We rented one of the cabins for a fishing trip to Eagle Valley reservoir. Renting over their website was super easy. When we called their office the person on the phone was very polite add helpful, and even stopped into the office/bar the lady working was very polite and helpful as well.Cabin was nice. It had a stove and cookware and some dishes. Beds for 4 people dinnerware for 4 , eating utensil for 1 but we had our own anyways. The view out the front of the cabin was beautiful, but looking around the corner of the building the view was of a trailer park. All in all, would definitely rent the cabin again.Rooms: Cabins are neat and cleanNearby activities: Fishing, swimming, boating, sight seeingWalkability: There’s a creek directly across the road from the cabins. The road goes to Eagle Valley reservoir and echo valley reservoir. Nether road has much shoulder but you could walk to Eagle Valley reservoir, echo valley reservoir is several miles away, but the area around the trailer park is very scenic.Food & drinks: The office for renting spaces and cabins is a bar, and a convenience store with VERY limited grocery options.

Beautiful, friendly country cabin getaway. Neighboring lodgers were so kind to share their toys with our 17 month old grandson. Another left early and gave us ten bbg chicken breasts that were delicious. The grounds were litter free, full of lovely sunflowers with plenty of hiking trails. The country store was well stocked and I won $49 on the slot machines. The complimentary bag of coals at each BBQ was a classy touch. Book early during local events and holidays as they fill up quickly. This was my first visit and it won't be my last.Rooms: Clean, well stocked with all the necessities. Cabins come with a huge outdoor table but only two chairs so I recommend bringing some folding chairs. Extra blankets in the colder months is recommended alsoSafety: Never felt danger.

My grandparents owned a bar/ lodge in northern Wisconsin and this is the closest thing that has ever reminded me of that.Nearby activities: Nestled in a quiet, secluded valley next to a bunch of state parks. It's the perfect hideaway.

I really miss this area. I used to be employed by Eagle Valley Resort. The resort is down to earth. Now I work in a so called winery resort. All Eagle Valley needs to do is take resort out of its namesay. Even the place at work at now calls it a resort. People expect lots out of a resort. The only resort I know of is Park City Utah or up in Wyoming named Jackson Hole where the rich and famous play around. Your average American cannot afford a Resort. Drop that word. Children could care less about a resort. As long as they have fun. And children have fun fishing.

We stayed in the cabin one night we got a medium size cabin. The cabins are right by the store. Which is about a 5 min drive to the water which was awesome. We stayed at the campsites too which was great. Only some campsites have water and power. Ours did not. We caught a decent amount of fish and had a fun time. Also, the cabin proved dishes and soap. The shower was nice after fishing. And one of the bartenders was super nice we ran out of charcoal and the store didn't have any. She went out of her way to find us some wish I got her name to get her thanks on here too.

My family met some friends out there for a weekend of camping and had a blast! We stayed in the cabins while our friends utilized their camper and tent system. The cabins were clean/nice and the staff was absolutely amazing during our stay. Jeff (a manager) was down to earth and chill and we look forward to see him again in the future! We spent our evenings in the bar, drinking, playing pool, socializing and singing karaoke. We will definitely be back with the same group of people, if not more friends to have another fun adventure at this location.

This place has the best customer service. I will stay here every time I go fishing or hunting in the area. Geoff is amazing and takes care of everyone staying on property. Best time I have had in awhile.

Had bed bugs all over our bed. Underneath the pillows and all over sheets. Fell asleep for 20 mins and woke up with them crawling all over our clothes. Absolutely disgusting. They are nasty and don't clean. Be careful or avoid at all cost!!!!

Why was your stay excellent? It was great! It was quiet, a place I really want to plant my feet and call home the rest of my life. Not at eagle valley but close. Jeff was great!! Thank you for being a great host. Me and my husband would like to have a drink next time we visit. Thank you to the young lady who moved us to a bigger place. My daughter (handicap) fell is the shower in cabin B, only because it's small and her disability.but we got moved to cabin G and omg!!! It was great!! What a nice room, the only bugs I saw were big black sink bugs other than that, I will come back and cabin G is perfect for my family, remember that Jeff!!Oh btw I found my dogs home again tag.Stop searching.

I cannot comment about a stay at this resort, but if you're trying to cancel a reservation like I was, be prepared for difficult experience. They don't respond to emails and phone calls aren't returned. Oh, and only "the manager" can do this so if that person isn't around, your out of luck. One more thing, they charge a $6 processing fee to make a reservation online (CRAZY) and a $25 dollar fee to cancel a reservation, no matter how far in advance you do it. AVOID!

The cabins are decent and the reservoir is right down the road. The store has fishing poles and tackle For Sale , beer and liquor. My family loves it up there and the Ice fishing is a great experience in the winter months.

Fantastic customer service, friendly staff, clean campground, and their wi-fi isn’t half bad!The restroom and shower faculty was one of the cleanest I have seen.We saw Deer, caught 20 fish over two days, and it really felt like summer camp for everyone. We were lucky and were placed next to a family who had kids the exact same age and felt unplugged for 3 days.Overall this was a great spot and we can’t wait to visit again!

Got cabin C for 4 nights. TV had no signal, could barely hook up to their wifi. Met my 80 year old parents there. Both of them fell on steps at cabin. My family has been going here for 44 years. Please put handrails on cabin steps. All cabins had TV signal except for cabin C. Jeff tried to fix it, but didn't work. Plus the fact it was cold and snowed. Couldn't take them fishing cause the weather. Nice place, bad experience..

Smaller style rustic bungalows I would call them. The beds are comfy, the heat is iffy and the water pressure is a trickle but the scenery and small town feel is unmatched. The family went for fishing and were welcomed as family by the locals at the little bar. Food was served, kids were happy and friends were made. Nice trout fishing about a mile away and this place is fun.

It’s definitely not a “resort”, more of a trailer park with cabins and some amenities. I could almost say it used to be a trailer park and then it was converted into an RV park with cabins, which is fine but come on ! Move the permanent residents in one area and have the reservable spots in another area. My family and I came with 2 other families, we all reserved full hook up spots which ended up being scattered between permanent residents. The reservable spot is just barely big enough to park a trailer/5th wheel and maybe 1 or 2 vehicles. Some of the permanent residents have their trailer on a spot that looks to be 2 or 3 times bigger area then we had. Along with 3 cars and a golf cart and rhino off road vehicle. The spot we had unfortunately didn’t have a fire pit or a picnic table , it seems some spots have them and some just don’t ? The rules for having a campfire are a little confusing as there’s a sign saying “No campfires as per state order” but then the person you check in with says a small fire is okay. But then permanent residents say no fires and give dirty looks for a having a small contained campfire. There’s a few dogs that roam around without their owner..Another family that came with us had a problem when he left and came back to a chair set in his parking spot. He barely had room to fit to park. The neighbor(permanent resident, license plate says BAD CHECK) then came out and explained he needed room to water his nonexistent grass ! Very rude !I guess if your looking for a place to stay if the campground is full it would be okay for a day..

We stayed here thinking it was a nice RV park. It's pretty run down and not maintained. The first thing you notice is that most of the people staying here have been here for years. Their travel trailers have skirts made of siding that go over the whole bottom of the them and they have huge propane tanks that residential homes have. All of the spots are on uneven gravel. Our water hook up was a large PVC pipe in the ground and the spicket was about 6 inches down and facing up. There was barely any room for your hand to turn on the water. There was also a bunch of fire ants in it so that wasn't very fun. There is not much to do at the place itself. I don't know how they call it a resort. There was free taco night and karaoke on Friday. The employees were nice though. I can say that.

So we came here for a weekend with my dad to go fishing we stayed in cabin C and it was perfect size to accommodate us and everything worked good just wish they had a better lamp in the room with the bunks but that didn’t take away from the amazing weekend we had !!! I will remember this trip forever we almost lost my dad last year so this trip meant a lot to me so when we arrived we were greeted by Halle Barry the boxer she’s so sweet and so welcoming !! We had a great experience with everyone we met and truly enjoyed fishing at both the resivore and echo lake it was so peaceful and everything just flowed nice !! There is a bar that has machines and a pool table !! The bar tender was so informative and made us feel welcome he’s Halles owner !! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing fishing weekend !!! Cabin C is the best cabin in my oppinion but have other options as well !!!

I was camping near by at the horsethief camp grounds right next to the Reservoir so I came by this resort area couple times. I stopped in to get some extra supplies that I needed, and also for some snacks. They have a guest Wi-Fi connection that anyone can use, and for a free connection it wasn't bad at all. The main building has a little General Store, and the rest is a bar/lounge. The staff was really nice, very attentive, and never bothered us when we were just lounging around taking up space. The friendliness was really something special.

a good place to stay with your own RV. The cabins are in need of a lot of repair. No sink in bathroom. We did not get clean bedding. Bed was just made from the last people. Swamp cooler ac was full of mold and dirt.

Awesome place to camp! I go there with a MeetUp group and there is always enough room for all of us. I have a 30 ft travel trailer and everything is pretty easy getting around. They have some spots with hook ups, pull thru spots, and tons of room for tent camping. Everything is clean... grounds, bathrooms, showers... the Reservoir, not so much, good for kayaking, small fishing boats, and always loads of folks fishing from the dock and on the shore. I have a state park pass so camping is free and $15 if i wanna use hook ups. If no state pass, camping is $15.

I had the best time with my kids and old friends. We stayed in the cabins that they rent out. They are fully stocked with a stove, fridge, microwave, and everything you would need. They also have wi-fi, a general store, and a bar. There some decent fishing at Eagle Valley Reservoir and Echo Dam. If your looking for a great time with family and friends, this is your place.

Nice place to stop and get a drink at the bar. They also have a small store if you are up there camping and forgot to bring something. You most likely can get it there. Firewood included. Eagle Valley Resort also rents out cabins. Eagle Valley Reservoir has always been a favorite fishing spot for me.
