1st stop in the store. Excellent customer service. Staff is knowledgeable, which is great. All kinds of dog and cat food. All kinds of doggy toys and cat toys. They even had ferrets, which my kiddo loved. And they do have gold fish but soon adding more fish. Turtles and lizards they have a well. All around great store and people.

My sweet nearly 11 y/o pup got her very first flea bath here today after we brought home some very unwelcome “visitors“ from a friend’s house in Texas that was infested. (Apparently, Lone Star fleas are impervious to Trifexis.) Everybody on staff was so helpful & friendly, which made a very stressful experience a lot easier on us both.Their recommendation was a natural flea & tick shampoo with essential oils. I was skeptical at first, but then pleasantly shocked when I saw at least 30 dead fleas go down the drain while bathing her. (And those were just the ones I noticed!!!)The dog bathing stations are a godsend, especially for those of us who usually bathe our dogs in the bathtub at home. Definitely a lot easier on my back to come here. We will definitely be back!

The staff is super sweet and friendly, helpful, and caring. Selection is decent and at better prices than rival small pet shops. Definitely worth the stop in. Even finicky little Nibbler had a good time.

Always super friendly whenever I've stopped there. Wish that they had better deals on dubias, tho, but I understand that costs are going up everywhere. Definitely great to have them as a backup option for reptile food and supplies.

I never do reviews but: The two ladies who worked the evening of 1/15/2023 were absolutely wonderful! I had just taken in a dog to be rehomed who smelled horrible. Both ladies were so very kind and gave my temporary pup so much love! They were so sweet and I couldn't not recognize both! Thank you! I got in the car and almost cried! <3

These people are so helpful! Every time I go in there someone always pops out to help me.I volunteer at High Sierra rescue and met the folks in reno when i would deliver food from the store to the shelter in portola.I recently found they have store in the smiths shopping center in sparks. the staff is amazing.Please shop here or any of their locations! They are local and support many rescues. Can't say enough nice things about pet station!

Wow! I travel in my van and stop at these places ALL the time and this has got to be the best facility so far. From the quality of the shampoo & conditioner to the dryer actually being a decent heat. I would definitely recommend this specific store! Thank you so much

Fantastic customer service!! They didn't have the fancy mice we were looking for, so they spent at least 15 minutes calling around to other pet stores to help us find what we were looking for!! They have great prices too. I definitely recommend this store. They also mentioned they will be expanding ( =

It's a very cute shop. Very clean and organized but definitely on the pricey side. The staff wasn't the friendliest during our visit but that has not been an issue at other locations. Overall I do like Pet Station but I will shop at the other locations in the future.

I had the most amazing experience at Pet Station on Baring Blvd. Courtney was absolutely amazing, caring, and very helpful. She helped me get my very timid 90 pound German Shepherd onto the doggy bath. She also checked on me to ensure I had all I needed and at the end of his bath, she gave him a treat for being such a good boy. I could go on and on about how amazing Courtney is. I absolutely will not go anywhere else to shop or for a good dog wash. Thank you, Courtney. You are amazing! :)

Watch Out! Under new ownership, we have purchased Stella and Chewy and also Essentials for years now and they always honored the buy 3 and get 1 free. This has been discontinued, being seniors on a fixed income it was always a big help to feed our dog this high quality food. The savings were essential for us. Now we have to see what we can cut from our limited budget so we can afford this food, our dog is so important to us we will have to figure this out.

The staff here is amazing. They're friendly and completely knowledgeable. They are locally owned and prove to care for their customers and animals over profit. With that being said, their products can be a bit expensive when compared to online retailers but are cheaper than other stores in reno. The products offered are of quality. The reason for not giving 5 stars is because this location is run down and comes off as dirty and old.

Been getting pet supplies here since they started out on Prayer Way. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Thier prices are surprisingly competitive. I usually like to use smaller local businesses which is what brought me here years ago when they had a different name on Prater. The name may have changed but the service and people have remained excellent. If you're fed up with the big box stores, I recommend Scraps

I was completely happy with this store for almost a year, until I was to receive a free bag of dog food on one of their manufacturers frequent buyer programs, and was charged sales tax on the "free" bag. The owner tried to tell me that the frequent buyer program is essentially a coupon based program and that they are required by state law to turn in taxes on all transactions. That might be a valid point, however if I have a 0.20 cent coupon off of a dollar, I pay taxes on 0.80 cents not on the dollar. So if I get a 100% discount on a frequent buyer program where you buy 12 and get the 13th free 100% discount is zero! How can you say you have to collect tax on what is supposed to be a zero transaction. Very poor customer service. All of the double talk in the world could not make this any more valid. I will be finding a new store based on principle alone!

We come here for cat supplies. Yes, they have more than dog stuff here. The prices are decent and because I live right around the corner, they are super convenient.Don't let the unfortunate name scare you away from a nice locally owned family business

Good variety of chews and snacks not made in China. Anything made in China should be banned from US. We give them trillions in merchandise which is usually garbage, poorly made, and those filthy nasty people gave us nothing but a deadly disease! Wow, what a trade off. I'd buy nothing anywhere, ever again made in China
