My dog is a heathen and needs a lot of play time. I found Pet Fantasia on Google and thought, well...the daycare price is actually really good at only $20 for a full day for my terrorist to unleash her rath on other unsuspecting, and probably very nice, well trained dogs. The facilities are clean and nice, the staff is amazing, and the creature comes home exhausted!She gets so excited when I her drop off and I'm 99.9% sure she's depressed when I pick her up. I love this place for her so much that I boarded her for over Thanksgiving vacation for 10 days! Again, she was depressed to see me so I know she had the time of her doggie life! Highly recommend this place!!!

I absolutely LOVE Fantasia pet resort! We always take our ladybird for baths and nail trims and she loves the wonderful and caring staff! Recently we had to board her and we knew she would be in good hands! I called every day and they were always so nice and never rude. I am happy to see and hear the barking dogs because, they are enjoying themselves.I wouldn’t dream of taking her anywhere else as I had a very bad experience at a local chain pet store that lost control of my dog and let her almost get run over in the parking lot! Check Fantasia out you will love it! Plus, they have veterinarian on staff now!.

We have been taking our rescue dog "Jasper" there for about 3 years. We have always had a great experience and I believe our dog has to. Yes, they get busy at times and we have to wait to drop off or pick up our dog but that is a "so what".My only complaint is that they are not open on Saturdays. However, they explained that that was a staffing problem.Now that they have incorporated a Vet. staff we don't have to go somewhere else to have is wellness checks and any needed vaccinations. I really like that. Overall we are extremely satisfied with fantasia.

Awesome veterinarians and staff! Highly recommend! My doxies love going there! They are very reasonably priced, super easy to get an appointment, and both veterinarian's genuinely care about my doggies and puppies. As a Dachshund breeder I trust them with all of my veterinary care. Very clean, professional and punctual. One of my dogs went to emergency vet over weekend and Dr. Rod called the following day (Monday) to check and make sure my girl was ok They also have an amazing Groomer there, that I have used for over 20 years! Kristi, is simply the best 🤩

Fantasia is wonderful. Physicians and staff were very courteous and helpful. No dancing around what needs to be done. No unchanging to pad the bill like some other offices. Honesty. Pricing is very fair. You can tell they love animals also. Thank you

I had a situation when I first moved out here. I had an out of town family emergency on a holiday weekend. Every other kennel I called, flat out, said no. No one made any attempt to help.Fantasia was not only sympathetic to my issue but they did what they could to free up a run for my dogs.They have been a valuable member of my dogs extended care circle ever since.

I was looking at boarding my pets here. I drove to Fantasia and checked it out. There is a lot of shooting noises in this area. I looked up where the noises were coming from and its at the Regional Public Safety Training Center. If your pets are sensitive to sound this might not be the best location option.

We are very happy with our experience at Fantasia Pet Resort! Friendly staff and great communication. We have boarded our pup there twice for extended stays and have been happy with the experience both times. I travel quite a bit and have a high energy and big dog and they work so well with him and never make me feel bad about having a high energy dog. The staff is so great and the prices are great. My dog always comes home exhausted and gets so happy when we pull into the parking lot. Always recommend here whenever people ask. I never have any worries while he's here and they have been helpful when needing to administer medicine. No complaints! We LOVE fantasia pet resort!!

We take our dog here for grooming and daycare. The groomer always does a great job and our little noodle has the BEST time at daycare, he never wants to leave. The staff are always friendly. I'm glad we found this place!

Book our small dogs stay there over 2 weeks ago. We went to drop him off the place is basically a animal shelter. Metal fences and concrete walls. The asst manager was short when speaking to us and a bit rude. We have a small dog and they do not have a small dog area and said dogs only get 15 of playtime per day. The facility was overly loud with dogs barking. We did not feel comfortable leaving our dog there so we took him back out of the small prison cell he was in and took him to another local dog boarding facility that was much nicer. We DO NOT recommend this place…especially for small dogs.PS Im an animal behaviorist and dog trainer of 30 years and have seen many dog boarding facilities this one was another level of disappointment.

Fantasia is the best! The owner bent over backwards allowing a Saturday pick up when our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Hilary. We've been using Fantasia for 16 years, two dogs, and have never been disappointed! Our babies return healthy and happy! Thank you Fantasia team for always going above and beyond!"

Update: Our dog was injured during his last stay. No phone call came through explaining anything. Upon arrival is when I found out a piece of his ear was "snagged" and they took care of it. Well, they did, and now my dog has a piece of his ear missing. The vet and I both believe that he was bitten by another dog. We will not be bringing our dog back! -ReginaOur dog was here from March 31- April 5. Everything was great. We are happy we were recommended. -Regina

Dog boarding and daycare was good, but the pickup service was awful. The lady was extremely rude and would not pick up my dogs unless they jumped into kennels in the van by themselves. No assistance jumping into the van or directing them into kennels. They also will not pick up your dogs if you are not home despite what the front desk told me. Overall frustrated.

This place is a joke. I have a pitbull, and no where on their website does it say that pitbulls cannot play at this facility.My husband and I called and requested one night of boarding and dog daycare because we were dropping him off around 1 pm.When we called, we informed them of his breed and they said “ not a problem “When we get there to check the front desk lady was so rude, and then informed us that my dog was not allowed to play at all because he is a pitbull.When I picked my dog up, he smelt so bad! So we have to assume that he was laying in his own fecal matter, and pee.I will never go back! And would not recommend this place!

This is my favorite place to take my dog for grooming. Sarah does a fantastic job bathing and cutting my dog, Tuckers hair. He always looks so good every time I pick him up after his grooming appointment. Cocker Spaniels have a ton of hair and Sarah has always done a great job.

In March we entrusted our dog to Fantasia Pet Resort. It was our first time leaving our boy to take a short family trip. Nello is a rescue so we have no idea what his life was like before. Friends of ours use Fantasia and had glowing reports about the facility and staff so we crossed our fingers and took him. We were told we could call every day and get an update concerning him. They also reassured us they would evaluate him around the other dogs and determine what would be the best situation for him. We called every day and got an update. He had a few minor issues, but they worked with him. We appreciate their patience with him so he could enjoy his stay. They were always pleasant and patient when we called each day. We returned to find our boy happy and doing well. We scheduled him for another stay this summer because we are now confident that Nello is well taken care of at Fantasia. Thank you for taking such great care of our boy, and we will see you soon!

We have been boarding our dogs at Fantasia for over 7 years and have always had an excellent experience. Our dogs are always happy and excited when we drive down the driveway which is a great review! They love to participate in the Doggy Daycare. We also have them groomed at the end of their stay and they return home so clean with a cute bandana. Their prices are very reasonable. The staff at Fantasia is very accommodating and caring. We will continue to use Fantasia whenever we need to board our pups. Thank you, Fantasia!

Boarded dog here over New Year. We've taken our dog to another boarding company here in Reno for many years but this was a last minute trip and they were not available. Fantasia had good reviews and had availability so we figured it couldn't be too bad and it worked for what we needed. When we came back and picked up our dog, however, there were a number of issues.1) His bed was competely destroyed. He has had that same bed for 5 or 6 years without any issues with chewing. We believe he was either placed with another dog (which he was not supposed to be) or he got extremely bored and got anxious which, again, has never happened during any previous boarding. We were told he'd be walked multiple times a day and get some interaction. At our other kennel he was walked 4 times daily and had dedicated play time during the day.2) He scratched up his nose. It looked like a scratch from another dog but may also be from rubbing against the floor or door. Again, likely bored if that's the case. Goes back to point 1.3) He has a bad case of kennel cough and he not been eating much since he got back. His shots were current and since we've taken him to the vet and they confirmed kennel cough. Again, this has never happened when boarded previously. If he was isolated we're not sure how he got kennel cough if sanitization was occurring regularly.Staff didn't seem overly concerned with any of the issues when he was picked up. Disappointed.Overall, not what we were hoping and considering the price is about the same as our other kennel we will try avoiding Fantasia as a backup option. Was really hoping to have a solid backup for our primary facility as they book fast and furious and sometimes life has last minute changes.

I have been bringing my dogs to Fantasia for grooming for about 2 years now & every time I am so impressed. They do a FANTASTIC job with our long-haired German Shepherd mix. We live almost an hour away & go out of way to patronize Fantasia because of the great work they do & their super customer service.

My husband and I love to travel and go for vacation regularly, but because we can't take our two dogs with us, we'd always put them in kennels. We'd tried so many kennels around Reno and Sparks, but had not been really satisfied with the care. Last June and July, we decided to board them under the care of Fantasia Pet Resort. When my husband took them to the place, he was so impressed with the facility and the friendliness of staff. I was the one who picked them up and was surprised to see how clean my dogs were and smelled so fresh. We are again going in a few weeks time, and we will not hesitate to board them again with Fantasia. For the first time we felt comfortable leaving our doggies knowing that they are properly taken care of.Thank you to all the staff of Fantasia Pet Resort for your care!!!

The staff @ Fantasia Pet Resort in north Reno is very friendly, helpful, & professional. The pick up & drop off process is easy & convenient. The lobby is roomy & clean which helps the process. My pets are in as good a shape & clean when picked up as when they were dropped off. Fantasia's telephone process of deposits, information, reservations, etc. can be more efficient (timely). Their grounds & facilities have always been clean & kept up each & every time that I have used their service. Fantasia also has a rewards program that can be used toward future stays. I would recommend this business to anyone who asks for a pet kennel.December 30th - the dogs latest visit to Fantasia - picked my 2 German Shepherd up yesterday after they spent a week there. They seemed to be well fed and in good dog spirits. The staff is very attentive and seems to be concerned with each and every dog. Another positive experience.

I have never boarded my dogs before and a co-worker had mentioned Fantasia... They were absolutely amazing! I got lost and they were kind enough to get my from the gas station down the road, and showed me the pet resort. They are all so nice and truly care about my animals. They explained everything to me on what to bring and the pickup and drop offs times. I will definitely be back....in fact they are staying the night tomorrow night! Thanks Fantasia!

Fantasia is great! I've taken both of my Labradors there for years. The facility is clean and welcoming and they have a nice outdoor run for play. I opt for the bath at the end of the stay and always get a shiny, clean pooch ready to go home and nap for a few more days. :) I've shopped around Reno for a good kennel, and while Fantasia is a little north from town, it's worth it.

I have brought both of my dogs to Fantasia, ever since I have been living in Reno and I am ALWAYS pleased with the service and with my dog's response when I pull up to the facility! Honey is ALWAYS excited and happy when I pull into the driveway which is a GREAT recommendation for me! When I call on the phone, they always remember my dog Honey and have nothing but good things to say about her. This last visit, I explained that my dog was getting older and was getting arthritis and the person at the counter courteously explained all of my activity options for her. I really appreciate it!
