Best groomer! Sarah does a wonderful job on all my dogs. She gives them love and pays close attention to anything that may be different since their last visit. She has found lumps that I wasn’t aware of. So I was able to get him treated. She loves her clients and it shows!

Sarah got us in immediately when I explained to her my dog has had a health condition and was unable to be groomed for a long period of time. She was friendly and helpful through the whole process. Sarah is extremely good with our dog and always lets me know if she thinks she has something wrong like an ear infection, her allergies flaring up, or weight loss. Sarah does an amazing job with her hair cuts and all grooming needs and is a pleasure to work with! I would recommend her hands down!!

Meekah didn’t have great grooming experiences in the past. But I took her to Hair of the Dog and she did absolutely amazing. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to get their dog groomed. Sarah is such a loving groomer. She is kind and so very efficient. My little mixed breed poodle has always been nervous and upset being left anywhere. Sarah does a fantastic job with her. Molly always comes home calm, happy, and groomed perfectly. She has even given my little one free hot oil treatments. And always takes a photo.

I have 5 dogs, all who have been groomed here. They range from a gigantic Malamute to a tiny 5lb chihuahua. They are always so happy upon pick up and I know they are treated well and loved when in Sarah’s care. She’s very knowledgeable and talented. My dogs always look amazing when finished. The best part that I personally love, is that she never holds onto your dog for longer then their appointment time. I barely make it back home and they are already done! I have a problematic Pomeranian with health issues and she is always so courteous to his sensitive needs. I can’t say enough good things about the level of client care Hair of the Dog Grooming provides for my fur babies!

Sarah has taken care of our 3 dogs since they were puppies. Not only does she do an absolutely wonderful job every time she grooms them, giving them the full spa treatment, her love for animals shows whenever you leave your babies in her care. One of my boys is a giant baby, he also has the hardest coat to take care of. She was so patient with him from day one, went slow, & built a relationship with him where he realized he could trust her. Sarah went above & beyond during quarantine, posting videos, sharing tips, answering questions, anything we needed to help us all get through having to take care of our own grooming needs. I’m always 100% pleased with how my pups look, smell, & how soft they are after a visit to Hair of the Dog!

We just moved to the area and our dog needed a haircut and we needed a new groomer for him. Hair of the Dog came highly recommended by our realtor so we made an appointment. Bo was groomed today. I don’t trust just anyone with my puppies, Sarah is the best there is! She loves and treats your pets like they’re her own. I especially love that she only takes one family at a time, it’s great for dogs who get anxiety around other dogs. After the first time I went to Sarah, I was so impressed I asked to schedule appointments for the whole year!

Sarah has been taking care of all our fur babies grooming needs for four years now. She is the absolute best and makes sure our pups are comfortable, well taken care of and well loved while she has them. She even offered to take the time to hang out with one of our dogs who had aggressive behavior towards new people so he could get to know her and build some trust with him before she actually groomed him. How many groomers do you know that would do that? Yeah exactly. Sarah is a very special person and we are grateful to be her clients. Scheduling has been more difficult this year with Covid and distant learning as she is a mother, but I can tell you, she is 1,000,000% worth the wait if you can have some grace,patience and understanding. We couldn't ask for better, we HIGHLY recommend her. 💜

My cat is 20 years old. She had never been to a groomer before so we weren’t sure what to expect. Even though I was concerned she wouldn’t behave, Sarah gently let her walk out of her crate in her own time and let her sniff everything before getting to work. Sarah estimated an hour and was done in 20 minutes. She was efficient, patient, loving, and calm with my cat. Gus will never see another groomer because Sarah is our girl. Sarah identified a gum disease issue that I had been unaware of previously. She recommended a great vet with experience treating elderly cats. Not only is she an amazing groomer, but she’s a wonderful human being as well.

Sarah did such a great job. I let her know that Louis and I had a vet appointment prior to our grooming appointment for a hang nail and she made sure he was comfortable. He also had a botched haircut a few weeks before (botched by me) and she was STILL able to make him look handsome AF. We will definitely be returning as long as she will have us.

My dog loves Sarah! She gives him the best cut, he comes home smelling like coconut shampoo, and he has a new bandana that he loves showing off! If his nails needed trimmed two weeks later she will squeeze us in really quick for a free trim. I tell him it’s go see Sarah and he’s ready to get in the car!! I highly recommend this groomer!!

This is the first time using Sarah and I couldn’t be more pleased! My pooch has several issues - she was found abandoned and neglected leaving her with chronic health issues and severe separation anxiety - so I’m always wary when leaving her with anyone. But Sarah took wonderful care of her (along with giving her a great haircut!). Will definitely be a repeat customer!
