Last weekend we spent here and had dinner. Best thing about this place is it’s open 24 hours and we hardly get options for having dinner late night. Food was yummy, specifically Jalapeno Poppers which are mild Jalapeno peppers stuffed with a rich cream and cheese. Staff were very friendly and overall service was good here. Decent and happening ambiance with good music. Definitely a worth visiting place.

I was greeted at the door and got seated immediately on a weekday even when the place was quite crowded. I ordered the signature bronze dry aged burger, and the patty was cooked right, but the overall flavor was lacking. The bun was a bit hard, the egg was well done, and the cheese didn't have much flavor. The fries were hard and lukewarm, so they weren't enjoyable. The beaver sauce wings were described as teriyaki sauce with some spiciness, but they were more sweet than spicy. The wings were crispy on the outside but not very juicy inside. The chili was average, but enough to satisfy the cravings.I haven't tried other burger restaurants in Tahoe, so I have nothing to compare it to. Their burgers are supposed to be award-winning, which heightened my expectations, and I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the food.Overall, the service was great, and this is the only option that opens late and within walking distance for the hotels nearby. I would say this is very reasonable quality within the area, but don't expect great burgers if you're more picky.

The Dry-Aged Specialty Burgers keep me coming back whenever I’m staying in the area. They are sooo good. The Gold and Platinum are my favorites. The Cajun Tots and Garlic Fries are a good complement to the burger. The chili is really tasty w/ an extra kick if you like spice. This place is clearly a locals’ joint, and it’s comfortable for travelers as well because the staff is really easy going and friendly. Generally good vibes here

We spent a weekend in Tahoe with reservations at the top rated restaurants. Lucky beaver was the spot we went to on a whim and we loved it so much we went twice in one weekend! The bloody Mary is so good and the breakfast sandwiches OMG. I cannot wait to go back to tahoe and visit the beaver again. The staff is amazing, the waitresses are so warm and make you feel like family. The music was great too.

We had to queue outside to wait for a table for 30 minutes but it wasn't cold and we were able to order a drink whilst waiting if we wanted. Summer was our waitress and she was really helpful and friendly. We each ordered a salad and they were very tasty and big portions but we did have about a 60 minute wait for them which we felt was too long. The atmosphere inside was great and it is clearly a very popular place.

Without a doubt, The Lucky Beaver offers top-tier beef that's worth every penny. From my first to-go order to subsequent dinners, I couldn't get enough of their dry-aged burgers and tomahawk steaks—they were flawlessly seasoned and reasonably priced.While it's situated in a Nevada “gaming bar” (?), the level of smoke was manageable for me. However, it's essential to note that individual preferences may vary.If you're a fan of exceptional beef, dining experiences, and the best staff in South Lake Tahoe, The Lucky Beaver is a must-visit spot.If you found this review useful, please consider giving it a like.

This is a burger joint that’s open 24 hours!! It’s very packed around 7pm. It’s cool you can watch the food being prepared behind the glass. The wait- took us 45 min to get our food. The atmosphere is great and very live-ful. There are casino games at the bar if you want to do some betting. This is NOT a good place for children or older adults. We enjoyed the burgers, and they were quite flavorful.Vegetarian options: Beyond meat burger patties available. There’s also the many verities of potato options (fries, tatortots, sweet potato, etc) and salads.

Picked up my pal Crazy Eight in Auburn and we went straight to Stateline to throw some Franklins around, and Boy-O-Boy did we! One of the best things about this area is the Lucky Beaver Bar & Burger Restaurant because no matter how much cash you throw away, when you end your visit at the Lucky Beaver you walk away a winner.I haven't eaten at every burger joint in Nevada but so far the Lucky Beaver is the best burger in the state. ☆☆☆☆☆

Breakfast here was great and our server Aaron was excellent. We had a terrible experience the night before with a takeout order and a different server but he turned it all around for us that morning. Very genuine, so thank you for that! Wings were the best we had during our stay in Tahoe. We shared our meals as we weren't too hungry and they were brought out to us cut in half and in our own separate trays. Extra points for that. Great experience overall. Thank you!

Very dive bar atmosphere. Friendly staff and cool vibe with lots of old pictures on the walls. The food was good, we ordered a steak salad and a burger. The amount of food was good the steak and burger were cooked to our liking, but tater tots weren’t amazing and there isn’t any gluten free options for buns. They will do a lettuce wrap though which is nice. Happy we tried it since we heard they were best burgers in Tahoe. They are open 24 hrs which is cool and convenient.

We had an absolute blast at this fantastic bar! They have a big fun menu featuring cocktails with hilariously naughty names. The creativity and playfulness in the food menu fit in the casino setting.But that's not all, hamburgers were mouthwatering and cooked to perfection.The ambiance is lively and welcoming, I'll definitely be coming back.

Went to this place sat down and never got service. I waved to the bartender she gave me a look insisting to wait for my server. 20 minutes went by and nit even a we will be with you shortly, or a water. I gave it 5 more minutes. After that I got up and left. I was dressed niced earlier in the night I ate at Sage spent 700plus on drinks there plus food. Spent a few thousand on gambling and this place can't get it together after hours. I left tole the front guy at the door how horrible service was. He had nothing to say and just ignored me. Wow. I definitely won't cone back here ever and I don't recommend it. I hope the rest of tahoe doesn't follow suit with this place. If so I may have to start going to Reno to get better service.I don't recommend this place, pack a late night snack because after hours nothing is open and I'd rather starv than spend a dollar at this place.

Love the name. The atmosphere inside was great as was watching them cook on the spinning grill. However, because we had minors we had to sit on the back patio where we struggled between being cold or cooked from the overhead space heaters. Service was very friendly. Large menu to choose from. We enjoyed the onion rings and burgers but the fries were stale and uneventful. Service was very slow throughout our meal. The burgers are WAY overpriced.

Came here after hours when all the rest of the restaurants nearby were closed. Welcomed in with ease and was greeted by our server 'Nick.'Nick was very personable and did an amazing job to our comfort and answering all questions.Ordered the steak sandwich which was amazing!Definitely a great choice for anyone looking for good eats after 11pm.

Another excellent meal on Feb. 7 at Lucky Beaver. First time I had the aged burger--wow, outstanding! I don't know how this place manages the crowd the way they do--they don't forget you while you're waiting. Nice job, Kyla, managing the wait--I don't believe it was your first night, you totally know what's going on. And, Ashley, excellent service... enjoyed talking with you, however briefly. This place is one of a kind, and the managers are masters at hiring and training.

Came here while on a trip to Lake Tahoe. Was recommended the Lucky Beaver by our good friends who live in the area. At first it was hard to find as it is nestled between two different casinos. Ended up parking on a side street next to Harrahs. Walked into what felt like Roadhouse ripped right from the movie. Loud bar setting with music, tvs, and high top tables. The reason for the low score is the food. We ordered a Tomahawk steak cooked medium (Don't roast me, but my wife prefers less pink in her steaks) it came out looking amazing! Once we took a couple cuts out of the steak, it went from medium rare to rare really fast and even I couldn't eat it. We asked our server if it could be cooked longer, and she agreed it didn't look medium and took it back to the cooks. It took awhile for the steak to come back, but it came back proper and tasted really good. The mashed potatoes and corn on the cob were really good but the asparagus was charred pretty badly too. Our server was very nice, attentive, and understanding about the situation and took off the price of one of the sides for the inconvenience. I will probably come back in the future but I will try the burgers next time.

Our server was super nice and had great suggestions even though he got slammed for a bit when his coworker took off. He was sprinting like a madman to cover everyone coming in as well as the register at the gift shop.The food and drinks were fantastic. This is one of those situations where when you say "You get what you pay for." It is a positive reference. The food is pricey but it's because it's extremely high quality. No regrets paying for a $24 burger when it tastes like a $24 burger. Wife had the ahi sliders and she was pretty blown away by how fresh and how thick the ahi was.The interior looks like a cross between a dive bar and a dimly lit steakhouse but don't let that fool you. Oh and it's pretty neat to see the food being cooked on that spinny fire thing.

Bar maid very friendly.This is the South Lake original location.Beer in the bottle could be a bit colder, not warm, but would be more tasty dropped a few degrees. The draft was cold and served in a big frosty mug. MMM tasty! It was really busy here right before the Foo Fighters concert and the place was packed. The bar maid asked if i would be willing to give up my seat at the bar for a local who was wanting to gamble on the bar machine. She oved me to different table from the bar and ended up picking up my tab for the beers. Very nice gesture.Burger. Was. Fabulous! Bacon Swiss and I cant recommend these burgers enough. I also had the garlic parmesan tater tots as my side. Wasn't my favorite and the tots didn't seem to be fresh from the fryer but they were still tasty.
