Reasonably priced, and professionally managed; Moana is one my favourite plant shops in the Reno/Sparks area. They have a variety of plants, so there’s definitely something for everyone. Moreover, their prices are affordable & reasonable compared to other stores. Recommend you to come here to buy gifts, satisfy your plant cravings, or just to hangout & relax

I love the variety of plants we've found here. As a nursery, they know plants, our climate and they have some unique finds! We have bought most of the plants in our yard from them. They're hardy and do well. We shop both Reno and Sparks stores. The hardscape products in Reno offer a lot of variety and they're open 7 days a week. As DIY yard people we appreciate that! The staff is always helpful if you have questions. Bring photos of the spaces, they can suggest plants that will do well. Our experience has been fantastic. Love our yard more each year.

The 2 stars was an accident. I had a great experience. There is a plethora of choices for plants. I loved all the water fountains! On a previous visit, my husband bought several plants for our newly done backyard. They look great!

Customer service was extremely rude and uneducated about hee products or when they would come in. She said corporate sends stuff whenever and never knows what will come in. Sounds like corporate doesn't know how to communicate to their stores or staff

Lovely garden center take your time and look at everything plan on being there at least an hour. Prices are pretty normal for a nursery although I do think their trees are outrageous. Other than that very helpful and lots of perennials to choose from. Don't miss their gift shop lots of unique things however Very expensive!

I love this place! Sometimes I go just to sit and listen to the birds and fountains, but usually end up leaving with another plant. I'm grateful that the staff helps when I need it and let's me be when it seems like I just want to wander. Thank you Moana Nursery for doing what you do for me.

Bought some wine barrel planters, went to Moana Nursery to pick out some flowers. Talked with a few people that work there, super knowledgeable and friendly. Wide selection of flowers and trees. Can't wait to plants these flowers. Lots of parking and plenty of carts.

I received a gift card for Moana Nursery so I decided to buy all of my gardening supplies there for this season. I was very impressed with the selection and was able to completely load my entire cart- almost tempted to do a second trip inside since they had so many great choices. The cashier was delightfully friendly also.

Stopped in to see if they had rhododendrons to replace the one I lost to neglect... Black thumb anyone? I'm going to get it right with this one. Found a perfect rhododendron and a few perennials to replace the ones I lost due to an irrigation issue (aka neglect). I'm going to be better... Staff was helpful. Selection of plants was good. Location was convenient. This is my first time at this location but I would gladly come back if I find myself on this side of town.

Even if you know you don't want to buy anything, you can just go around and look. They have a beautiful display of hundreds of different plants. Well-watered and taken care of. I went there just to see something GREEN instead of the monotonous light brown rocks and dried grasses. Fruiting, flowering, shading, low-light, low-water, full sun, wall-crawling, perennials, annuals, biennial, centennial. Made me want buy a plot and get to gardening just so I can buy the plants. Gorgeous sets of furniture, fountains, and grills. If they had some pecans, long-leaf pines, and scuppernong vines, then I thought I was back in Geogia. I haven't gone to everything around here, but I'd say it's definitely one of the premier nurseries in the Reno/Sparks area.I wish I had taken pictures. Sorry!

I called about a plant, told them I would be there just a little before close, and showed up with 15 minutes to spare. The doors were locked already and the guy working went to the back and turned off the lights. I needed this tonight. Not cool.

I really like this place and the people here, but their cashier was noticeably sick today. I asked her about it and she said it was just a normal cold she was getting over. I took her word for it, but it made me a little uncomfortable while checking out. If I were the owner I might keep her from interacting with customers until she was completely over it.

This place was amazing!!! Not too expensive, and they have everything you need to take care of your plants lots of plants to choose from. The employees were so helpful and walkee through all my questions with me no problem. Would highly recommend! 😍😁

Moana is one of my favorite nurseries in Reno. They have TONS of plans, trees, garden crops and shrubs. Their selection is great. The team is always super helpful and gives great suggestions and tips for how to manage your plants!

Better then going to those "box stores". Plants are all beautiful and healthy and just as affordable. Plus you get help from people who really know what they're doing. Friendly staff and great selection of not just plants, but amazing outdoor decor.

Always a good experience, the employees are very helpful and in good spirits, I went today looking for an artichoke plant and thankfully they still had a few left! A little overpriced, but worth it when they have the plants you can't find/that are sold out anywhere else!

I will not be shopping at any Moana locations ever again. I spend a good amount of money at these stores every year, but no more. I was there today 05/07/20 shopping around outside. And was approached by a younger employee who started acting very aggressive and told me that I have to put on a face mask or I need to leave. Which they did offer to provide one. But even as a person with a medically diagnosed compromised immune system, I find that them requiring me to wear a face mask outdoors is ludicrous! If I don't feel the need to wear one, 99% of people out there shouldn't need to wear one. Especially when we are outside in the sunshine!! Which in the case of covid-19, it can't survive more that a matter of seconds in heat and sun light.Great job a perpetuating needless fear and precautions Moana.

Always a pleasant place. Good mix of quality plants. I always spend too much but I keep going back. Props to them for enforcing the mask rule, not everyone takes it well, but it's a good thing.

I will not be coming back to moana! We used to love moana, we spent quite a lot of money at this place! Not happy about the young Mexican lady who approached me and my father demanding we wear a face mask, and that there were some up front. She was very rude and was Very close to me. Face masks are a personal choice. I shouldn’t be denied access into a building because I have a personal choice of not wearing a mask. Rail city garden doesn’t require masks and have MUCH FRIENDLIER EMPLOYEES!!!! I suggest going there instead of moana!
