Worst vet I ever been to. Receptionist told me that if I requested the lepto vaccine, that the vet could order it and due to planning to move to another state where it's a required vaccine I requested to get the vaccine and plus my dog's previous vet before them said the lepto vaccine was helping him with UTI issues and wanted him to keep up to date. I then go to this vet and the vet said that she will not or ever give any dog the lepto and then went to basically call me a idiot for knowing what my dog needs. I won't be coming back to this vet again. I ended up having to go to another vet to get the services I needed done so I could move by the time I need to.

This vet office is fantastic, everyone is always very kind. I spent almost a year seeking help for my senior cat’s comfort and didn’t get very far as other offices spent 30 seconds with her and just told me she is old and not much can be done. Although I know old age is unstoppable, I really felt she could be made more comfortable through it as she is still active and happy. I tried Aspen as they were closest for me, Dr. Moriarty’s first suggested treatment plan was spot on and has my cat feeling noticeably great even ~8 months later. I wish I would have known to come here first to save her stress and me a lot of money for procedures and exams, so glad they care about the animals’ health and welfare first. Thank you so much Dr. Moriarty and team!

Aspen is the only place I feel comfortable to take my dog. Their service is unparalleled and I can tell they actually care about my pup.Louis had to go in for a toe nail to be removed and they made the process as easy for us as possible.Thank you for helping my little Thumbelina boy.

If i could do no stars i would. i took my dog there because my wife and i were concerned about the way she was acting and was told all my dog would need is bladder stone removal surgery and that she would be great. i spent over 2500$ just to have to put my dog down 3 days later. she had the surgery thursday i picked her up friday and then took her in monday morning because sunday night she lost ALL movement in her back legs. the vet looked at the Xray she took THURSDAY of my dog and said that there was another problem with her. How do you look at an xray 3 days later and all of a sudden see a problem?? she also blamed the loss of movement in my dogs legs to my dog squatting to go potty. shes a female how else would she go potty?? i had to pay an additional 300$ to put her down because there wasnt anything that could be done for her. the vet didnt come in and handle this situation, 2 very sweet and caring vet techs were there with us from start to her last breaths. i can not imagine how different life could have been for my dog if i had gone somewhere else for her help. plus the front desk person is beyond rude and was very unsympathetic.

If I could no stars I would. Charged for a surgery to save my dog and ended up loosing her 3 days later to something else that wasn’t brought up before or after surgery. Looked at her X-rays from Thursday on Monday morning and then all of a sudden seeing something else. Front desk person is very rude and has no sympathy towards an animal parent loosing their fur baby. There were 2 vet techs that were there with my dog and I until the very end. Never saw the actual vet again. Just on the surgery day after I of coursed paid her.Take your animals elsewhere if you want to keep them alive.

I cannot say how grateful I am for Doc and her staff!! They treat our fur babies like family and us too. One of our Great Danes required urgent care and they took him in despite their busy schedule and still gave our pup 110%. I have heard people say they are more expensive than other vets in our area, but I haven’t seen a huge difference in price Even if they cost more, It’s absolutely worth every cent.

Love the doctors and techs at Aspen Vet. However the front desk clerk was very rude to my elderly parents due to them rescheduling an appt. When they went in for there new appt. She accused them falsely of rescheduling constantly and told them to leave and come back in fifteen minutes when it was time for there appt., because they were early. My parents are in there 80ties and have a hard time getting around and at times are are forgetful but do not deserve to be treated poor. Also on appt. For my Yorkie with a hurt ear I was never called and let knowen she would be having surgery. When I went to pick her up I was hit with a 600 dollar bill. Which I was fine with had I been notified when I asked the front desk clerk to allow me to do payment arrangements she snapped at me and said no. I have always done payments with them and never missed a payment I have paid thousands in emergency bills with them and never defaulted on One. I feel the front desk clerk is really RUDE AMANDA AT THE FRONT DESK APPLOGIZED FOR BEING SHORT AND RUDE. AFTER SPEAKING WITH AMANDA AND LISTENING TO HER SIDE OF THINGS WE UNDERSTAND THE STRESS OF HER JOB AND WE ALL AGREED TO WORK TOGETHER WITH EACH OTHER. Thank you Amanda

My baby girl passed away, at night and they called me as soon as it happened to let me know, instead of waiting until the morning. They where amazing and let us come see her, I still can’t believe my little girl is gone. She was so young. I know they did everything they could, but it was to late. I do appreciate the staff and for everything they did. Thank you Aspen vet, for giving my baby comfort before passing.

This was by Far the best experience I've ever had at a vets office. I drove for over 2 hours just to have one of my animals seen. They were able to xray and diagnose her within 30 mins. The Dr took the time to explain everything to me (In Person) and answered my questions. The staff are all amazing, Super friendly, and helpful. Worth the over 2 hour drive. Will start bringing all my animals here!

We took our new yorkie puppy in for a check up and asked about starting shots. The vet said she would be big enough for the shots. The first time one shot and she was a little sore for a few days then was playing like normal. The second set she gave her 2 which looked like 2 me a high dose for her. She was fine the first day after a little sore. The second she was tired but and sleeping low energy. We woke up the next day to our little girl passed away. After talking to the doctor she said she didn’t handle it well. Well that obvious. She was trying to say she doesn’t like loosing a patient which I doubt that is true. She should of known her size and weight would not handle the shot if she is as good as she think she is.

I have had several female cats fixed. A friend told me they had the best price in town. They will not return my calls if I leave a message. You just have to keep trying until you catch them. They usually schedule the appointment pretty quick.

Aspen vet and Dr Moriarty are amazing. After a few years of sub par service at the big vet office in Elko I called Aspen with an emergency and boy they really came through. Not only did they save my dog’s life, they took me on with about 10 minutes notice and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. The staff seems very kind and professional and I would absolutely recommend them if you are looking for a vet in Elko or Spring Creek.

Disappointing experience. Amanda was extremely rude and condescending. We’re just glad it was a simple neutering and Not an emergency. ELKO VETERAN clinic is Yes expensive. However, Staff is always friendly, professional, and caring with our pet. We would never Trust Aspen with our PET Again.

My little dog became very I'll. Aspen vet worked with me all the way. I was at work, got call from neighbor letting me know my dog was very I'll. I called aspen vet they told me to bring him in when I could & they'd work him in. Aspen vet took him in right away, they even worked with me & let me make payments. Over the next 3 weeks my bill was over $1000.00 that I had spent on my dog. Again no pressure at all bought the bill from the vet. It finally came time to let my little man go. Aspen vet employees was so understanding & comforting!!! The vet herself told me I'd already done more for my dog than most people ever do. She didn't pressure me at all & told me to take as much time as I needed. They completely understand & considered exactly how I felt from day one when I walked into their business. Thank u to all of u at aspen vet for everything u did for me & my little guy👍😊

Fall of 2020 I was new to Spring Creek and my 12 year old kitty was vomiting and I made an appointment at Aspen Veterinary Clinic. After an exam and an X-ray the diagnosis was cancer with one to three months to live. I sought a second opinion. After being hospitalized and receiving fluids and a lot of testing, not just an X-ray, my baby DID NOT have cancer, a diet change to a prescription diet to improve his digestion and a nausea prescription he is now happy and thriving. The staff were absolutely wonderful and caring.

My dog is very sick. I took him to Elko vet first because Aspen was booked for a week when I first had to take him in. (I can see why they are) anyway, the difference between Elko Vet and Aspen is really the amazing customer service. Which with the heart breaking news I’ve been receiving on my fur baby has been very hard Aspens caregivers and Dr. Moriarty are so companionate with everything. Amazing at explaining what’s going on and giving more positive feedback and hope on what we can do to help my baby get better. They have personalities which is great. Makes you feel a little less tense. I have more faith with my dog getting better than I did with Elko Vet. I came to them for the 2nd opinion on my baby because Elko Vet was so quickly to push me toward the idea of having no option but to put him down. They really made me feel small and helpless as far as helping my baby. Dr. Moriarty and her amazing workers really give you that faith you need when things are not the best news. I really recommend Aspen Veterinary Clinic!

I gave 2 stars because my puppy is okay. However, I feel like my choices for what was going to happen to my puppy were taken from me as well as what was coming out of my bank account. From the start there was poor communication (Never was given an estimate) from all the staff even Vet. I heard the staff talking about and laughing at an owner of pet...very unprofessional. If you love your animal and are on a tight budget this may not be the right fit for you, it wasn't for us.

Wonderful people. My mom was in the hospital for over a month. And with out any hesitation. They kept her dog for us. Even the vet took her out for walks.
