Took my son to pick out a pet for his 2nd birthday. He picked out a Syrian hamster. The worker was so so. She had zero excitement to help us or him. She of course did help us but could have tried to give a good experience. Our son was over the moon excited. Ultimately we left happy with an extremely happy 7 year old.

This place made my bearded dragon die after only having him for 5 months. When getting bearded dragons i saw 3 all together and wanted all 3 and got told they can be housed together till they get older… WRONG. My little bearded dragon died from being dominated and bullied by the other 2. I tried everything and asked for advice from other people who know more about beardies and they were telling me everything is wrong that the pet store told me. First off, if you have people working in a pet store make sure they have a LOT of knowledge on pets and animals because obviously they’re just hiring teens to do their job. This pet store told me multiple things to do throughout taking care of my beardies and everything they told me was wrong. I hope they get sued and i hope they aren’t ever allowed to take care of animals again. I lost my baby boy because of you guys. I hope you shut down!!!

We use the vet here and absolutely love them! The app is great! The responsiveness of staff when we have a question or an emergency is timely. Could not ask for a better place to care for my fur babies!Recently had our baby girl spayed. Staff was friendly, answered all of our questions, and explained after treatment care well.

Went in today to have our big dogs toenails ground down. Gentle, efficient and affordable @ $15.00. The store was also clean, organized and loaded with great deals. Just $20.07 for these cozy oversized dog beds with removable and washable covers.

Almost every time I come here, the person working the register is terrible; they are not helpful and not friendly. Whoever was working the register today at around 5 o clock, completely ignored all of my questions regarding my coupon book, I found the coupons to be best of my ability and asked him to scan them, and he held my receipt and watched me load my cart with one hand (I had my puppy on a leash in my other hand). The only words he spoke to me was my total and lazily told me to have a good day. This coupon book is something you can purchase from this company by the way, so I was hoping to have some help in navigating it from the person working there.Idk, I honestly think this location would be so much better if it had self check out stations instead of cashiers. More than one person could check out at a time and it would be much more pleasant. The other pet smart in Reno is much better, just wish it was closer to my house.The only reason I give this store 3 stars is because it has a lot of food and toy options, it’s close to my house and I think I’ve encountered two good employees at this location.

I have usually found what I require here, never anything too impressive stock wise but I get what I need. I want to post this in the hopes you'll consider better husbandry and care for your reptiles, you literally have an animal hospital on site and this is the condition and health of your bearded dragons? It's completely unacceptable.

Great and friendly, place! to bring my puppy Jeni for a stroll! I bought her a new stroller...and a new pink harness and lots of other things... Can you believe they had a pink stroller in stock. We had a great day. The staff was so helpful! They even put my stroller together for me in the store. Can't wait to bring my puppy there again for a stroll... Lol... It's a very clean and organized store.

Sick and tired of getting my pup back from the groomers and barely anything removed from her toenails, hair still all around her paw pads and on the top between her toes.They're supposed to cut/grind/cut hair on the pads/cut the hair above the toes.For $20 something that's worth it. Anything less and it's a complete rip off. My pup is over 12 years old, so having her nails shorter helps her joints. Going to the groomers, even for a pawdicure, is traumatic so when I see that's it's not done correctly yet again, I don't let them take her back and cause more trauma.

They don't very good care of their animals up here. Especially the budgies. They just let the birds get sick and separate them when they do. Parakeets are social animals they get very depressed when alone. You shouldn't sell animals of you don't know how to take care of them. This poor little guy is not gonna make it.

I have been taking my dog here for a few years, usually she looks great. Took her this last week and Breanna was the groomer, absolutely horrible! I asked for a sani cut which they always do, she did not. My dog looks like she did when I dropped her off. Do not pick her to groom your dog. She did not even smell clean. Absolutely a waste of time and money!

Just left there. I’ve had some bad service in my time but none like this little thingThe little blonde cashier with the nose ring is an absolute jerk. I’d use other language but not on a review. Me and my friend who witnessed it had some choice words for her. I’ll never spend money there again. Ever. Do yourself the favor and don’t bother. I’ll give my money locally from now on to small shops.

This place is a vetranery hospital, grommer, and pet supplies all wrapped into one. They are outrageously priced. If you want to groom your dog there, you must show proof of updated shots, even if your dog is current and you misplaced your paperwork because you just moved do not, I repeat do not use their vet, it will cost you $300+ for a shot you can buy at many stores around town for $19, they try to pressure you into buying there pet insurance for like $60 a month, I felt like they were trying to squeeze every single dollar I had to my name out of me. Left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. And if you're going to overpay that kind of money, don't expect to walk out of there in 10 minutes with your vaccinated dog. No, they'll be keeping him for hours for the inconvenience of overpaying. Then if they say your prescription refill is ready and you make it there by 7pm and the vet had to leave not even a nurse can give you those $100 worth of NSAIDS that's filled .

I visited in 10/16/22 at 430pm and the team was so friendly, kind, and super helpful! I signed up for a petsmart account online and mistyped the phone number, so it never worked, the girl helping at register was able to look me up and fix it for me. Nice and patient team!

This pets mart is the one I always go to. The staff are personable and always smile when I go in. Recently my dog had dental work done and the staff helped me find a wet food that would work for my dog. They listened to what I had in mind and evaluated the ingredients in my dogs current food to match up as closely as possible in order to prevent an upset stomach. The staff truly care for their customers and their pets.
