I adopted a small dog, Pixie, from a shelter. She had matted fur and I could hardly see her eyes. I took her to a groomer here in Reno, who called me an hour later and asked me to pick up my dog, because she was snapping at them. Someone on Nextdoor recommended Lulu's. I called and explained the situation to Jackie. Jackie listened carefully and asked me to bring Pixie in early before others arrived. She let Pixie explore and get acquainted, then started grooming her gently and slowly. It took the whole day, but I had a beautiful and much more relaxed dog when I picked her up that afternoon. Jackie and the entire staff are wonderful, patient, and caring.

Lulu 's Is what you want for the love 💘 of your life (furry face kind). She even offered to take my Border Collie that I was going to give up as she was a bit more than I had bargained for when adopted. But through trial and tribulations, I still have Hazel due to Jackie's support 3y later. Great job Lulu!

Moved to Reno in late March and found Lulu’s through a lot of research for poodle grooming. I’ve now taken my 9 YO Standard Poodle twice and they have done a great job both times! My boy is happy and cared for there and we will continue to use Lulu’s as long as we are in Reno. Recommended!

I don't know who runs this place but it's been impossible to get ahold of anyone to book an appointment. I've tried calling and texting multiple times during business hours. They always let it ring a few times before declining. My messages say delivered but then the owner won't respond. Isn't this a BUSINESS? Smh. Unprofessional.

They take such good care of my dog and she looks amazing when I pick her up. My girl is a real fidget, so I don't know how they do it! She is there for 4-5 hours, but that's because they do a little bit at a time and give her breaks, so I'm totally OK with that.(And I do not understand the negative review about a doodle - my dog is a doodle, and I have friends who have doodles, and we all go to Lulu's and our dogs look fabulous long tail, long beard, long ears - gorgeous!)

Delilah is a fearful rescue about 6 years old. We brought her to Lulu’s for the first time to get her nails clipped. They were great with her!! No difficulty at all!!!!

We have had our 2 poodles groomed twice. Excellent both times. The other dogs coming out, looked great. Carine is our groomer and highly recommend her. Appointments are made through the owner.

It's one thing to be good dog groomers which they are but even more impressive is how awesome of people they are. Always cheerful, caring to the pets, and the extra care and time they have given our older poodle has been a God send we are so thankful for.Update- great folks but got too busy and refused to care for our older poodle when he needed it most.

Our little dog Spud had a traumatic experience with nail trimming at Petco, so we gave Lulu’s a try as it’s closer to our home and had several good reviews. Not only was Heidi gentle and reassuring to our dog, but they did his nails very quickly on a drop in basis, for a very inexpensive price. Another Lulu’s groomer did his nails on a second visit and she was also great! We’re very happy to have found Lulu’s.

If you have any type of doodle stay away. They don’t know how to cut them properly. I have given them three years of chances with our dog and each time I pick him up I can’t stand how he looks. I’ve given them photos. I’ve given them instructions. I finally resorted to telling them not to touch his face and I cut his face. The final straw was yesterday. He was long and had some mats and I told them to make him short and get the mats out but NOT touch his face. I would work on the face. But the lady wasn’t listening and after I left just I knew she was going to do what was easiest for her. And she did. She buzzed my doodle from tail to face including the long ears. All my kids sobbed when they saw him. He is unrecognizable. He is shaved down to the skin and it is winter. This will take a year to fix.

We have used LuLu's a handful of times. We were concerned about how long they were keeping our dogs there so we let the owner know that it was just unacceptable. The next time was better and they were done in about 3 hours. This time however, our dogs were there for 6.5 hours!! I feel like a terrible dog mom for taking them back there. They are two small dogs and shouldn't take any longer than 3 hours total. I had to call at 4:45 knowing that they close at 5pm to check on my dogs.When you make an appointment here they say to just drop your dogs off anytime before 12 but clearly they need to set specific times so the dogs don't have to be there all day. I'm sure they didn't get any food or water all day and had to stay locked up in a cage until they finally had time for them. We won't be using LuLus again.

Been bringing our Mini Schnauzer here for the past few years. The owner is amazing and so very nice. They do a great job of listening and getting the cut right. Highly recommended.

We have been bringing our dogs here since 2014 and the work that USED TO be done by this location was absolutely pristine. However, we just picked our dogs up from their last appointment and they have mutilated two beautiful Poms. We get puppy cuts on them -- this means a fuzzy body and legs with a tidied face. The body has been taken down unevenly, the legs have been done by someone who was apparently drunk because there are literal waves in the dogs fur -- not a straight line to be seen. The face has been absolutely massacred -- all dogs have a natural mask type shape to their face and with poms they have nice fluffy cheeks that are supposed to be TRIMMED and blended to the body -- they have chopped her fluffy face off completely. I am literally embarrassed for my sister's and mother's dogs. And the icing on the cake is that one of them came back hurt. She has been having a hard time walking on a paw and is visibly in pain. My dog has some gabapentin left from a back injury and we have to give that to her just so she can walk. She can barely use it in the morning after a night's sleep. I would normally give this location about 4.5 stars, but after what's been done to our dogs we will never be going back. Shame on them for having let expectations slide this low.

Can’t tell you how happy I am with these guys. Zoe did a fantastic job of removing about 10 pounds of undercoat from my Belgian/German Shepherd. Will definitely be taking him back every two months. Thanks guys!

Caught the groomer being mean/rough with my dog. Making her yelp in pain or fear. She is a small dog and no need to be rough. This groomer did not cut her the way I asked. That can be overlooked but not the poor treatment. My first and last time at Lulu’s Grooming

Really efficient! We pulled up, knocked on the door (they weren't answering the phone) and they quickly trimmed our dog's nails. We were both masked and the process took maybe 5 minutes!

Best ever- period. My dogs are happier and cleaner and are pampered there. But you better expect a 4-6 week wait to get in there.

I took in my mini schnauzer for a shampoo and cut. We agreed to just trim his Schnauzer face which what was done during our previous 2 visits. This time the groomer. Shaved off his beard.uunevenly
