Gail at check out was very friendly and polite and she credits the stores organization and impeccable cleanliness to her wonderful manager who is a brow beater, and I said I do the same to my team and the results show in a quality environment. Definitely stop by if you can.

Once was a nice place now you can't even go down the isle merchandise on the floor or still on the crates in the middle of the floor .. And then there's a couple rude women working there. I say if your looking for a great deal on soda this is the spot. Everything else go somewhere else there's another dollar store across the street😣smh
