The store is so clean and welcoming, the employees are always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely nice people. My son loves to go and look at the animals, and they don't get annoyed if you hang out for awhile. Also, they always have crickets, which we need for our reptiles, so that is a bonus. We stopped going to the two major chain stores quite awhile ago. This local chain is so much better(we also go to the store on S McCarran, have not checked out any other locations) and I know they will alwys have what we need, as well as great service.

I didn’t know about this location and this was by far the best experience i’ve had at a pet station (and Kujo agrees too!) The wash station lay out is very nice and open which I like because Kujo was the most relaxed he’s even been being washed. All the workers gave him treats and pets and they were so kind to us. I have never felt so welcomed at a pet store before!

Great rats. I always get my pet rats here. The manager was kind of rude to the staff when they came in but otherwise have a generally good experience. Staff is always great. Best place to get your crickets.

Pet wash station is wonderful and easy to use. Staff very friendly and helpful, both in person and over the phone. $50 for 5 washes is a pretty good deal. Was able to wash one of my dogs and hitch my other dog next to me in the meantime. Good experience (:

I was always hesitant to take my dog to the groomer. There was always this doubt that they really did what I requested. At the same time, it was a chore trying to bathe my dog at home. It was messy, water got all over, and I had towels to clean. Pet Station’s self service dog wash solves all those problems! Included: warm water, blower, shampoo selection, conditioner, brushes, and towels! Reasonable pricing!

Larzae and Anthony are amazing!! Great customer service, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We bought bunnies from them. Larzae and Anthony were not only helpful, but they were kind, and were able to provide the best customer experience for us. Going here was a blessing. This location on Robb Drive is by far the #1 place to go for all your pet care needs!

I really like this pet station, the doggie wash is nice an accommodating, complete with aprons, towels, brushes and many different types of soaps along with control of the water settings. The shop is a bit pricey but I still like it. However I hope they keep this location strictly to products and not actual animals like other locations. Every time I walk into the one selling pets I’m always disheartened, last time I saw a very clearly unprepared family buying a bunny and just knew it wasn’t going to end well.. for the bunnies sake I hope I’m wrong. The treatment of the small animals really just isn’t my favorite.

I love pet station, so when we moved to NW Reno I was happy to see they had a location in the area. Great selection of products, and I love the section for natural cat and dog treats, although the lack of live animals and reptile supplies was much smaller than we expected.

I had never gone into the store when it was Scraps Dog Co. and had been going to a different Pet Station location (further from me). I recently found out they had this location and have always been pleased with the service. Always helpful and always with a smile. I will continue to buy feeder mice here and start to purchase things for my puppies, cat, pet rat, and snake things at this store.

I really like this store. They have everything that I'd ever need for my two dogs. We even checked out the do it yourself dog wash and the ladies were extremely helpful and attentive. Btw, both of my dogs recently had birthdays and they have the Best Doggie Cupcakes!! Mine loved the Carrot cake cupcakes. They package them super cute as well.

I have a dog that is allergic to everything. This store is my go to for over the counter treatments and specialty dog food. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner was even nice enough to give me samples of different dog foods to ensure that my dog liked it before purchasing a bag.

Amazing self service dog wash. Everyone was super helpful and checked on me several times to see if I needed anything. My doggo loved it even though she hates bath time because 3 different workers gave her love and TREATS!

When I walked in and asked for some tough toys my dogs would have a hard time destroying the gal said " oh nothin like that here" but as I walked around I found a whole isle of nothing but that...? Don't think her sales are keeping the place open!

If I would give zero stars, I would at this point. I've been a long time customer and have always been very loyal to this store, but I must say, the way the staff is handling the FDA's investigation regarding DCM and grain-free foods is completely unbelievable. A suggestion: perhaps being kind and offering good options for your customers that want to be cautious would be a stronger stance to take during a time when your business is at risk. If you take the time with these customers, they will potentially find something that works for them among your selection of food. I called the store today and was instantly cut off, and fed an ear full of incorrect information. I wasn't asking to discuss the topic, I was asking if Scraps carried a food that didn't contain legumes, peas or potatoes. The girl on the line wasn't able to answer that question. She said that in answer that, she'd have to look over every bag of food in the store and she clearly wasn't willing to do that. Come on guys--how are you not ready for that question? On the contrary, I called Healthy tails and they were ridiculously understanding and patient. While they have concerns/doubts about the recent reports (we all do), they seem to have no problem helping customers find foods that they are comfortable with given the circumstances. I couldn't ask for a better experience than the one I had at Healthy Tails, GO THERE PEOPLE! Ask for Kim.

Staff are always very helpful and they have a big selection of healthy animal products. You can take your dog there to use their sinks for bathing your pet, which is nice.
