Sierra Feed and The Saddlery are fantastic! If they don’t have what you want they will order it for you. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and I would much rather spend my money in a small, family-owned business that’s been around since the 70s!

Friendly but they don't sell any clothing items for ranch wear. I stopped in n and introduced myself looking either for part time work or to volunteer as I am currently in a Women's treatment/ transitional living place next door ( The Empowerment Center) I left my number and called them again a few days later and they never returned my call, even to tell me no thank you. They seem friendly though.....

The staff was knowledgeable, not sure if they were part of the family that makes Sierra Feed family owned. The cashier seemed preoccupied with clocking out & the gentleman who helped me the most, his team wanted to close the feed gates where hay & grains are stored. Yes it was around closing time but they had a sign posted stating thanks for supporting local businesses. You wouldn't know it. I could have spent a lot more money but they had other plans. Most likely won't go back. I found a more welcoming place to spend my money on my precious animals. Tractor Supply @ Iron Horse Shopping Center in Sparks. I wanted to buy things I wasn't shopping for.

I have had a few bad experiences with this feed store. When it comes to ordering chickens or ducks you would be better off using other locale stores in the area. They are terrible at communicating when there is an issue with your order. This has been the case with dog food as well. I have called while waiting for my order to arrive just out of anxiety only to be told "there is an issue with your order, Ill have to have the manager call you back tomorrow, because they already left". The following day I called an hour before they closed because I never received the call. I was then placed on hold, that forwarded me to an answering machine 5 minutes later. I left a message and still did not receive a call the following day. Not sure what the deal is but it is now to late in the season to order the ducks I was waiting for. By the way I ordered the ducks in the beginning of April and was told they would come at the end of May. I have come across ducks at other feeds stores during that time and did not buy them because I had already placed an order. Very disappointing for those who get their hopes up and prepare for new additions to the flock and then might have to wait an entire season to get them .

I was looking for a whole bunch of things and a young man that worked there named Cameron was the nicest most helpful and knowledgeable person I have ever talked to. You can tell he was really passionate about helping people 10/10 deserves a raise

Great selection of feed and supplies for pets, livestock and horses. Wide selection of bulk foods for poultry, pet birds, wild birds and small animals. Only problem was miller moth webs in cockatiel bulk bin but only happened once in 20 years. Store is well kept and staff is friendly and knows their stuff. Great alternative to high priced chain stores.

Excellent overall experience. Knowledgeable staff and great supplies for all your ranch horse and pup needs! They carry +5 dog foods. Shampoos.. Saddles etc. And Kind folks

Great source for domestic wild bird food. They even load the 50lb bag in your vehicle to save your back. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

I am heading there today to go look for paddock boots and half chaps, i talked to a sweet lady on the phone who was very nice and gave me all the information i needed to know ( prices, in stock, ect.) Very excited to head down there today. :)

I have since 1983 gotten my dog's from tshots supplies from this One of A Kind Original Business*Pascal got really sick within 24 hours. And they asked the right questions and guienuely listened to me. An my concern thinking it was parvo.But I knew he was current with the shots.Stressed out they calmed medown reassuring me that he was stressed. Because he has never been so sick. And recommended for his stress : 1/4 cup pumpkin 1/4 cup yoguart with cultures. He was better by the end of the day.Thanks SierraAnd Amazing StaffKeep up the Great WorkGod Bless

For all sizes and kinds of animal things this is my place for sure. I can't think of a specific animal they don't carry food for, but if you find one I bet they'll find you feed.I don't own horses, but it seems like the tack shop has you covered there too.
